    Not cheap but ok Good quality of clamp with multiple screw holes for several directions. Make sure you use right thread bolts here,1/4"-20 or 3/8"-16. 5Plus the screw holes are easily threaded. We actually are using them to clamp a piece of plywood that my daughter uses as her desk, to the top of a very shallow shelving unit. They had that low profile so we could have something close to a wall. They are sturdy. The threading is smooth and worked very, very easily. The measurements are accurate. Anyone else? 5Be careful before ordering -- smaller than it looks, and not eligible for return. This was recommended to help install a part on an office chair. The problem is that the opening on it is smaller than it appears in the photos. I didn't check the return policy before I ordered, because Amazon is typically very good about returns. This is sold by a third-party and therefore subject to their return policy, which is "ya bought it - ya keep it".I did not measure, because there are verified buyers' photos that show it fitting neatly. Had I realized that it was not returnable, I would have certainly measured first. Took me about 3 hours to get the clamp off! Also, I did not want to mangle the threads using a metal clamp, so I used a rubber padded one and the threads mangled it. Very disappointed with this because that's an EASY quality control check. 2A great multi-use mounting system! These worked perfectly for mounting a sound bar to the shelf beneath my monitor; I just screwed in a pair of 1/4"-20 machine screws (3/4" long worked well), and then slipped them into the mounting holes on the back of the sound bar.You can't really tell from the photo but there is a nice thick plastisol coating on the parts of the clamp which contact the surface which both minimizes sliding and protects the surface of whatever you're mounting it on. The bottom part is indented so it also fits snugly on a curved surface, like a monitor stand. It's a solid, well-engineered, and versatile product all around. 5
