    Great value, excellent tool to allow me to stay activeI have two ruptured discs (L4-L5) and play recreational tennis. I already have things like a tens unit, inversion table, etc which help in short spurts but this brace allowed me to play a 3 hour high intensity singles match. It protected me from any further injury and allows me to continue playing the sport I love. Great value. I have not yet attempted to launder it, but it seems very well made and is extremely comfortable. I m 6 2 and just under 300 lbs and the XXL fits me perfectly. I highly recommend for anyone working to prevent lower back injury and continue to stay active. 5When you young you feel like Superman , trust me protect your back from early live long live wellI have 6 different back brace in 2 years but this one is perfect it s light weight you don t even realize it on you . Feel good don t leave a residual strain on your brace when you finish using it .I use this on work I am a floor installer/sander and refinisher and I am always lifting , moving box of floor , furniture and appliances 5Ehhhh ... Look at other optionsIt supports your back and has two layers of straps to secure around your waist without the back strap loosening.CONS: The lower back support does not have much material, function or much anything to constitute back support. It s very irritating on the skin due to the material, better over a shirt. Also it s difficult to center on your spine.I don t have major lower back problems nor am I diagnose with one. I m average fit guy, 5 11 170 pds who works out regularly. I assume the strap is suppose to be the back support. I do not recommend this to anyone with minor or chronic lower back pain and if you re looking for some lower back support this is not itDon t buy, I would return it if I could which is also odd 1This back support brace really helps!!For whatever reason, I pulled a back muscle. that just won't go away. Usually when this happens, I go to my chiropractor, and it gets worked out, by one or two adjustments. But this muscle pull, is completely different, as it is just the lower right portion of my back. It is soo brutal, that I can't even walk, without causing back spasms. I even tried Lidocaine patches. But, when I put this brace on, after about the first hour, the spasms went away. I wore it for nine hours at work, and it kept the pain and spasms at bay. About 15 minutes after I took it off to go to bed, the spasms started back up, but not as intense. This is my second day to wear it at work, and right now, I have no pain or spasms. So, it does work!! 5Best Back Brace Ever Worn! Finally, pain relief!I had to post this review so fast as I got instant relief. I already had a bad back with degenerative disc disease and more when I fell a couple weeks ago on my newly installed handicap ramp. Irony, I know, right...Anyways my back was hurting more and more each day coupled with intense hip pain. When seeing my orthopedic Dr. for my hip, we discovered that when I fell I fractured atleast 2 vertebrae. Im awaiting more results on an MRI. They are compression fractures in my lower back. Compressing not only on each other but it seems on the nerves as well for main spine.When I put this brace on, the support for my back gave me instant relief. Its been days dealing with this so Im elated. The compression that it affords you is great. Its fully adjustable by you, so you can adjust to what feel best. I know Im supposed to wear it very snug as the dr. said it will help stabalize the area until we can better access it with the MRI. It feels better more snug. I understand now what other reviewers were saying about it staying put and not bunching up. It does stay put which is another awesome feature. The stabilizer bars help it keep its form as well. Ive had braces before and tossed them just as fast as I put them on. This one will be staying. Im actually goibg to order another on for my daughter whom has back issues as well. She said WOW as soon as she put it on!!If she says something is good and comfortable we should buy stock in the company as shes very picky. So I cant thank you enough today for the relief Ive gotten. Ill be able to get around the house better and feel safer doing it with the brace to stabilize and support my lower back. I have a big frame and am heavy so I ordered the XXL and its perfect. Id say by picking that size for me that they are pretty true to sizes offered. 5Hold Me Tight and Never Let GoBest back brace I have ever owned. It's even comfortable to sit with, which is rare. The additional pull-straps on either side of the belt allow you to adjust the tightness even further, so you have many grip options depending on what you are doing when wearing the belt. If you need a looser grip when walking versus weight lifting, adjusting those additional straps may do the trick alone. If not, removing and readjusting the belt is easy.The velcro does not move or stretch. The belt holds secure.This brace is not too rigid, so it does not bite into your skin. Even when you are performing exercises or everyday activities that require bending or stooping. I love that about this belt. It blends superior function with reasonable comfort.Furthermore, if you are injured and need to wear it all day, the belt can