Just so-so UPDATE: Was sent a replacement and is much better at removing phone from holster. No more missed calls. Very happy with product So so. Sliding phone into holster is easy but trying to easily remove it to answer phone is impossible. Does not slide out without using a lot of pressure. Many times have missed calls because phone will not come out. Some times I have to remove the holster and use both hands to slide the phone out. Now the felt backing on the holster part is already coming off. The easel stand is useless because will not support the weight of the phone but I really don't care about that. I didn't intend to use it anyway, but tried it out for grins and glad I wasn't buying the holster for that feature. 5Fits good Does Not Protect I like the slim look and feel of this case. Other cases I've used were much more bulky. Day one I clipped this case to my belt and sat down. When I did, the clip came off of the back of the case. With a lillte time and patience i was able to get the clip back on the case. Hopefully it will stay on without popping off again. For that reason I gave an overall rating of 4 stars.UPDATE:I dropped my phone from about 2 foot. This case did not protect my phone. The back glass on my phone shattered. Don't waste your money on this case. Buy a quality case so you won't regret it later. I learned the hard way. 2The replacement case belt clip was like what I had experienced with my Galaxy S5 which ... I have had the Aduro Holster Shell Case for my Galaxy S5 in the past. When I upgraded to a Galaxy S8 Plus I ordered a new Aduro case. When I received the case the belt click spring seemed very weak. Entronik, who was the seller contacted me and I told them of my concern. They immediately sent me a replacement. The replacement case belt clip was like what I had experienced with my Galaxy S5 which was strong and no concern of the case falling off my belt. 5Aduro holster cases were pretty darn unbreakable at one point Aduro holster cases were pretty darn unbreakable at one point. My main issue is that when I get into my car, I sometimes snag the holster on the seat belt as I sit down. With the holster I had a few years ago for my Samsung S5, it survived almost every time this happened. The belt clip would sometimes separate from the holster, but I was always able to snap the two back together. Finally after about 1.5-2 years, the tabs that connect the two finally broke. But I thought a two year lifespan, surviving scores of snagging events, was pretty darned good.Now on to my current Samsung S8+ and the Aduro holster... snagging on the seat belt only happens 2 or 3 times before the tabs break off and render it useless. I'm not sure if they still offer a lifetime warranty on this holster, but when there's a $7 shipping charge and it takes 4 weeks to get the replacement, it's not worth putting in a claim.Furthermore, the kickstand is unstable on this model so that you can't really use it unless you lean it against something or put a shim under the kickstand. I get that the S8+ is a long phone, but it wouldn't be an issue if it was designed properly.My latest Aduro just broke today (4/13) and I purchased it on 3/3. Forty days is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I won't be buying this brand ever again. The Wizgear holster that I've had as a backup for the last six months will now be my mainstay. The kickstand is rock solid, and the belt clip seems to be more rugged. I don't like the fact that the phone slips in from the side, rather than the top like the Aduro, but I guess I'll live with it since it seems to be the better product. 1Broken and disappointed This is exactly what I was looking for. I love the ease of sliding my phone in and out while it is on my hip. I have only had this fit a few days so we'll see how durable this is over time but right now I'm pleased. My ONLY complaint is that the inside threading seems to be coming apart. Not A major show stopper for me, but definitely something to note.Im updating this to say, its 1.5 months later and this is broken. Pin came out of the clip and threading kept coming out, so now its useless. I know it was inexpensive but I expected more than 1 months use. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGRUNTLED!!!!!!!!! 2fits well perfect fit for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. I could not find vertical holster for Galaxy S7 Edge, and had to use horizontal one. This phone is bigger than S7, so I was pleasantly surprise to find vertical holster. Looks like manufacturers are paying attention to customers reviews. 5I liked the product Love it...as a lady I like slender and sleek rather than bulky. I like the fact that I can slide the phone out of the holster, keeping the holster on! I would give this product a five star! The kick stand is a bonus...especially when you don't like having to hold the phone all the time...not to mention the price..highly affordable! 5Issues on quality A bit upset, within the first week the back stand has broken and now pops out so I'm disappointed. I did buy this for the clip and I enjoy how securely the two pieces stay lock, and even though i cant remove my phone one handed I at least know it's secured at my hip. Not sure I'd buy again, but it works for what I intended to use it for. 2Poor Quality Product I have owned ADURO cases through 3 different phones and they would last a reasonable amount of time. I ordered one for my S8+ and it lasted almost a month. The spring stretched out so it would not stay clipped to my pocket. The phone dropped a number of times which cracked the case and screen protector. I ordered a new one and within 20 minutes, the clip broke off of the back entirely. Returning both and I will be looking for another option. Truly a shame as these cases have been my go to for years! 1... and screen protectors int he past and been very satisfied. This model has a spring which stretches and ... I've used other Aduro holster and screen protectors int he past and been very satisfied. This model has a spring which stretches and fails rapidly. I've had mine replaced under warranty and the new one is just as bad. Aduro says that they haven't changed it so I'm not taking another warranty replacement,I'm looking elsewhere.Also the Aduro glass screen protector will not fit with this case. I've been using a Galaxy wireless which fits, but cracks often. On my third one of those. 1
