    Works Great It works great mounted on a mast above the eaves of a house. The 25ft cable was long enough to reach the receiver inside the house. It's omni-directional, so there's no need for pointing. It has good gain and provides a nice strong signal in San Francisco. 5Great compact antenna Product is similar in size to a Garmin GPS antenna. Used it on the rail of my sailboat with 1 inch rail mount from the marine store and there is enough supplied cable to make a pretty long run. No problems with reception despite the fact it is only 6 inches away from my GPS antenna. Great product and price. 5On the Pontoon Great item. This is the 2nd one I have installed on a boat. I mounted this antenna on the tour pack of my Harley Davidson Tri Glide and it works GREAT ! I also have one on my Boat. I've used the antenna that comes with the XM Sirius radio kit to only be disappointed with dropped signals. This unit grabs the satelite signal and doesn't let go so you can always listen to your radio with no interference. This antenna is very easy to install and well worth the money. 5Great Antenna While this is a great antenna for marine enviroment, the cable was too short for my application. The connector at the antenna is a TNC connector and so far I have been unable to locate an extension with TNC at each end. It looks like I'll have to get TNC to F connector adapters and use RG-6 cable to make an extension. 5Does the job Works. Still works after 5 years on the boat roof in salt water. 5Perfect antenna for satellite radio I needed a a good antenna for my portable sirius player. I drive trucks for my job and have to hook up my radio everyday and take it with me at the end of the day. This Marine Antenna was perfect in a couple ways. First the cord, The cord is thick and soft and you can roll it up easily. My main beef with the main antenna's for sirius is that the cord is more of a very very stiff and thin cable that does not roll up really and becomes a ball of a mess ! The main car or home antenna's for sirius are poorly designed. This marine antenna gives you a very nice cable to roll up and unroll at will and I modified it to a mount to clamp onto a rail on my truck. I also will say I receive a lot better reception with this antenna then the basic antenna sirius gives you for your car or home. I get exceptional use outta this antenna and I totally recommend it! I may buy another for a spare! in case they quit selling them someday. Sirius seems to go down in quality instead of up these days. 5
