    Great Tool It seems a bit cumbersome but it ultimately works well - that's what I got it for in the first place - some serious work. Affordable so an excellent addition to the toolset. The upstart that makes it is founded by a young couple - it's fun and important to support such companies. 5It's okay It's okay. As others have mentioned, sometimes it will slip, so extended use is not practical. For longer use I bought a five hour mini camera. 3Extremely well made, much better than expected. I could not believe how well built this was. It's not at all what I expected, which wasn't much. Your phone won't budge, the angle is as you set it and then super tight, and the strap fits my big head. Only complaint is that when the straps are open enough for my big head, the top strap is off center. 5Useless POS for POV It came with all parts and instructions but it is useless. Even with it strapped as snugly as possible to head, with straps down over ears to attempt to counter-balance, my Galaxy S7 (small phone) is too heavy and headband starts to immediately slide off. 1great idea I do like the idea and that it can hold my phone/camera for any type hands free outdoor stuff. However, I can't get it far enough back to record a bow shot. It will record an indoor dart throw with no problems. I think it would work for kayaking very well. One just has to get used to that heavy feel on the forehead. Maybe they'll make a lighter phone with a fantastic camera. If the phone starts doing some silly thing on its own I can't tell from my angle. 4Well built and definitely as advertised Action Mount's head strap and smartPhone adapter was something I've been looking at for quite some time. I finally got it today and I can't wait to try on my kayaking and biking days. Also I had this paired with my recent purchase of the Imvio case with lens (Wide and fisheye) so I can have the GoPro like video on my iPhone without spending $200.The Action Mount Smartphone holder feels like it was solidly built and will stay on your head snugly. Becareful not to put it on too tight because it will give you a headache. Inside the strap has a grippy feel but I won't know if it stays on while I'm sweating.Another thing I was concerned about is that I couldn't open my phone while it's on the mount. If you position your phone just right you can open the camera app without a problem. I have the iPhone 6 so it's big enough to open the camera app without the mount hindering the swipe of the app. The one problem that I can see is the strap that holds the phone. It's so small that I can't imagine going any bigger than a iPhone 6. Any bigger you'll risk not having the strap securely hold the phone besides the suction cups.Overall, it's a great accesory for anyone looking to take videos on their smartphone hands free. But I will come back and do another review after a few uses. 4Finally a product like this Got this to hold my HD recording camera during my sport events. Very sturdy and convenient build. Can take a beating for sure. If you're into getting the most out of your smart phone that's capable of HD recording during your adventures then I'd highly recommend this. Also comes with a suction style mount that holds your phone to record from a stationary position. Very good for time lapse videos. 5a product that delivers More and more janky products/sellers are getting good reviews on Amazon, causing me to buy things that are junk- the review system used to work so well... But at least with this product, it delivered like how I liked the 'good ole days' on Amazon. Holds the phone great, worked great for when I used my phone as a head flashlight in the attic, and doing some go-pro like outdoors activity another time. Long term durability is unknown, but looks great so far. 5Works. Difficult to use screen though. Great solution for anyone that has a respectable smartphone camera and lacks the desire to spend a lot of money for a GoPro/equivalents.Once the camera is on the mount, I can start the video (barely), but the rest of the screen is covered up; what are you gonna do.The stability of this is better than expected. I recommend this, especially since I can use it with every new smartphone I buy. 5Not too happy with this purchase Not too happy with this purchase. The camera is at a weird angle so the video is cut off. I'm sure you can try to compensate by pointing your head in an unnatural manner or something but it's just too awkward. The phone is also not that stable and wouldn't stay all that secure in the locked position. It might be something I could get to sort of work with a lot of effort on my part but I can't be bothered with that. A great idea but doesn't seem well executed (unless I'm missing something on how best to use it). Unfortunately, an item for the junk drawer. 2
