- The package simply says "Grey" on it, but it is platinum gray. A high quality cord, made in China, with gold plated contacts. Relaxed the curly part of this cord is 18 to 20 inches long, NOT 12 FEET. It is called a 12 foot cord because 12 feet of material goes into the curling machine.
