    Great quality POE IP camerasGreat quality cameras. Fairly simple to setup but infinite options to customize if you want. Very powerful features. Good software support. No monthly plan needed.5Storage- Both network enable and local SDI bought this product about a month ago. Here are my observations and thoughts on this camera:This camera is a professional level security camera. It has dozens of settings from SSL encryption on your http connections to SSH connectivity. I would say its main function would be to get a birds eye view of what is happening in an area without much detail.ProsFeatures- Plenty of features to fill every need you can think of. It can monitor 360 degrees, Panoramic, Double Panorama, Zone or Quad(split the camera view into four distinct zones), see attach pics. You can setup multiple user accounts with varying amounts of rights.Performance- The camera enclosure is made of metal(Not Flimsy, very hard) with a shatter proof glass(its supposed to withstand a hammer strike). Very solidly built. I place the camera on a table in my office facing up and it was able to get a good 360 view of the room. You can also minimize the whole screen so that you can zoom into a section and still maintain perspective of where in the room you are. Storage- Both network enable and local SD Video- Good contrast, able to detect items even with bright light.Configuration- Very simple to configure if all you want is an IP camera. You can also get more complex and set it up with a NVR system. It has many configuration options including time lapse, record on motion...etc you can view full specs at their site.ConsVideo- Zoom is not that great, I could not read the lettering on a large poster, 10 feet away. Definitely would not work if you are trying to see car license plates.You will have a hard time purchasing this from a store, they use installers to sale their products so finding them on Amazon is about the only option beside going through a installer.Will update in a year.4The camera itself is fine. The web based app on the camera is lackingThis camera's web page configuration is non-intuitive. I hate calling customer support, but in this case it looks like that will be the next step.It seems like this will only record in h.264. If I set the stream to MJPEG, it appears nothing gets recorded. If I set the stream to h.264 then it records fine. The problem with h.264 is most browsers do not support it. Axis has separate applications such as Camera Station (not free), which meets my needs, but I have to contact a reseller to get a license key. That is a huge pain, Axis needs to add an option on the site to buy directly!. I upgraded to the latest firmware version, and in my opinion the web interface is still garbage.This camera needs better firmware and a better webpage user interface3Awful low light, cost highVery poor, awful low light for the cost of $700+ dollars from Axis. Can't even consider recommend buying.1
