This flashlight is made of durable aluminum alloy casing, skid-proof & water resistant designed. Adjustable focus range for different usage, support zoom in-out. Mini size and steel body clip, 3 light modes: high/low/strobe (gently click the button to change mode and press the button to turn OFF/ON).
Different modes apply to different situations, for example, when you need to send signal for help, you can choose the strobe mode. If you want to find something without attracting any attention, the low mode is a good choice. Powered by 1 x AA battery or 1 x 14500 battery (not included). If you power the flashlight with 14500 battery, it will be brighter than use AA battery. But please install the 14500 battery in the right direction (the positive pole of the battery need to toward the bulb), otherwise the flashlight may be damaged.

These are great little lights These are great little lights. I originally bought them because my wife likes to check our infant while he's sleeping at night and the red light, while bright, is a lot better and doesn't wake him up like a white flashlight does. I've found all kinds of uses for them and basically have them stashed throughout the house. The red light is perfect for use when you're coming from compete dark and will be going back to complete dark. It doesn't wake you up or shrink your pupils. My only complaint, and why it got 4 stars, not 5 stars, is because the inside is too large for a standard AA battery. The battery will shift within the light and lose contact = no light. This is easily remedied by wrapping the battery a couple of times with masking tape. It'd be better if there was a small plastic sleeve/tube that was inside the light to fill the gap around the battery and keep it in place. Otherwise it's super durable, very useful and a great value for the price. It's nice to be able to switch the beam size from flood to spot and have bright/dim/flash options. Great little light. 4Why wouldn't you make the strobe light a separate setting? It's nice and bright, but in the name of Zeus, why wouldn't you make the strobe light a separate setting? Give it a toggle or a slider switch somewhere? The way it is, every third time you turn on the flashlight, it goes into seizure inducing mode. It got me to the point where I just cover the light with my palm before turning it on, so that if it's strobing, I can turn it off again without being too annoyed. 2Great size for camera photogs who need light for setup These are perfect size. They will be used for astrophotography, setting tripod and camera settings without bright white light.I read complaining about too bright but i dont see this being a problem in the time i have had to experiment. The low setting with a narrow zoom will provide pretty directed light. I will update if it becoms a problem while in zero light conditions in the field.I also saw complaining about the mode being hard to use. I think the mode switch works pretty well. Simply dont press the button all the way until it clicks and you can cycle through the modes in 1-2 seconds then lock the mode in place. Easy. 5Very small and compact, but bright Really pleased with this purchase overall. Got the 3 pack and sent on to my sister, and she also really likes it.I got mine for night time trips to the bathroom, and didn't want to use white light that would disturb my sleep. Great size for travel also.I do agree with other reviews that mentioned the annoyance of not being able to set it on either the brightest setting, or less bright setting so that it's already set on that when you turn it on, and particularly not having the flashing lights come on every 3rd time you turn it on. That should be it's own seperate setting. It should always default to the same setting whenever you initially turn it on and then require rapid clicks to get it to the other settings.The other issue is that it requires on AA battery, but the fit of the battery is a bit loose since the diameter is a little bit bigger than a snug fit with the diameter of the battery, as one person noted you could just wind some electrical tape around the battery so it fits more snuggly and isn't moving off of the connection. I haven't had a problem with it, but I could see how some would. It is a nice feature that you can twist the outer part of the head of the flashlight and change the width of the light, to more focused and concentrated or wider and more diffuse.Otherwise it appears to be sturdy and well constructed and the flashlight has a small clip on it, for clipping it into a pocket or something similar. 4Good but not very bright. Torn wether to give this three or four stars because my complaint is based on comparison to the white version of the same light. This is a solid product, but not nearly as bright as the white version and more expensive than the five pack of white ones. I also don't understand why every led flashlight maker seems to think you need a strobe light. I wish I could just get high and low. 4Great customer service from AR-happy-online One out of the three lights I received didn't work so I contacted the seller: AR-happy-online. I sent an email to them on June 17, 2018, informing them of the problem and was surprised to have received a reply within 2 hours--I don't know how typical that response time is.They informed me in their response that they'd send out a replacement right away and today, June 30, 2018, I received a working replacement light.If my experience is any guide I suspect that there shouldn't be any worries about getting what you paid for from AR-happy-online.I don't have a means to measure the intensity of the lights, but I'd characterize them as "bright". The three modes worked on all 3 lights, and assuming they last a few years I'd say you can't beat the value. 