The finish, while considered satin, is closer to polished. Doesn't really match the satin nickel of the Halo products in the same room. The lens does not sit in/on a gasket so I'm wondering if over the long term we are going to get some moisture in the enclosure. Glad I went with a "damp" rated recessed can and wired it on a GFCI line. 3Love it! Great added above shower and allows more light thru! 5So far so good. I have this in a steam shower. I've ran the steam unit for long lengths of time then opened up the cover and no condensation is present in the can. The can is airtight too, but just wanted to see if this cover really was air tight as well. So far so good. 5Great looking Trim for our walk in shower light Used this in our remodel for our shower that we did last year. Really improved the looks of our old plastic white can light trim that we had there before. Definitely a lot better quality / looks than before.Didn't quite suck up tight like our old one - so we had to use a bead of silicone to make it fit right up to the tiles so that water / steam can't get in to the light / electrical portion. 5Pleased with product. Just installed. Fits well and seems like a solid product.I cut out foam ring for around the inside, to close gap between outer metal ring and tile ceiling. Not a fault of product, but note, it does not have anything like that included. Has a thin rubber gasket included. It did not block light and air flow sufficiently, as we have a tile ceiling.Other options we found were either rather cheap plastic products from Lowes/Home Depot/et al, or we saw $100 to $200 similar products from stores selling higher quality light fixture options.BTW, the Lowes/Home Depot options did not have a foam ring either.At this point, I'll give it 5 stars. 5THANKS VERY NICE DIFFUSER - SPREADS LIGHT IN SHOWER WELL. ONE LIGHT IS ENOUGH. 5
