    Good product Works well, it is well made and the cable is very flexible. Can provide enough current to power a USB hard drive.EDIT: Cable had a break in it after two weeks, devices connected with it would randomly disconnect. Returned it. 1Nikon Pro Bodies to iPad Pro 2018 Works perfectly directly connecting my Nikon D850 to my iPad Pro 2018. It also connects the D810, D500 and the D5. The Cable is well built and the ends are not easily bent. The best part is not having to buy another overpriced proprietary locked down camera adapter from Apple. The era of 30 pin and lightning adapters has finally ended. 5Works as intended, happy with product. Since i purchased my macbook pro, I have only usb c ports. This cable is working great for my WD Easyshare 2.5" HDD. Data speeds seem to be about right compared to the usb 3 cable that came with it. Now if only all my usb thumb drivers were usb c.... 5Excellent cable! I recently purchased the new 2017 Kaby Lake MacBook Pro, but now they have USB type C ports only. I also had a Seagate 8TB backup drive and was using a USB 3.0 port on a hub, but it is still kind of a hassle and the data has to be shared with other things using the hub. This cable was perfect as it plugged directly into my Seagate Expansion 8TB Desktop External Hard Drive and then into a USB-C port on my MacBook Pro. It is amazing how much faster it is now. Even though my hub uses a USB 3.0 that supports 5GBit speed, this is much faster yet and does not share with anything else now. It is perfect for what I needed it for. I got this fast and it is a high-quality cable IMO. 5Good quality cable. This cable works as intended and seems to be a good quality. I bought it for a display link monitor to use with my MacBook Pro (Late 2016) and it works exactly as it should. I'm sure it would also work to charge any phones or devices that use micro usb 3.0. Do note this cable will NOT fit in a micro usb 2.0 port. 5Cable Matters makes the best cables. I was having USB 3 interference problems because my devices had come with cheap cables. USB 3 interferes with the 2.4Ghz signal band, used by both wifi and Bluetooth. In my case, cheap cables were causing my iMac mouse and keyboard to disconnect all the time. I purchased this and another USB 3 cable from Cable Matters and viola, problem solved. 5Works perfectly I wanted a cable to go between my MacBook Pro and an external 3.5" hard disk that I have for backups. This works perfectly, so far as I can tell. Data transfer seems as speedy as could be expected. 5Works great for my external blu-ray drive I bought this to interface a laptop with USB-C with my external blu-ray drive. So far I have only tried it for reading blu-rays, but I will update this if I have issues with writing to blu-rays. For my needs, I will be spending most of my time reading blu-rays for storage on my NAS. 5It works well, tight fit and the price is decent I bought this cable to plug my Western Digital My Passport Pro into my new MacBook Pro (USB-C) without using an adapter. I can't comment on durability as I've had it for less than a month, but it is a nice and tight fit. The transfer speeds seem to be as good as the old cable - presumably only limited by the speed of the drive (non-SSD).I like that it is longer, too. The original cable was about a foot long.The only thing that would have made it better is if it a splitter on the USB end that had both a USB-A and USB-C dongle. 5Works great and don't be afraid to ask for a replacement if things aren't quite right. This is an update to my original one star review. Cable Matters stepped up and sent me a new cable to replace the one that was disabling my WiFi (strange). This cable works great. So if you get a cable that is disabling your Wifi ask for a replacement. This cable works fine with my portable hard drive. Life is good. 5