5and the red led light is great in the woods for the price, you have to give it a try. I work as security at a haunted house, and the red led light is great in the woods, to keep from blinding everyone. out of the three, one is completely dead, new batteries, and swapping switches did not fix it. the second one is hit and miss on turning on, swapping switches again, did not fix it. the third does not get used as often, but seems to still work. the lights are a solid build, for housing, etc, the adjustable beam is decent, and when they work, they are great. for a small, cheap beater light, you will use for a few weeks a year, sure get them. if you need a reliable light, I'd really have to say you should look elsewhere.*******UPDATE*******after my initial review, the seller reached out to me. They offered a full refund, as well as replacement lights. This seller does appear to out for 100% customer satisfaction, and to me, that is what is important with a store. sometimes a product is just bad out of the box, the seller has offered to test the items before shipping, this time, and did not even want the defective ones returned. I will keep them in mind for additional purchases. 5Good general use light for situations requiring red light. Perfect for watching nesting sea turtles. Perfect for night time nesting sea turtle watching, which was reason for purchase. I didn't want my children handling the more expensive lights around water and sand, so gave one to each kid and kept one for myself. It was an excellent decision. These are hardly noticeable when in placed in pocket, or can be clipped to clothes without being a distraction. I noticed some mentioned they use them for stargazing. I would probably choose a light less bright for stargazing. It beats using a white light hands down. Eyes still need adjustment time after using this light, but it probably only 5 minutes or less, instead of the usual 20-30 minutes when using a bright white light. If using for hunting/observing animals at night time, while these will work for animals several feet away, you'd probably want to go brighter. If you do go brighter, understand time for eyes to completely readjust will be longer. Looking for something to navigate a dark house or yard at night, these are perfect. I would say these are perfect for general/multi-purpose use in situations requiring use of red light. We've dropped them on pavement, in sand, tossed around in boxes and they still work perfectly. I have assorted lights for different uses, red lights of 3 different intensities. Due to the small size and general usefulness of these, it is the one light I always carry with me. I do agree with other buyers about the way the different modes are set being less than ideal. I would prefer a twist switch at base of lens head to switch between modes, and keeping the switch in current location for on/off only. Then again, these are $6 lights, I didn't pay $100+ for these like I did for the ones I have with the twisting mode switch. For the price, doubt if you will find a better general purpose red light. These are comparable to red lights being offered by other sellers for considerably more. 5Well made and not super bright. I like these much better than head lamps. Was on a photo trip to do aurora and these other characters had bright head lamps that hit my face and also lit up the foreground of my pictures. Use these instead. Shine only when needed on what you need to see. Memorize your camera buttons to minimize any flash settings.I met my wife hiking in the Santa Monica mountains at night with the Sierra Club. We never used flashlights as our eyes adjusted. Anytime a newcomer came on the hike, we had to disabuse them of using flashlights. With a flashlight, the eyes lost their night vision and could only see where the camera shines a few feet away. Red light is much better at preserving night vision, but off is always better. 5Great little flashlight I bought 3 of these in red LED for night hunting, primarily for walking out to the blind and for reading without destroying night vision. I purchased separately 14500 batteries and put one in each of the lights. The first thing you notice is the light is brighter with the 14500 battery than with the AA. I like the ability to focus the light but I used it primarily as low intensity light to illuminate a walking path and provide ambient light inside a hunting blind. I found the flashlights worked flawlessly and I like the small size that makes it easy to toss into a console or daypack. I put one in the glove box, one in a bug out bag and one in my hunting daypack. I do not see these being useful as a weapon light due to the low light intensity and limited range. 5
