    Nice product. The breaker does its job, fit and finish is great like you'd expect from bussman.Attached a photo of it installed. 5Works Great I have used these circuit breakers before on some of my higher amperage items (75 amps and 100 amps) and was looking forward to being able to use the 50 amp version of this circuit breaker. On this application, I used the 50 amp circuit breaker in place of a HEAVY DUTY fuse in my RV on a circuit that was giving me trouble. As I ran down the "short", the circuit breaker tripped as it should have and it didn't cost me $5.00 each time like the heavy duty fuses. Once I ran down the issue with the circuit (frayed wire, of course), I left the circuit breaker in place. These are my "go to" replacements when fuses and fusible links go out and I will continue to use them on my RV, boat, etc. 5Not installed yet To be used to protect cooling fan circuit on 1983 Mustang GT Convertible. It will replace a fuse circuit 5Great circuit breaker that can also be used as on/off switch. I used this for the first time this last weekend and it worked as it says it should. I have it mounted on the top of the battery box on my pontoon boat. After connecting it to the battery via separate battery cables (don't forget you will need them), I connected it to my electric motor an now have no worries about it. Not only does it take the place of a fuse, and it is so much easier than replacing fuses, I also use it as the on and off switch for the motor. Bravo. Havnt shorted my trolling ... Solid, well made product. Havnt shorted my trolling motor yet to test it. If i do and it dosnt trip ill update my review. I can definitely attest to it being waterproof. I use it in a kayak that sometimes fills w water in certian areas..like right where i place this breaker box. 5Solid Connecters are solid. Operation is solid. Mine has been working in an exposed location for over 6 months. 5Works as it should! I got this for use on my trolling motor (boat/fishing) so that the motor won't burn up if I jam the prop on a log and stop the motor.As I was hooking it up, I accidentally shorted across the circuit breaker (after I hooked it up to test it, I dropped the circuit breaker and it happened to land perfectly on the negative terminal of the battery). After the momentary flash of sparks, the breaker tripped as it should. Very easy to reset, just squeeze the lever back to position.This is a GREAT thing to have on the boat. 5Easy to install, proved it's value in the first week! I purchased this to replace the inline fuse to my trolling motor when I rewired my old fishing boat. Like others have stated, it's nice to have the ability to kill the circuit by pushing in the red button and have the safety of circuit protection. This item proved its value the first week I had it installed when my (very old) trolling motor foot controller went up in smoke and the breaker tripped to limit further damage. Now I get to purchase the new trolling motor that I wanted anyway, without having to buy a new boat to go with it! 550 Amp Breaker - /on/off switch I use my 50 amp Bussmann breaker for my Minn Kota 101 lb thrust trolling motor. The great part about it to me is that by pushing the red button on the top it opens the circuit. So I don't have to install an on/off switch along with the breaker. When I want to cutoff power to my trolling motor I just push the red button and the circuit opens, shutting off power to the motor. To turn it back on/close the circuit, you just have to slide the little black arm back into it's "on" position and you're back in action.Plus it's a great safety feature. 5
