Awesome SpeakersI am the owner of a business that builds wake tower speaker mounts for personal watercrafts, and these are the speakers I recommend. I personally have a pair of these mounted on the back of my Sea-Doo, and they slam! I am not using an amp, and have them paired with an Infinity head unit with a max rating of 50w per channel. Many months of brutal abuse, and they are still going strong!5They sound greatI bought these after I did a ton of research. I am always outside or at bonfires listening to my truck stereo. with the doors open at bonfires or just outside in general smoke and bugs always get in the truck with the doors open or windows down. So I bought these marine grade speakers and mounted them under my toolbox on a 2" aluminum bar, they are being pushed with a pioneer 480 watt 4 channel amp. THEY SOUND GREAT!!! I am completely satisfied. I wired in a switch to the remote wire to turn them off when I don't need them. These speakers are super loud. Would def recomend these to anyone!!5super easy to hook upI got these for my 91 Jeep yj for the roll bar, but I guess I mismeasured because the plastic clamps did NOT fit around my roll bar. Nothing some work with a back saw couldn t fix though. Got them mounted, super easy to hook up, look badass, and sound great. Everything is crisp and clear and LOUD. Recommended for Jeep owners if you know how to use a hack saw, but otherwise make sure you measure properly because they WILL MOT fit on a 1991 Jeep yj roll bar.5Fit Honda Pioneer 1000I have not tested for audio quality as my amp has not arrived. I am posting this to let Honda Pioneer 1000 owners know that these will mount to the roof railing with 2 pieces of the rubber filler on each side. Mounted mine in the middle section behind drivers seat facing downwards at the outermost edges which made them easy to tighten since I have the roof and access to the screws is difficult without removal. I will update as the work progresses.4Tricky sellerThe speakers were bigger than I thought and could not swivel and were sticking out side the confines of the soft top of my 73 Bronco with a full roll cage. The ad states that there is free returns for prime members. I had one out and tried it in several spots without moving any hardware. Repackaged as was and seller screwed me for 50%. Would have kept them if I known that and layed them on a shelf. Seller is a not a nice person...bad business person....good teacher...much thanks for the lesson.1So far so good. I've been running these for the last few ...So far so good. I've been running these for the last few months in my FJ40. They mount securely to the roll bar and have plenty of power when connected directly to my head unit. I can hear my music clearly with the top off at 60mph on 37" tires. They are compact enough that they won't be right in the face of the rear passengers, like most other wake board speakers.5good dealMan these things work great! I use them on my golf cart and they get rattled around a lot but still working great.Sound is good and they look very nice. Ive had them installed for over six months now. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be to add an adapter for the mounts for smaller diameter tubes. If they came with that it would be a five star item.4Worked great on Kawasaki mule roll barPut these on a Kawasaki mule 600. I had to use some bike inner tube to make a spacer shim but them work fine for this application. would be hard to hear on a boat but perform very well for their size. I bought a roof mounted console for " high powered" radio and pair of 6 inch speakers. added these to get 4 speaker system on the Mule. I had no room for rear speakers or an amp but these work well and are water resistant at least.. Very satisfied. I would suspect that their larger speakers would work great on a boat.4Great SoundAfter deciding between the 6.5" or these speakers I got these and they are awesome. I installed them on a 2012 Polaris rzr 4 900 and they are loud and clear. Used a boss 500w 4 channel amp and they sound great. They don't distort even at full volume. And look much better then the 6.5" speakers51995 Jeep YJ Roll Bar install.1995 Jeep YJ install. Speakers sound really good. Mounted them on the roll bar. Fit great. No modification needed in the location I chose. Would buy them again in a heartbeat. Great value for the money. Used $7.00 off coupon. Can t touch speakers like this for double the money.5
