    Powered a 24 Channel DMX Decoder for LED Strips for It's Short LifeThis unit is powering a "High Power 24 Channel RGB 3A/CH DMX512 Controller Led Decoder Dimmer" (available on Amazon) to run our LED lights on stage. The fan is quite loud, so I will be moving the unit beneath the stage. It stays cool and delivers steady DC for our lighting. No issues with flickering on the broadcast or interference with any other electrical systems on stage.EDIT6/5/19After an electrical burning smell, the LED strips went dark. We are operating under the prescribed amperage, but the unit burned up (not the church, thankfully). See pics.2DOUBLE CHECK VOLTAGE OUTPUT!I want to leave a 1 star rating but I feel bad. I just wanted to let others know to double check the voltage output with a meter before hooking up your equipments. Purchased this to power 2 control boards for my laser engraver that needed 24 volts each. The power supply I received is suppose to put out dual 24v. The 24v output was actually putting out 100 volts each and can not be adjusted. So double check before you burn out whatever you are trying to supply power to.5Worked but came damaged.This is second I bought. First one I gave 5 star. This second I gave 2 stars do came damaged. It was not do to shipping. Box It came from no damage but the power side wall was bent and sticker for seal was scratch. It look the same one expected the damage and old use sticker to label. The new one worked fine so far but damage made me mad I would returned it but need could not waite for new one.2Steady output adjustable between 22.3V-25.9VI purchased the 10A version, and it does NOT have a fan, which is why I chose this model. I did not notice excessive heat or noise while the converter was under about a 4 amp load.I tested the output using a multimeter, and the voltage adjustment knob gave me a range from approximately 22.3V to 25.9V.5Please read this before relying on other reviews.It does exactly what it advertises to do.I noticed that a number of reviews mention the noise of a fan and other complaints - let's be clear - the reviews you read on this page are for all of the different power configurations, not just one. This review is specifically about the one that converts alternating current to 24 volts of direct current. It does not make a sound when it is working, and does not have a fan, either. I'd imagine the comments that mention noise and fans are from people whom purchased power supplies that produce more power. This one delivers 24VDC, 2A, 50W. (Note: Product description lists 48W, but the unit I received is labeled as 50W.) No fans, no noise, just power conversion and doesn't make a single peep.Another thing I'll add is that the one I received (and I'm including a picture to illustrate) has an extra piece of clear plastic that is hinged and snaps into place over the power terminals. It also has a built-in green miniature LED light to let you know when it's working, and a very thin fuse to protect the circuitry soldered directly to the board.5Circuit board schematicI would like the seller (manufacturer) to include the PCB and Schematic wiring diagram (including components) with these units. In case (after time a iT breaks down or fails) I may be able to restore it to operating condition after determining what failed/burnt up. It is valuable information (even when/if I'm the one who broke it).3Dependable Power SupplyI've got this mounted in an outdoor, sealed plastic box where it is driving the wirelessly-controlled throttle for my garden railroad. The box is in partial sun and daytime temperatures here are often in the 90s in the summer. This power supply has been powered up 24/7 for six months with no issues. The power is clean and stable. I can't hear any hum. There is no fan noise. I'm very happy with this power supply.5Works with Apple cinema display A1097This power supply is being used to replace a defunct Apple monitor supply. Functions properly with an Apple 23 inch cinema display A1097. Of course you'll have to cut off the cable connector that went to the Apple supply and direct connect to this Aiposen supply. Have a volt meter handy to set the output voltage. Other hookup information concerning grounding is available on the internet...5Used to initiate DC pool equipment relays and power iOT deviceThis unit was perfect for powering DC pool relays and fit nicely in my pool control box. I used this to power the relays via smaller 5v relays controlled by an ESP8266 Wemos Board. I split out two buck converters off of this unit as well, stepping them down to 12 volt and 5 volts each to power the small 5V relay board and the ESP8266 Wemos board. This unit has held up in the summer heat that has reached 105 F. A nice feature is the adjustable voltage output. The unit is solidly built and has holes for mounting.5DC transformer works fineI needed an AC transformer and did not realize that until after I installed this one. It works great, but I burned up a piece of equipment before I figured it out. Don't make the same mistake that I did. I like the adjustable voltage (it was set at 24V and I had to adjust it down to 20V), because long runs of wire sometimes have a lot of voltage drop. Of course, you will need a multitester for your project.5
