Color of tile per box is drastically different and there really is no way of hiding itDelivery went well, but when we opened the 3 boxes we ordered, we noticed that two of the boxes had a slight warm tint, and the third box had a very cool tint. They were so different in color that you could see the cool square sections in the backsplash, even if you mix them up. It's very noticeable and looks terrible. I don't think there would have been any way to fix this short of cutting and separating each of the small individual tiles and mixing them all together. There needs to be better QA check on the tint, making sure the tint is consistent per order.3Shimmering Tan, Grey and White Tiles I used this as facing for China cabinet support legs. We hung the top cabinet to create countertop on the bottom. We put the mother of pearl tiles on the 4 sides of each leg. They reflect the light beautifully and they match the tan and grey in the marble. 5Make it special! My contractor made a suggestion that I could use mother of pearl shell for the kitchen and I was very happy with the result. 5Classy transformationUsed these tiles as a back splash for my kitchen, they are stunning! Easy to install5Consider your designer look firstI highly recommend you spend the $10 and order a sample pack. This was my least favorite selection from the internet, but my first choice once I saw it in real life. Plus I loved the fact that I wouldn't need edging with this choice. The area I wanted to cover was mostly open space that would have needed edging otherwise.I do wish the sample pack size would be the same size as what one is going to buy. At least they had 2 samples of this one in white and one is the another color. It was a math problem going from a 4" sample to a 12" tile to figure out quantity to order. I ended up making a template of my entire area to do the math, and then used that to lay out the tile before doing the project.It's easy to install. By definition mother of pearl has a lot of variation which masks my own DIY mistakes. After installing what I wanted to, I discovered that I had enough left over to add a single row to the entire area, making the back splash higher. This went on so inconspicuously that no one can tell it's an "extra" row. The thing is, I have one 12" square that doesn't line up to the next sheet, and if I had realized I would have extra I would have pulled it off and tossed it. As it is, so be it.My biggest problem and totally my own mistake, is that I was going for an American country look in the kitchen, i.e. Magnolia, Joanna Gains. The walls are shiplap I painted white, one area is wall papered with a beautiful grey check, I painted the trim wood light grey, and the floor is a light distressed wood. I have a modern over-sized wood clock on the wall. This tile does not match that modern country look at all. I didn't see that until it was all done. It looks funny against the ship lap and especially doesn't match the grey check wall paper. It's more an upscale or contemporary look than a modern country look. I wish I had gone with generic mosaic white tile to match my look and save money. So consider your designer look, if you have one, before going with this choice.4Piece of cake to install,especially since no grout is needed. Simply gorgeous on bathroom walls 5Beautiful Backslash Tile!Love this backsplash! I was a little apprehensive when I ordered it, I was afraid it would be way too shiny and sparkly. But I was pleasantly surprised. It does have a nice wow factor to it and it changes how it looks in different light. I put it next to an arctic white quartz countertop and taupe cabinets and all the colors that were in the tile backsplash blended in with all the colors in my kitchen. It brought out all the colors I needed it too.I watched my husband install it lol, but it went up very quickly and easily. It was easy to trim and cut, they are 12 inch squares with a mesh on the back to hold it together and it is thinner than most backsplash. You don t have to grout the tile, but I probably will go in and grout it with a soft white to fill in a few of the little tiny areas where (because it s natural mother of pearl shell tile) there s a teeny bit of a gap if you get up close. But I m still just so pleased with this backsplash!5Yes, Yes, Yes!I did my back splash with these. They are easy to install. I was able to cut some pieces with scissors. Others I scored with a razor blade and cracked it off with wire plyers. The squares are small enough that not much cutting was required. The best part is that no grout is required. Amazon has the best prices on them. They shipped well protected. Not one was damaged. They are lovely.5I cut between the tiles and my design snapped together like a puzzle so tightly that it was hard to ...For anyone who is worried about dirt getting in the gaps between the individual tiles on each sheet I want to reassure them that they are very precisely cut with no gap between them. I purchased these tiles in both colors for a fireplace surround with the intention of creating a pattern. I cut between the tiles and my design snapped together like a puzzle so tightly that it was hard to get them back apart to glue to the surround. A year later I can't see that any dust has worked it's way in, even where I did my cutting.5Easy to install and so sparkly!My mother and I decided on a "coastal glam" decor for her home renovation, and this fits that bill to a tee! I was very impressed by how easy it was to install (I am only mildly handy) and since it's 1 inch tiles, getting it snugged up in most areas was fairly easy. I only have a few areas that need cuts. One word of advice, don't assume your counter top is level. I made the mistake of leveling using the counter top as a guide for the back splash, and as I tiled across, there was a very slightly growing gap at the bottom of the tiles. It was not very noticeable, especially after we filled in with some white grout filler, but the perfectionist will want to break out the level and mark the wall. I was expecting the tile to be as fragile as glass, maybe even more so, but it surprised me with durability. I fumbled it several times, including picking the box up in such a way that the tiles slid right out and onto the floor! Thankfully all were perfectly fine. If you want or need a little sparkle in your life, you will LOVE these tiles!!!5Beautiful tile!!Product looks a little more silver on amazon but actually is more white. Exactly what I wanted. Looks amazing!!5Easy to use and worth every penny!Edgeless tiles made for quick and easy install. We used MusselBound behind it and it worked perfectly. For the seams that we had slight spacing to, we used caulk to smooth the lines. To cut, we scored with the utility blade and a dremmel for longer cuts. The backside netting was easy to cut too.Next project we will definitely use this on: Our kitchen backsplash.Edit: Added photos for the kitchen backsplash and threshold of the fireplace. Success.5Beautiful and easy to install!I ordered these for an accent wall behind our bathroom mirror. I love them! They are beautiful and were very easy to install. I used Readyset adhesive with a trowel and then filled in any noticeable seems with white calking. Note: if you need to cut the sheets, unless you are cutting on a seam you will need a wet saw to cut the actual tiles.5
