    Work extremely well.Excellent filter which surprisingly fits my antique Shop-Vac. In fact they may be a little too effective as they need shaking off quite regularly to maintain suction. Having said that, I far prefer an excessively effective filter to one that exhaust the dust right back out again.I find that after every few uses, a quick trip out the back door to wave this thing around and a quick vacuuming off, (with another vacuum of course!) keeps things going well. 5A solid replacement to the originalI purchased this filter when Amazon stopped selling the genuine Shop-Vac one. Seems to work just fine.Note to potential buyers: This one does not come with the screw on cap like the Shop-Vac ones do, so save your current one. 4Does not fit like a genuine Shop Vac filterThis filter is slightly larger than a genuine Shop Vac filter. It does not fall off, but it is not as tight a fit as the real thing. I am concerned that dirt may get past it and damage the motor. Better off to pay and get the Shop Vac brand filter. 2Perfect replacement for my Shop VacPerfect replacement for my Shop Vac. Make sure and save the retaining ring from your old filter since this doesn t come with one. 5Good Filter at Best PriceGood Filter at Best Price. Don't throw away your old end piece to lock in the filter. This one doesn't come with a new one as some more expensive ones do. But you don't need a new one unless you lost or damaged the old one. 5Better than original filterPerfect fit for my ShopVac wet/dry 14 gal 4.5HP model 8773691. I've been pleased with the ShopVac's suck power in the dry & wet mode. Cleaning the original paper filter after sucking up dry stuff is no problem, but difficult to clean after sucking up wet stuff. This replacement filter seems to be made of some sort of plastic or fiberglass material and easily cleans up after filtering dry or wet stuff. 5Not OEM qualityThe filter fits and will probably do the job, but it is not as sturdy as the original. The wire frame is flimsier and the rubber end constructions are thinner and not as "heavy duty". This is compared to the filter that came with the original Shop-vac purchase about 15 years ago. 4Sent The Wrong FilterThe picture shows a 90304 filter but the one I received was not that. Dimensions totally different. Has only a 4 inch hole at the top and has a plastic bottom with a snap in plug. I sent it back. Not sure if I should order another one of these and hope I get the right one or go to another merchant. 1Needs to be replaced oftenPurchased for our shop vacuum that we use to keep our bunnies and guinea pigs cages clean. The filter doesn't last long at all and it has to be replaced often. I wish there was alternative to the filter, if you don't replace everything smells like dust. This filter works for a short time, doesn't last very long with prolonged use. For anyone that uses their shop vac a couple times a week like we do, it's a waste of money. 3Add a bag and extend the life of your filter.Perfect fit - and equal to the OEM filter on my shop vac. The only problem with filters is they clog from fine particles. The solution I use is adding a shop vac bag. It catches and filters out dirt, dust and other fine particles and extends the life of the filter. Shop vac bags sell for about a third of the cost of a filter which saves money and is a lot cleaner to empty. 5
