    One StarIt's just a black spray over it and no well painted 1Five Starsit is a good product 5Great for military applicationsGreat for military applications. Its more "tactical" than the clear case that you can see glistering in the sun from a mile away. The coating is on a clear plastic case however, and with use will wear off. just touch it up every now and then with spray paint. Also if your looking to camo, this is a good base to start with. If you just camo the regular case it flakes and the clear shows through. 4Not really for the Hero 3+Not exactly what I expected. This is a standard Hero 3 case that someone spray painted black. I thought I was buying an after market case that was made using matte black plastic and made to the original gopro specs. The paint is very thin and you can still see the blinking record and wifi LEDs through the case. The LEDs must be disabled through the camera menus before use. Also, this is a Hero case. Not the new more sleek design of the Hero 3+ case. Although the Hero 3+ will fit, this case is slightly over sided to accommodate the older model Heroes. On the plus side, lots of care seems to have gone into painting the case. Although its only a thin layer, there is no over painting of the buttons and everything works as it should. Side note, if you have already purchased an LCD screen and case back for your Hero 3+, it won't work with this case front. This is a great idea. It just needs an update. 2Very nicely done.Very nicely done. I never liked the look of the shiny clear one I had. Although well-made, it looked kind of cheap and was too reflective. Some reviews of this item state it is just a spray-painted standard housing. For what it's worth, I had tried spray-painting my clear one with quality paint after prepping it properly, and it looked terrible in no time - scratched and flaking off. I was told it can be hard to get paint to "stick" to some plastics. I haven't been gentle with this one, and the paint job (or whatever it is) still looks great. So I doubt it is "just spray-painted". They're doing something else in the making of these to make the finish much more durable than what I could get out of a can. The masking of the openings is flawless as well - no overspray. I'm very pleased with it and can recommend it. I'm considering getting one of the camo ones, too. 5too me the price is cheap and it looks like someone spray painted a clear housing blacktoo me the price is cheap and it looks like someone spray painted a clear housing black. overall im happy with it 3Two years, survives dog chews and Tuckerman's RavineI purchased my GoPro housings from them before they started selling on Amazon. I have both a camo (woodland) one for me, and a pink one for my daughter (and occasionally, when she is whimsical, for my dog!) The camo unit is almost two years old, and despite wear and tear hiking you have to look closely to find any places where a scratch even shows through the multiple paint and varnish layers. It can handle Mt Washington weather, and the pink one even survived a dog trying to scratch it off his head! 5Blackout GoPro HousingNicely done. No issues with housing. At the inside corners the LED lights are somewhat visible, but is easily remedied by turning off the LED's on the camera. Wish they used the standard housing that goes deeper but the housing that is used is suitable for most diving. Good product and I would recommend it. 5expensive spray piant jobThis is a spray painted gopro case. Mine showed up with a crackled paint job and still smelled like the can it came from. I had to pay to return it. In painting the case they also filled all the lens screws with paint too. 1Good quality, very durable and holds up to being ...Good quality, very durable and holds up to being waterproof. Only issue was I had to cover up red blinking light with electrical tape so before I took it duck hunting with me as you could still see it brightly through the housing. 4
