Customer Reviews

Well Made Kneepads They're comfortable, but kind of big on me, as expected from a one-size-fits-all product. Wish they made a slightly smaller size. They match OCP colors. Seems quite durable, lasted me 2 weeks in the field on very rough terrain and only got scratched up, no frays or anything on the stitching. 4JUST DON T WORK! These are adjusted with plastic, friction, slide buckles, that absolutely do not hold! Put these on, fitted right, walk 5 minutes, the straps start loosening, and the knee pads slide down so far they just get in the way. If you were going to be on your knees, with no standing or walking, these would work fine. But for tactical duty that these are meant for, where a lot of activity and movement is involved, they re useless! 1Knee pads good Protect the knees good 5Best for me I finish concrete for a living and have tried different style knee pads and none I've tried are absolutely perfect especially when you literally have them strapped on 40 hours a week like I do but the Alta brand seems to work best for me in what I do. Just bought my 3rd pair. 5The most comfortable combat knee pads Very comfortable and durable. Bought them for a class and they worked flawlessly. The gel is very nice feature that makes for a very comfortable surface to kneel on but not to soft that it s hard to get back up. Will buy again when I wear these out if I wear them out. 5They do a great job protecting your knees They do a great job protecting your knees, however, they are not at all comfortable and tend to slip down a great deal if you are active. I purchased these for paintball. I spend more time fidgeting with pulling up my knee pads and trying to get them adjusted then I do actually playing the game. I find them to be a great distraction. If you are using them casually working in a garden or walking you should be fine. 3Civilian or military use Used these extensivly in the military, best knee pads for work or military tactical applications. 5Lazy packing or chincy company? I got two right side knee pads. Would not recommend. 1Locking system SUCKS! Engineering gone stupid. I ordered this item for work (construction) to replace a cheaper pair from the same brand. My older model was dark navy with white caps. I was very pleased with them except that the white knee caps would eventually start cracking from the bottom up. After about three pairs of those I decided to step up the model/quality. I loved the digital camo of this one and was intrigued by the supposedly better locking system. My older pairs were Velcro and elastic which I was very pleased with and was looking forward to trying a supposedly better design.Man do I HATE the stupid locking system!First off my older pair NEVER came apart... The only annoyance was that every time you would put it on, it would take 2 or 3 attempts before finding the right tightness. I assumed this supposedly better system would allow you to find your right tightness and keep it... That all you had to do afterwards would be to just hook/unhook and that's it... Boy was I wrong!First off; only the top band is elastic, which sucks. Secondly; the stupid buckling system NEVER stays where you set it... I have to readjust it several times a day! WTF! Think of an adjustable buckling system on a backpack that always slides out of position... That's what this supposedly better system is.My two suggestions to the manufacturer in ACTUALLY making this a "better" system: 1) make BOTH straps elastic; and, 2) place a real Velcro system on the straps so that once you find your right fit/tightness it would stay. (Not that stupid little Velcro loop that only keeps the strap from flapping but does nothing else).There... Those two suggestions doesn't take an Einstein to think of... So I hope you're not dumb enough not to implement them. Here's what I really like about them so far: digital camo design, comfort, and knee cap durability. For my next pair, I think I might go back to tried and true cheeper simpler design. 3AKTA 50453.00 These were bought because the other pair I had were not useful anymore. To date I've only used them once and can't really give you a true comment until this item has been used more than once. 3
