Customer Reviews

Excellent but not sturdyExtremley, essentially unlimited feild of view. Top quality clarity, anti glare, UV protecton and polerization; Optical clarity and coatings lead to Oakley like visability.Good adjustability and fit, I have a huge head and face and had no problem. I do not have a small face or head, so if you are average or small, they may be a little lose but still servicable.Very light weight consteuction, yet they passed the "Drunkenley step on them falling into bed" test, one lens popped free but was easily replaced.Very good ventilation and anti fog capabilities. I sweat A LOT, and even through perspiration and extreme changes in temprature and humidity, they did not fog enough to be noticeable.Kept eye region nice, warm and protected from wind, cold, and harsh sun reflecting off snow.Foam padding did not soak thru with sweat, nor did it freeze solid. It is not the most comfortable padding job ever, nor is it the best looking. Goggles became noticeable after about an hour, uncomfortable after about 3.Lens tint is good, almost perfect: Dark enough to keep my vampiric, light and hangover sensative eyes from hurting during bright daylight over fresh snow coverage, yet are light enough you can still wear them indoors and under certain circumstances at night and see reasonabally well.Did not test for dust/mud, but these goggles are so generously ventilated (they have a series of discreet slits up both sides) that im sure they will not keep out dust for long, although they did well keeping snow out.Probabally not the best saftey glasses for airsoft, paintball, shooting, or blowing stuff up. They are technically fully sealed, and the lenses are thick and sturdy, but the frame is not.Love em, worth 2x listed price easy4Super Colorful Fly Eyes -Check customer photoI like them. I'm going to attache a photo of theArcOne G-FLY-B1202,ArcOne G-HOL-A1501 Hollywood, &ArcOne G-FLY-A1101 'The Fly' Safety Goggles, along withthe "Camping Hiking 18650 Rechargeable 300 Lumen CREE LED Headlamp" attached tothe "Chaos -CTR Howler Multi Tasker Pro Windproof Balaclava, Black", all in one pic.The Fly B1202 is super colorful as you can see in the customer pictures gallery. Besides being functional, I didn't realize how cool goggles can look. haha I dig em.I flat out love them all actually. I gave 5 stars all around.I started out with a concern for eye protection against windy sand, sun, insects, and ended up getting three different pairs from ArcOne. They offer a quality I've never seen in goggles from such a price. I do suggest these glasses.5Great for cosplay!Got them for my Radical Edward cosplay. They are really comfortable and will work great! I don't think I would recommend them as safety goggles. They have large open cents on the sides. They are very dark so they would maybe work for going outside at night or being out in the snow at night. The lenses don't really look like the picture. They are mirrored. They are green tinted when you look through them but just looked mirrored. They came with a nice soft draw string bag to store them. And they are definitely "fly" eye shaped. They are huge but are super fun. 4Lots of funThey look cool and keep wood chips out of my eyes. They do see to fog just a little thought.UPDATE: Now having had these for a while I am even more pleased with this purchase. Added together with a few other accessories They have helped me maintain "social distancing" which is very important. Now when I go shopping I often get the whole isle to myself and more than once an escort as I shop.5Used for Welding I got these for acetylene welding since they are the 5 shade and they work really well. They're very comfortable, no digging into cheeks or nose. The large lenses give a wider range of view than a lot of the goggles that jut out farther and have opaque sides. More of a green tinge to the lenses which just took a little getting used to when setting the flame but no big deal. Due to the welding grade lenses I would think these would be too dark to wear out and about on a sunny day but maybe a migraine would change my mind.Only slight downsides: I did have a spark make its way into the side vents when I was using a grinder so they aren't a good sub for safety goggles when grinding or cutting. Also, the elastic band does take some adjusting since it aligns more with the ears instead of above them which meant fussing with where to put my ponytail which doesn't really earn me cool points when welding. 