Satisfied customerI bought this item to film my son during his baseball showcases. Well, that is not going to happen. I tried it for the first time this past Friday. It took a minute for it to connect to the WiFi...once it did. I mounted it to a mini tripod on the top of the fence. My son was pitching so I aim it at the mound, It was far so I tried to zoom in but there is no way to zoom in or out. So, I thought once I played it back on the app, I could zoom in and out to show my son what he as doing right and wrong. Well, wrong it would allowing for that either. So, without that capability the camera is useless to me. Another fault with the camera is that the app will not work unless the camera is turned on. I thought with the SD card you would be able to do that...WRONG! So, to other people that have kids in active sports this camera is not the one to capture those moments.I am updating my previous rating due to "Outstanding" customer service from Irene. She has gone above and upon to make sure that my needs were met. I just recieved a new Akaso. She ensures me that the product will meet my needs. I'll try it in the coming days and to see. Whether it satisfies my needs or not...I just want to point out my customer experience. It was again "Outstanding".5Great buy for the $$$This camera is a first for me and although I'm sure there are much better quality cameras out there, for the price and simplicity, I'm very satisfied with this one. I particularly wanted it as a dash cam and just started looking at dash mounts in preparation for an upcoming trip next month. I liked the mirror mounts best because my dash is bumpy and not wanting to put adhesive on it, I knew nothing would adhere well. And almost all of the windshield mounts I looked at had not great reviews as far as retaining their suction to the window. In looking at all the mirror mounts and how they were put together, I realized that the bicycle handlebar mount plus a couple of other mount pieces in the many pieces already included with this camera would work just fine and they did! Hooked everything up, took a test spin around my neighborhood and have a great 4 minute video that's just what I was looking for!!5Very pleasantly surprised by this camera!I had an expensive underwater camera that I used for scuba diving and the housing broke and flooded it. I needed a last-minute camera for my upcoming dive and didn't have time to research, so I bought this cheap camera to use for the dives. I didn't expect much, I just didn't want to miss any shark footage. After reviewing some of the first footage I was really shocked by how well this camera did underwater (with housing at 117 feet) and even the still shots. I took some night time pictures and it didn't even need flash. Frankly, I am keeping it for all my travels and diving, I don't need to spend hundreds for a nice camera. I just don't understand how this camera can be this cheap. It's very easy to use underwater as well, only just 1 button to operate, unlike my other one. I hope this camera lasts a long time, but if not I am buying another one.5Excellent quality for a great price!Considering that I bought this for an 11 yr. old and the 6 yr. old is now the cameraman, I cannot be more pleased. The picture quality is excellent, even when the younger is bouncing around while filming the basketball player. Using the camera on his bike and skateboard also pise challenges, but despite our rough roads, the film is clear, albeit a bit goofy. We are very happy with the battery life, ease of uploading, and waterproof quality during storms. Great purchase and highly recommended.5Akaso action camera is a great buy!So I was concerned about this device but after using it for 2 weeks all worries went away. The Akaso Action Camera is a great buy! Working through the menu the 1st few times was frustrating, but read the instructions and play with it for a bit and the initial angst will go away. After using it during vacation in Hawaii, we got some great pic and videos. Only downside is it reads a memory card 32Gig max, but I have yet to fill that much up during one day of use. For price compared to other actions cameras this one is awesome and works great. Plus, all mainstream actions camera accessories work with the Akaso Action Camera. And it comes with more accessories that I have used or need. And wait there is a another plus, the phone application ismartDV, with this app u can change setting edit and review pics and even transfer to your phone (via WiFI). I like it a lot, cheers!5Nice camera. Very affordable and excellent customer service.OK for it s price but awkward to use underwater as it s practically impossible to see if it s recording or not. Recording light indicator should be AMUST feature on the next version.Remote was not working out of a package. I had no time to check if it s a battery or something else. Should be working or don t market it as a feature!!! :(. Overall iffy quality but hopefully will last for couple of vacations although not much faith in the product.Update on 11/12/2018I have received a free replacement which was unexpected and more than welcomed. I have used the camera for about a year now and happy with it s overall performance and quality.5I was skeptical, but the pictures are perfect!My nieces immediately stole this from me and took crazy water videos. They are gorgeous - and obviously, it means the equipment is not only easy to set up, but easy to use.It has more attachments than I know what to do with - I am just so happy that I didn't purchase a much more expensive model when this is absolutely beautiful quality for a fraction of the price. I did laugh at the warning that when it's in the case the volume may not be heard (I'm wondering how many people complained) - but the case perfectly protects against water issues.5Great -- while it lasted. :-(This quite a lot of camera for the money. However, there is one glaring problem: The adhesive on the helmet mount! Because of that, the camera lasted less than one day for me. The camera fell off somewhere in Yosemite, leaving only a thin layer of the adhesive in its place. Great video lost forever.I have old helmets with GoPro mounts still adhered to them. They're next to impossible to remove. This adhesive though, is an otherwise great product's Achilles heel.UPDATE: Although I did not expect it, Akaso replaced the camera! That changes everything. Aside from the adhesive, this is a GREAT camera. I'm changing my review from one star to five.5Just what I was looking forI have been wanting a Go Pro for a while now but the price are just not in my budget. I searched and searched and I am so glad I stumbled upon this product. It is small, comes with a lot of accessories, wifi connected, waterproof, great image quality. I could not ask for more. This is my ever first sports action camera. I will be taking this to my trip to the Philippines. Many beaches and islands to go to and i cannot wait to use this.I feel like a little kid using this and showing my husband what it can do. Definitely a great purchase.5Great camera for the price (2019 UPDATE)We bought the camera for an upcoming cruise. Previously we only had our DSLR so this one provides us way more flexibility for getting around and taking some great water photos. The quality of the photos and video are good. It is not super sharp all the time, but good enough for what the camera is. Really depends on your environment/lighting. Also, do not expect anything awesome about low light as it does not have a flash to do well there at all. Overall for the price compared to a Go Pro and for what we need, it does the job well enough. You get a lot for this price, but if you are looking to make some high quality videos and become the next big YouTuber, I would suggest you spend the extra.Update:Got back from our trip and the photos and video were great! It was also incredibly easy and fun to use.Update (2019):Bought the newest version of this camera for my in-laws and we got some amazing pictures underwater. Especially of this sea turtle!5
