Customer Reviews

Cant beat it We purchased this to use in a machine shop and I think it's going to be a good one. I had a $100 TTC one at the place I used to work at and it vibrated and was junk. This one is silky smooth and is doing good. My only complaint is the collet is a little on the tight side but it might be to reduce vibration. 5Zero issues using this to port/polish my cylinder head. ... Zero issues using this to port/polish my cylinder head. Make sure to feed in a few drops of oil in the tiny allen hole OR 4-5 drops in the hose and run for 15-20 seconds every couple days otherwise it's been problem free. 5If you dont need instructions, a nice litle tool There are NO INSTRUCTIONS or user guidelines included , which would be most helpful- This is my first pneumatic tool. Learning curve is not steep tho- Changing burs is a bit awkward at first- need to use two chucks to change out burs. There is no info on care and cleaning of the tool, what oil should be used and how to use it/how often. There is no info on what burs should be used for what application- the diamond tip burs I purchased separately were worthless.not sure they was even diamond coated. So it was hard to rate the tool given issues with the burrs- they did not do the job and I had to stop work every couple of minutes to change out bur. very frustrating.any suggestions on diamond tip burs to carve stone is appreciated.Overall, a nice little tool but more info and instructions would help alot.Using slick lube helps with heat.Contacting manufacturere directly was somewhat helpful to answer questions. 3worth every penny and more Great for the price, gets a little warm up tiwardsnthe head, but not uncomfortably so. A little fast for cheap 1/8th bits, but any decent dremel bit will work even better with one of these, also they are extreenly versatile, can go from engraving to carving to cutting to grinding in no time at all, and does all of them with gusto. Easier to control then an electric and takes a lot of pressure to torque stall at 105 psi. Eats quite a bit of air though, but totally and completely worth the hassle of an air compressor. Makes less noise than a electric rotary tool to, and you can hold it like a pencil for better control and acurracy of use, weighs almost nothing, but could really use a longer air hose than the one shipped with it. Packaging from the factory isn't great, just a cardboard box. Best part of the packaging in my opinion is that it includes a parts diagram for the tool 5Works great I've been using this with small carbide burrs and stones on steel and aluminum. It's obviously only good for small areas but it works good and has no obvious runout. Only complaint is the collet not releasing when you loosen the nut. This is somewhat common on die grinders but this one is a little worse than normal. Just give it a few hard taps with something and it usually gives up. 5Don't Waste Your Money ! This was a horrible little tool, it leaks air out the back hose of the pencil, so of course you cannot get it to stay at the proper psi, it drains right down and drains the compressor. No tightening will fix it. So disappointed, I had high hopes for this tool. 1Cylinder porting Worked fine Used this tool to port a chainsaw cylinder, speed regulate fine. Spindle/ bearing have a little run out but not enough to effect my use. The Tool ran smooth and no issues with holding several different 3mm burrs or 3mm diamond bits. I did have an issue with mine starting at first but rotated the spindle a couple times and it worked fine. I did give it a shot of oil before using...so? I never had anymore issue with it running when I start it after that, even with the speed turned down. I had no issues with the hoses or leaks. I've read several reviews prior to purchase, I have no complains and mine works . I also run mine with a foot pedal control too and at low speed. I've only used mine a couple times so for what its worth. 4Great I had a cheap harbor freight pencil grinder. It broke in 3 weeks. I've had this gem 4 months. AWESOME great power and works great 5Out performs the $500+ work turbine grinder. This grinder out performs the turbine pencil grinders priced at $500+ at my work. I like the adjustable speed control. As a welder, I would like to see a more durable air line. 4Holds an 1/8" bit and is air powered. Has an actual 1/8" collet and works awesome, don't let the lower 56,000 rpm vs. the others 70,000 plus rpm fool you, as carbide bits last longer at slower rpm's than higher. This tool actually grunts and works well, and doesn't chip the carbide cutters like the 70,000 rpm tools do, yet you can apply more pressure and actually cut and remove material faster due to it's higher torque.I use this tool to actually drill out the broken exhaust studs in Caterpillar heavy equipment, and is awesome for reaming out the Caterpillar infamous Taperlock studs, and holds up to anything Snap-On or others are using, and for only $39.00 5