4I love these! They are perfect for my catwoman costumeI love these! They are perfect for my catwoman costume. They are fully adjustable. They are also oddly flexible in the middle. Not a bad thing though. Also they are like red polarized. I'm sure in different lighting that would look blue/green. And from extreme angles the lenses look green, but they are mostly red- orange - yellow with a little bit of green around the edges looking at them head-on.I love them, just what I was looking for.5Uncomfortable without modificationPossibly my families nose is the problem. I bought my own lens when Dad got his. We both complained our noses hurt quickly wearing these, but after some sanding to reduce the thickness of the nose bridge we are much happier with the lenses. The next comment is these are more of a sunglass tint than the protection of a welders mask, I avoid using these as eye protection for welding.4A great buy at a great bargain! This is the best pair of oxy-acetylene goggles I have ever owned. Full field of view range with no fog-up. Even when using them outside in the 95F humid weather. The strap is wide, which requires to it to go over the tops of your ears for the goggles to fit against your face properly. As long as the strap isn't adjusted too tight, I didn't notice that after a short adjustment period. The lenses are BIG! They are well named as "The Fly", and have a large surface. They come with a soft bag for storage.I will definitely buy other pairs.5I would buy again and again! I want to get my complaint out of the way first; the foam used as a seal between the face and goggles doesn't last very long. It crumbles apart and falls away. Fortunately, this doesn't affect the manner in which I use them. These goggles get comments everytime I wear them. People want to try them on. I've used them at Burning Man and Carnaval in Rio. They are perfect for those who have sensitive eyes because they are DARK! I would buy again and again. ArcOne contact me if you want a reseller in Brasil! 4Not as pictured by seller, make sure you check customer photosFor whatever reason the seller's picture shows green/yellow lenses that are slightly oblong/oval. Take care to look at the other listing for these in clear and look at all the customer photos. These are round lenses, very big, and they are orange/red mirrors. It says all this in the description and I was aware of it but I still feel like they misrepresent it with their photo and that's shady.I can't believe these are actually safety rated so I'm not sure why they market them like that either. They'd probably keep *most* sand and dust out of your eyes if you wore them to the beach on a windy day. Most not all. There isn't foam around the entirety of the cups so there end up being sizable gaps. They look like giant bug eyes, will make a decent costume accessory, can probably replace sunglasses for hiking if you hike in dry dusty areas (I do, that's what I hope to use them for). But because they have hardly any foam they aren't that comfortable and the fairly stiff nosepiece leads me to believe they'll break within a year. I'll update my review after using them if they turn out better than expected but so far they're kind of disappointing.3Got these for driving I got the darker version of these goggles for driving but I'm finding they're too dark. So I looked further and found 4 versions. I like the fit of them so much I now have all four. These are going in my car to use for driving when I don't want to play with shifting sun but need to see better than the darker ones will allow. The lenses are a bit darker than standard sunglasses and have a mirrored finish. They aren't polarized. I don't think any of these Fly goggles are. But they definitely block that sneaky ray that peaks over the side edge of any other pair of sunglasses. Love that! And they fit comfortably over my glasses. Don't even feel them. You may not get that result, but they fit over my husband's glasses too. He said the corners tapped the lenses but the goggles looked like they seated on his face. They're safety goggles too, so I'll be using them for yard work and projects when I need to be outside in the sun. Great eyewear for the money. 5Don't if you actually need safety glassesSo first, about the seller ArcOne. I was interested in buying as I work in manufacturing, where we need to constantly be wearing eyeprotection that meet OSHA standards. In this product description says that it has a Z87 safety rating and that it's stamped on the goggles, they are not and it does not have said stamping. Second their website where i tried to get a better description was shoty at best with minimum content, let alone description of their products. Now the product I recieved, I ordered smoke and got polarized, whever no biggie. Second I noticed how light the goggles were, but flimsy feeling. It feels like a good impact will crack both the housing and lens. I then noticed the nose bridge which I was hoping that it would be a firm rubber substance, but it turns out it was rigid plastic. I put them on but I could barely stand wearing them for 5 minutes, let alone my 11 hour shift. I will be returning these asap as these feel like $3 goggles.1Burning Man 2013 Daytime Goggles.Much love for these at Burning Man 2013. Very comfortable, good for long periods of wear. Strap adjust easily, and lens have a good face seal and feel. Great sun protection for eyes as well, I will buy more for next year for sure.PROs: Great protection, good fit, great as sun glasses.Cons: lens scratch easily, keep in cloth bag when not in use to protect lens.I would definitely Recommend this product to any Burner looking for some good eye wear.5
