Bright and Nice but somewhat iffy quality. Three lights came bentI am back and forth on 3, 4, or 5 stars here. On the plus side, they are bright and very nifty when compared to my old fluorescent bulbs. But what about the negative... Well, there are a few. First, the glare a bit more than I would like. I'd have preferred a frosted plastic to soften the light a bit, but that wasn't an available offering.Second nit is that the interconnection cord is pretty short. It would be nice if the company offered different lengths. I seemed to need "just a bit more" several times, which was very frustrating.And now for the quality of the build. Its a lightweight build with an aluminum back. Three of my lights had a pretty good bend to them. I'm not sure if this was at the factory or during shipping. I was able to bend them back, kind of sort of, but I'm not thrilled with that. I'd probably knock it down to a 3 on that if the bent lights were any worse or if I had had a fourth one like that.I'm on the fence about the manufacturer over the fairly lightweight build concern (bends). I'm thinking of buying some more (or possibly the 20W version) but the experience with the backing is giving me a little pause.4A great deal on shop lights UPDATE 1/21/2019I changed my rating to 5 stars. The seller contacted me and honored their warranty. There may have been an issue with the amazon messaging system. Would definitely buy again. I recommend these over the single LED strip ones (https://www.amazon.com/Barrina-Integrated-Fixture-Utility-Electric/dp/B01HBT3BVM) unless you are concerned about power or cost more than lumens. These have three conductor wiring and the other set only had two conductors (no ground). I bought that set of six first and have it over a smaller area, one bay of a garage. This set is over two garage bays. I wish there was an option to run the wiring up through the back of the fixture instead of only out the side, for hard wiring.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The lights are a good value. Very bright and nearly instant on. I like the extra connectors and cords provided. Packaging was more than sufficient. Material quality is decent but certainly in line with the pricing. Quality of the construction is professional although I didn't disassemble to look at the circuitry.Within a few days of installing, one of the lights was flickering and dim. I contacted seller to get warranty service but they only offered a $20 credit. Since I needed only one light and they only sell six packs I asked for just a single light. Seller never contacted me again (despite numerous requests by me) and didn't even provide the $20.I hate product reviews that review the seller but amazon won't let me leave a seller review and in this case the seller is the manufacturer so maybe bad product reviews will improve customer service or quality control.5Super bright lights. Cheap install screws. Needed better lights to replace my 2x4 light panels. These 8ft fixtures didn t disappoint at all. No more yellowish lights. You can daisy chain the lights together up to 10. I ordered two sets of 6 for a total of 12 lights. The 4 foot extension cables could be at least 6 feet in length, I had to order some longer extension cables from another seller for my application. Still a 5 star product.5Detailer s dreamCouldn t be happier with these lights in my garage. I enjoy detailing my vehicles in my conditioned garage, and needed more adequate overhead lighting. These fixtures have the perfect color temperature and brightness for what I was looking for. They really light up the space well. I installed a total of 6 lights lined up between the two bays for even illumination throughout the garage.5These are awesome!I spent some time researching LED's before I bought these. I looked around for a good deal, and these were the best I could find. I liked the 3 year warranty, the temp of the lights (5000K-nice and white), and the amount of lumens they produce. They arrived a little later than I wanted, but that was the shipper, not the seller.They were very easy to install-I hardwired all but one, and that's because the electrical wasn't in the right place for power. No problem. These are very light, and the included mounting clips work great. Total time for install, and this includes removing my old garage fixtures, prepping the pigtails for hardwiring, and installing the new lights, was about 2.5 hours. For those of you not electrically inclined, included is a brief explanation of which wire in the pigtail to connect to your house power supply. The only way these could be easier to install was in they did it themselves.Great product and I highly recommend them!!5So much better then florescent lights!So I've had a mix of 4 ft dual T8 and T12 shop lights in my garage and they really weren't putting out enough light and I needed more coverage in my 2.5 car garage. Buying more florescent lights seemed pretty expensive and I'm done with trying to recycle the tubes. I could always convert my existing fixtures to LED, but I'd still need more fixtures.These lights are 5000 lumens each- which is noticeably brighter (~25%) then a dual 4ft T8 or T12 fixture. And they're smaller and easy to daisy chain. I love the 5000K color temperature which is close to natural sun light (5800K) and provides a very "clean" look since there isn't any yellow cast.Being LED, they should also turn on immediately even when it is cold (although I'll have to wait until winter to verify) but even here in California, my old lights would sometimes take a bit to turn on.Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Hopefully they last for many years.There are only two downside:1) They are designed to mount directly to the ceiling or wood beams- and not hang. For some people that might be a big deal, but they're plenty bright and I definitely don't need them 'closer' and I prefer them higher up and out of the way.2) They're so bright that looking up and directly at the lights tends to hurt my eyes a little. Not nearly as bad as looking at the sun of course, but more uncomfortable and seeing ghosting for a few seconds. Solution: Don't look at the lights directly.5Bright, easy to install but clips and screws need improvement.In my other review I said the lights are very bright, easy to install, except the 'cheap' clips and screws. Improve those two items and you have an excellent product.UPDATE: After being installed for a little over one month, one of the strips fell but did not break. I have not installed 24" zip ties around the truss and light where the clips are to avoid the lights falling again.MAKE BETTER CLIPS TO HOLD THE LIGHTS!!!!Still and excellent product for the cost. They are very bright.4This is what LED lighting should be!We've got several garages and shops and have been slowly converting them to LED. We have 5 different brands including one from Costco. They all do the job just fine. I tried these because they snap into a bracket on the ceiling instead of hanging. Easy to install and it looks better. The lights have the LEDs set at an angle, instead of straight down, so you get more light. They are the brightest of all my lights including ones rated at the same lumens. Some other features that aren't in any of the other lights: They come with pigtails to direct wire them if you want. The plugin cables are 5' long if you go that way. They come with 20" jumpers if you want to hook lights together and not have them right next to each other, or, solid connectors to hook them right to each other. I've never seen so many options! I contacted their Customer Service with a question and they were great! Best Lights Ever!5Great lights easy to install. I read a lot of reviews for various Barina lights and settled on these because of their light output. The lights come well boxed. I bought two boxes (12 units). All of them worked out of the box. They come with 6 20 wires, 6 5 direct wires, and 6 plug in switches of fair length. Also extension cords are easy to find on amazon and very inexpensive. The clips are a frequent complaint on Amazon but the lights are very light. I tried to pull the clips down by hand and couldn t do so. Once you place the lights in the clips the lights would come out of the clips before the clips came out of the drywall.There is a protective film on the lights you should peel off.5Bright lightsI really like these lights. I bought six of them to install in my freestyle garage. What I don t like about these lights are the hangers provided by the manufacture for hanging these on the ceiling. They are flimsy little metal hangers that are held up by a screw the lights snap into these hangers. I found it difficult to put these 8 foot lights up by myself using these hangers.The worst part about these things is that I recently had one of these lights fall off my 10 foot ceiling in my garage because the light worked it s way out of the hanger and let it fall. Fortunately my vehicle was not parked under it at the time it fell. It didn t do the light fixture any good and had my vehicle been there it would ve dented it. I simply do not trust these hangers provided by the manufacture.The worst part about it is the manufacture could easily have made hangers that go over the light and attach to the ceiling and this kind of thing would never happen. The other option would be that the manufacturer could extend the plastic on each end of the fixture to include A screw hole. Either one of these options would make it very easy to put these lights up and there would be no possibility that they could fall. If the manufacturer would change the clips that hold up the lights they stay on the ceiling with no issues.4
