    easy install for retrofit lighting We changed over to LED's with these retrofit light. easy install , Work Great... We put these in out Kitchen and Living Room. We went with the 4000 witch is the bright and put a dimmer on them , it worked out Great.... Can't miss with this Item.. Price was great... 5Perfect LED light compatible with Lutron Caseta These lights are fabulous. 3000K is the perfect balance of light color, not too yellow and not too white. They have a super clean white finish and fit perfectly tight and flush to the ceiling using Halo housings. These lights are also compatible with Lutron Caseta smart dimmers which was a must for me. I originally bought the Hyperikon but the light was too yellow and they were not compatible with lutron caseta dimmers. Also the finish on Heprikon trim was a dull white and did not sit perfectly snug to the ceiling. 5Nice Trims Consatnt light spectrum I am a building professional. I have installed a lot of led can trims. These are the best I have found to date. I have had issues on other projects of different brand trims where the color of the light was not consistent. I just installed about 150 of these there were no DOA lights, the color of light was consistent (3000k), They dim properly and do not buzz.I can not say if they will last since we just installed them, my guess is that they will. 5LED's have gotten much better and much more affordable! I've been wanting to change from CFL to LED's for a while, but I was waiting for the current CFL's to die. Well, they never did. I was tired of waiting for the CFL warmup, so I did some research on replacing them. These were just what I needed. They were easy to install, and they are great. Order with confidence. 5Great product - easy install I've recently installed a number of Bioluz retrofit can lights, both in 4" size and in the 5"/6" can size. I've also installed both the 2700K and 3000K light color temperatures. I selected these units both to improve the light quality in our home and to achieve an airtight seal to reduce air leakage into the unconditioned roof areas (improves heating/cooling energy efficiency in your home). The Bioluz units come with a foam gasket to improve the air sealing and are compliant with the strict California Title 24 regulations.Installation was trivial. I found that rotating the fixture about 30 degrees after installing it in the existing ceiling cans helped to tighten the trim/gasket against the drywall.These units provide much more light than our previous setup (standard LED A19 style bulbs in recessed cans). One reason is that this solution brings the bulb much closer to the ceiling whereas in the previous setup the bulbs are recessed several inches up into the ceiling so the can obscures much of the illumination. The other reason is that these lights are quite bright. I ended up installing dimmers to reduce the light output slightly.Customer Service - I contacted customer service a couple of times with questions on their products. I got very prompt, helpful responses. While the lights are manufactured in China, the company is based in the US.I can not comment on longevity as these lights have only been installed for a week. 5Gave my living room some light! These really brightened up my front room. I probably could have done it with just 6 but you can always dim the lights provided you get a dimmer switch(which I highly recommend) 5I love the lights These lights are BRIGHT! I installed 6 (maybe too many) in our bedroom and wow they light the room. A dimmer switch is a must, we have the dimmer set just about 50% for the right amount of light. My order was delivered wrong, but I contacted Bioluz customer service and they fixed the problem immediately. 1 of the 6 had a loud buzzing sound which they said was a defective light and sent a replacement immediately. The dimmer switch I bought was LED compatible (Lutron MACL-153MR-WH), but it has small green lights on the on/off switch. Because the switch draws a small amount of power to light the green switch lights, the 6 LED lights always had a extremely dim glow to them even when turned off which was only visible at night. I replaced the dimmer with a slide-style dimmer (no green lights) and the problem was solved. I love the lights! I will buy more. 5Great lights Install was extremely easy. Color of light (3000k) was exactly what I was looking for. Should of bought these a long time ago. Very impressed. 5Flicker often. These lights are bright, easy to install, and reasonably priced for the quantity received. The issue is that these lights flicker after a short time of being on. This is very annoying and will cause me to purchase a better set of LED lights from the local hardware store, so I will have a longer time of use to see how they work and be able to return them if they are faulty. I can not return these because I am out of time, so I will not be ordering lights again. 2Great retrofit recessed lighting fixture Great retrofit recessed lighting fixture, easy install, snug fit at a great price.During installation one fixture was caught by the wind, fell ten (80 feet) stories onto an asphalt drive didn't look great but functioned as new! I would not advise this test. Will use this product again in our next project. 5
