which is very annoying. With this I just stuck the wireless door ...I bought this for my senior mom. Being that she has hard of hearing I would have to knock loudly and yell for her at the bedroom door, which is very annoying . With this I just stuck the wireless door bell to the outside of her bedroom door and the lights let her know that someone is at her door. Very cool and handy product. 5Very Fine Purchase.I am so very pleased with my colorful, musical doorbell. Being very hard of hearing, I was missing visitors and deliveriesNow I am not, as without the hearing aids I still am aware of visitors due to the colorful flashing. This item is very small and attractive. I can take it with me from area to area so I do not miss a thing.Anpress 7 was a very wise purchase. Recommended highly. 5It'll definitely catch your visual attention, but...I've not tried it with the sound turned on, that's not what I wanted it for. but it is definitely bright and looks like it flashes for 30-45 seconds. However there are two concerns about it (which is why I didn't give it five stars), one is that there are no mounting holes for either the doorbell button or the receiver. There IS one piece of double stick foam in the package about the size of the button, but I don't think it will hold in the heat and wet outside. And as far as the receiver goes, I can't decide what to do about it. Also the instructions say that there is one "AAA" battery in the package for the button. None was to be found in mine. Whatever, I always have plenty of those laying around. 3Very good at getting attention, but de-sync's occassionally.I'm severely HH (hard of hearing, H down twice hard.. (that's an ASL sign) :-) )Works great! Definitely gets your attention. Flashes multiple different colors and has many chimes to choose from. I leave it on the "flash and sound" mode and set the sound high enough that a hearing person can hear it at the door and know that it is activating. (and they don't resort to pounding on your door.. poor door!)I own 3 of these, I lost the door-bell clicker for the 1st one when I moved, and the 2nd one just wouldn't stay "stuck" on the wall. (probably my environment up here on the mountains, I'll use some adhesive on next one..) After falling off 7 or so times it finally broke. The 3rd one I'm just pulling out of the box.My experience with this product -- occassionally the signal seems to drop off on the product. You'll press the button and the button will light up, but the ringer will not go off. To get around this -- I press the button once in a while when going in and out of the room, at least once a day. The issue can still happen but is rare.The cause seems to be one of the signal becoming unsync'd over time if it's not used. This behavior was seen in both of the first two. (I'm just opening the 3rd, probably same issue..)To rectify -- pop the battery in and out on one or both sides. Try taking the ringer close to the button and hit the button.For the price and functionality, excellent deal. Just that de-syncing thing loses 1 star for me..Come on Anpress... fix it and put out a version 2!! I'll pay $5 more for a proper one!3 modes of op -- Flash, Flash and Sound, Sound Only (?? don't get that for Deaf / HH people..) 4Be Warned! You Get What You Pay For!At first, this product was exactly what I needed since I work from home. A doorbell that could be both silent but let me know when someone had pressed the ringer and while not clocked in act as a normal doorbell. Unfortunately, this lasted for less than 2 weeks. It started with the ringer at the door when pressed would light up as if it was signaling the light/sound box to turn on but yet no sound or light would be produced. That moved to the ringer at the door not lighting up and the sound being off on the receiver and yet no light would be produced but a doorbell chime that would wake the dead would suddenly play. I reached out to Amazon "Customer Service", and I use that term loosely, who advised to contact the seller/manufacturer since I was just outside of my 30-day return window. The phone number and website provided weren't even in the same country as the actual seller/manufacturer. After finally researching myself and finding the correct company my emails have gone unanswered. The product is cheaply made which is another downfall in my eyes. I would not recommend this item for anyone. Go with a slightly higher priced item and I'm sure you'll be happy. 1Perfect for HOHBoth my parents are hard of hearing. My mom is at least 85% deaf in both ears and my dad isnt far behind her that s to combat. When they moved into their new house the door bell that was on it said tink so low the dogs didn t even acknowledge it! I got this one for them since no one knows how to knock like they mean it apparently. It rings LOUD which is exactly what they need, loud, long, and flashing. It s nice you can carry the part that rings and flashes into any room you want. It would be better if the button part of the button wasn t white. Any color would be great so people could see it. I had to take a permeant marker to theirs to try and make sure people saw and used it. 5USE IT FOR TEEN KIDSI LOVE THIS. OUR TEENAGE SON WOULD BE PLAYING ONE OF HIS VIDEO GAMES-WITH THE HEADPHONES ON. WE GOT TIRED OF YELLING OR GOING INTO HIS ROOM TO TALK TO HIM.. WE BOUGHT THIS AND PUT IT IN HIS ROOM. I PLAY THE MUSIC PRETTY LOUD WHEN OUT THERE, SO THIS IS GREAT. 5It works very well - as promisedMy 96 year old neighbor went completely deaf with a ruptured eardrum. She could not hear the doorbell. I was skeptical about this, because it was so inexpensive, but ordered it anyway. The copy made no mention of WiFi or BlueTooth, neither of which she has in her home. It is very cheaply made. I was so careful with the casing when putting in batteries (3 AA's and 1 AAA) because I was sure I was going to crack it. The only way I could see to mount the door bell was with adhesive velcro, which I had on hand, and which worked just fine. It works! She loves it!, What can I say? That is why I gave this product 4 stars. I doubt it is going to last very long, but at that price, I will order another one if I need to. 4Works great for our purposeThis little doorbell works perfectly for our needs. We don't use it for it's intended purpose. My teenager keeps the receiver with him, and I keep the button with me on the other side of the house. When I need him for something, I "page" him with the button and it saves me having to yell across the house and wake up the baby. The device works great for us, and the price was right. 5When it worked it was perfect.When it worked it was perfect. I purchase the doorbell on Jan. 2017. Its December 2017 and it stopped working. I took the cover off the switch side and the button is switching intermittently with the cover off. My conclusion is that the button has failed. This may be due to overuse. The doorbell is positioned at the entrance of my office cubical. When I use my headphones my co-workers don't have to do the potty dance behind me to get my attention. I will try to fix, if not I will buy another one because it is inexpensive and its the only one that has the option to only light up. 3