easily be concealed under a shirt or sweater. It feels fine against bare skin, but I would not recommend going literal "bare back." Over a light t-shirt would keep it from chafing or soaking up sweat.Definitely gets you back into the action when you are hurt or sore. Definitely keeps you from accidentally hurting yourself when doing more strenuous things. Definitely a good weight-lifting belt. And--as a plus--it looks much cooler than those hard leather horse saddles some people wear in the gym. Not for power-lifting, though.If you have even a twinge of discomfort in your lower back, I recommend you give this belt a try. It has an amazing hold, is manufactured from high-quality materials, and is the most comfortable brace I have ever worn personally. Just be sure to order the correct size! 5Updated - With a back injury, I have found this to be a great support brace.Had bought another support for my back from Amazon and it just did not work well - no real support, made me sweat (not good). Got this one and must say that it works wonderfully. I know some of the other reviews say its only for working out or for supporting your back while doing a task but I have used this while traveling as flights were causing me issue with my injured back. Wore it on the flight and during a trade show where standing is the killer for my back. Did a wonderful job of giving me the support I needed. Love the ability to adjust the back brace in multiple ways with the way this belt is designed. One minor issue. Had some "rubbing" from the belt and could not really see anything that would have caused it. Flipped the belt over and the part that was rubbing my skin in the initial position did not repeat the issue when the belt was flipped. Just a FYI.1/20/2019 Update - I bought a second one of these after 1) using the stuffing out of the first one and 2) losing weight to I had to get the next size down. Have had the second one for about 6 months now and like the first one it has proven invaluable to the happiness of my lumbar. Using this one for travel, trade shows or for those days when I need some additional support for my back. A full price paid reviewAbout a decade ago, I had a back fusion that has caused me intermittend problems. My lower back would tighten up and I would have pain severe enough that I could not walk or participate in activities. I tried many things, including TENS, hot cold, rxs, you name it. As a last ditch effort I ordered this lumbar brace to replace the surgical one(s) I had been using but were getting old. Immediately it eased some of my pain. Right out of the box (which was easy to open) I was able to understand the way the belt worked and the direction it should go on. This belt has (you can see fom the picture) extra bands to tighten (or loosen) the back to suit support and pain levels. I wore the belt resting and over my clothes. Wearing it over my clothes felt a little more supportive. Over time, the pain went away from wearing the belt, and when I forgot to wear it, it sure let me know I felt better putting it back on. Overall, I feel it is really healing me from these additional injuries and insults my back has had since surgery. Compared to other things I have tried, I feel this is the first thing I would use, and in conjunction with a topical pain spray, I have better pain control. Thanks for reading. 4Best Compression Back Brace I've Used, Extremely AdjustableI first need to say that this product is excellent. I've tried a few compression back braces(including Brett Favre's) and this has been the best one by far.I'm a 30 year old guy who is relatively active and I grew up skiing and skateboarding, so my backs pretty messed up from years of hard impacts and falls. I still weight lift and play basketball in a men's league, which is why I like this brace because it is great for both of those activities. It has two adjustable straps on both ends which allow you to wear it relatively loose or make it extremely tight. Making it very tight has been perfect for weight lifting while I can also wear it loose while playing basketball. It allows me to run and bend over without cutting into my sides(which has been my problem with other braces).I'm weigh 165 and have a 32 waist. I bought the S/M and I was originally worried about the fit, but I fall pretty much right in the middle of this band. I'd say that the S/M would fit a waist up to 36 - maybe slightly larger, but I'd trust the size chart posted with the product description. I haven't had any problems with it irritating my skin, which is nice because I do a decent amount of running(and sweating) in it. It says to wash it in warm water, and I was worried about the velcro wearing out from being in water, but I haven't had any issues with that. I've also been careful not to saturate it too much however.Overall, I'm clearly a fan of this product. Its extremely adjustable, which is what I'd say is its biggest advantage over any other compression product I've used. I can run and play basketball in it without worrying about it moving around, but to me, its been most useful towards weightlifting because its comfortable, even when I have it as tight as possible, so it helps me keep form and helps to make sure I'm not being stupid and throwing my back out. 5
