Customer Reviews

Very good gloves for gardening I bought these gloves to replace some old gardening gloves I loved which finally gave up. These gloves are terrific. The palms are thick enough to protect the hands against thorns, slimy bugs :) etc, and the backs are mesh so your hands stay pretty cool while you're doing all the work. I wear a women's size 7 dress glove and I bought the Medium in these. They are just a hair too big but not enough to be a problem. Then I bought the Small, and they fit the best. So I'd go with the small if you have average or smaller size women's hands. The little finger is a bit long which makes me think these were meant for a man, but they work just fine for me (woman!). I looked on Amazon for over an hour and first bought one of those thinner pairs with the solid latex palm, but they don't hold a candle to these. Definitely worth the price. 5I wore these gloves in my landscaping business and in my own garden. I have been wearing these gloves for about 25 years and find them ideal for a range of gardening chores. I rely upon them for blackberry removal projects. Thorns will penetrate them if you grab tightly onto a blackberry cane, as if to try to pull it out of the ground, but for simply picking up the canes and transporting them, holding with a light grip, this glove is more than adequate. They last a very long time. I just bought a new pair to replace one that has a finger tip worn completely through. I can't tell you how long I have owned that pair, having bought them at a local nursery, but I will say I have only the vaguest recollection of buying them so I would guess it's been at least five years, or more. While not the most efficient way to pull small weeds (bare fingers give you a better grip) they work fine for the more substantial weeds the ones you promise yourself each year that you will catch earlier "next year."The price is delightful, the gloves are a comfortable old friend buy yourself a pair. You will not regret it. 5Perfect for small hands and to rip up carpet Wow - these gloves are OUTSTANDING. My husband and I took on the fun task of ripping up 1,000 sq. feet of carpet - it was dirty and filled with staples, tack strips, tack staples in the stairs - you name it. My gloves caught on sharp nails and staples hundres of time during the two days we worked on this and not once did my gloves puncture. In addition, I bought the small and they fit perfectly - no bulkiness that makes gloves annoying or too long fingertips that get in the way of doing work. I highly recommend this product - my hands (and manicure) stayed great after a full 20 hour work load! 5The Case so Nice, I Bought it Twice! I looked around for the best case for this phone for hours and hours, I knew I wanted and needed a diary case that protected the screen, but most of those cases simply glued a cheap tpu case on an arguably nice leather or faux leather cover. What's the worst, the vast majority of these covered up the power button and volume rocker, and often had slits for cards I didn't need, and concerned me in regards to contact scuffs on the screen. My wife has a case almost exactly similar to this, on her phone, and I have a tablet case for my Nexus 7 which is nearly identical to this. The interior is nice felt, which doesn't make me concerned that it will scuff the screen, and the faux leather wraps around the back and moulds to the corners of the phone in a seamless and elegant way, leaving the sides and top and bottom of the phone open to access while protecting them from drops.I am confident that my phone is protected by this case 5Perfect balance between reusable and disposable. I work at a job that requires heavy lifting and involves a lot of dirt and grease. So, I need a glove that has a good grip AND is cheap enough to be disposable. These gloves are both. I will use a pair of gloves anywhere from 2 days, to 2 months, depending on my work load. I usually end up throwing away the gloves because they are dirty and covered in grease, which has lessened the grip. Sometimes, I've worn the rubber through to the fabric. I wouldn't want a long-lasting pair of gloves for my job, because they would get so nasty. These gloves are the perfect balance between long-lasting and disposable. If you were using them for gardening or light work, I'm sure they would last longer. The rubber side of the gloves is waterproof. The back side is a fabric weave, so dirt and water CAN get through.I am a woman with average size hands. I ordered a small. They fit perfectly snug. 5Amazing for painting walls and ceilings. These gloves enable me to paint walls and ceilings for three times longer than when I wear no gloves. They protect my skin from the wear of gripping the paint roller hour after hour. They enable me to get so much more painting done.Their rubber surfaces keep paint off my hands. However, their cloth backs allow all but the smallest paint drips to leak through to my hands. This is a fine trade off to get the ventilation that the cloth provides, preventing my hands from getting sweaty like they would in latex gloves.Store the gloves in a temperature controlled environment. I left mine in excessive heat for a few months and the rubber became sticky. For any task which requires constant or frequent gripping with your hands, these gloves will enable you to work longer and much more comfortably. 5Very Close to the official hat at 1/4 the price! This hat is a great deal. At 1/4 the price of the official Trump hat it looks almost identical, but fits like a real hat. The stitching is good. The letters may be a tad bit smaller than the official hat though, but if they are its hard to tell really. It has the same rope as the official hat, and there is support in back of the lettering so the hat doesn't collapse and it keeps its shape. its also light and breathable. There is a made in China tag inside the hat, so that may bother some of you..I looked at a ton of these hats on Amazon and I think this is the best official Trump hat replica for the cheap price. 5Practical, inexpensive option with good fit I have sensitive hands, so when I clean, I must have gloves or my fingers will get chapped and painful. My hands are also very small, and usually even gloves that are sized small are too large; these fit me perfectly, with only a little extra space at the tips of a few fingers.I bought several pairs of gloves, and these are my favorites. They were an after-thought, and I didn't expect that they would help very much. Now I stand corrected! The gloves have a waterproof coating on the blue side, which keeps the moisture away from my fingers. But on the other side, they are stretchy, which allows more flexibility in my movements, particularly when I need dexterity. In the past when I needed to really scrub an area or reach for a small object, I had to remove my gloves. I no longer have to do that, thanks to these gloves. They are also an inexpensive option for women needing work gloves. 5Package Handlers Take a Ganders at These For many months I had been searching for a work glove that could handle my work load. You see I am a package handler for a very large shipping operation (no free ads on my time...) and I must put my hands on at least 3,000 shipments per shift. The rubber on these gloves is put in all the right places and is has a tread-like grip something like on a tire.I notice that handlers also need some protection in that space between the thumb and the pointer finger. These gloves provide that as well. One pair lasts me about 2-3 weeks before the rubber wears all the way down. Obviously they are useless without the rubber because then they don't grip anything.Another suggestion is to get them on the tight side, like one size down. I think they might be cut a little big. 4These Atlas gloves are by far my favorite gardening, yard work These Atlas gloves are by far my favorite gardening, yard work, and general purpose work gloves. They work and fit great, plus are really durable. Between home use and working at a garden center I have tried almost every type of glove available. They have a thicker layer of grippy material that is textured and the glove itself is made from a tightly weaved fabricy material. I have small hands and usually get a small or extra small in men's size and I've noticed with many other gloves that the finger length is too short for my hands which lessens dexterity making it difficult and awkward to use straining the hand and forearm. These fit well and have finger length that is not too short or too long. After 2 1/2 years of weekly to daily use during the warmer months of the year(I live in Wisconsin), it's almost time to replace them, more so because they get wet and I leave them in the dark, warm garage so they are gross and less because they are worn out. There are a couple of small tears in the grippy material and one hole on the back of one hand from it getting caught on some sharp metal. Pretty remarkable as far as I'm concerned considering how much they get used and how poorly others gloves have performed. They hold up to a lot of wear and tear. No problems with the grippy material peeling off or the glove material loosening and stretching. I have used these gloves for weeding, planting, raking, shoveling/digging, pruning, trimming branches, splitting and moving firewood, cutting and trimming the grass, moving furniture, and other various projects and they have worked great for all. 5
