    Great for saving space, and are tough enough to handle weight. I needed something for storing my brass casings for reloading ammunition. Brass is not light, and these hold about a large coffee can full of brass each. Great way to separate and store your reloading brass. Also takes up a lot less space than boxes or pails of brass. 5Really handy way to organize almost any place in the house I wasn't sure what I would do with 12 of these, but soon found uses for all of them. Under the kitchen sink, they make a great place for storing small items like sponge pads, plastic gloves, etc. In the office, I have a few set up on a closet shelf for sorting electronics cables, office supplies, etc., so they are easy to find when I need them. I put the last few in the garage for storing smaller items and frequently used tools in a place we here they are easy to get to. They stack neatly, so they take up very little room. 4well made and priced accordingly The product description by amazon is pretty much spot on: these are open bins (I haven't tried the covers or subdividers) made of fairly heavy gauge polypropylene.The material is one of the stronger plastics in routine commercial use short of heavy duty automotive composites; I am familiar with its durability through years of laboratory work. As a result, these bins are clearly a step up in ruggedness from, say, Sterilite drawer sets. All the acid and heat resistance seems fairly rated, given the nature of good quality polypropylene.The molding of these bins seems good, too: there are no gratuitous bends where there should not be, there is not any excess "flashing", and they stack securely as advertised. Their rated capacity of 30 lb may be on the slightly optimistic side, but is not that far off of what I would consider their upper limit.The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the price, which is not cheap but still fair for the quality of goods. If you are in the market for open bins and want good ones, I would strongly recommend them. 4These make perfect snack bins! I was so excited to get these for use in my pantry! I used them to organize and de-clutter. I bought the dividers as well. Great for storing protein bars and other snacks. 5Great for organizing my shop and fit my Gladiator cabinets! Just got these for organizing my shop. I spent a lot of money on Gladiator cabinets and these fit inside them like a glove. Strong heavy duty bins. Stackable and a nice reasonable size. Not too big, not too small. Love them!Will be buying more. Yes they are pricey but you get what you pay for in these. 5Durable, practical, been using them for years I've been buying Akro Bins for years, one or two at a time at our local container place. They're great, but get a bit expensive when buying that way.So when it became obvious that our garage shelves were out of control, I was overjoyed to find Amazon selling Akro Bins by the dozen. Now we can find things again in our garage -- at least, we can in our shelves there! 5Perfect book bin for my classroom library, and I have tried them all! TEACHERS: this is the perfect book bin for your classroom library! It is far more rigid than the typical bins, has straight sides, and a block on the front designed for labeling...what more could a teacher want? These are sturdy and last forever...I have 20 or so in the larger sizes and they are as great as the day I got them six or seven years ago. Excellent quality! 5Perfect for Organization Lovers These are great for organization addicts. There are so many ways to customize them too. Lids, dividers, labels. I like the clear too so i can see what's inside. I will most likely be buying more of these to organize my tools and closets. 5Very sturdy storage bins I plan to use these to store misc. stuff in my garage and mud room area. I am going to sit them on chrome racks I purchased from Lowe's. I have not used the bins yet, but am pleased with how sturdy they are to the feel. I believe they will hold up very well. 5I love it When I recently moved I bought these in a few sizes (all 11" depth) to help organize while unpacking after our move. These are the perfect size for cabinets. I use them in the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room & garage to collect everything from medical supplies to tea to cell phone accessories. I find these very useful and have some spare to deploy as I find a need. For a household that used to collect piles of random things, these really help us sort and organize. 5
