    Great lights!!I wish they have 6 and brighter lights. I have a 18x18 room with 12 -14 ft height cathedral ceiling, and I was hoping to find 6 2000 lum (120W equipment) LED with Gimbal Recessed Ceiling lights, without housing.This product has all my requirements except it only has 4 size and 1000 lum. Well, I decided to give it a try! It came out not bad with only 4 lights. However I just ordered additional 4 more lights, plan to install 2 more, and leave 2 for spares as I may not be able to replace them anymore if any one of them don t last as long as they supposed to.5High end fashionable modern lookExcellent product, adds a modern high-end look to any decor with the narrow beam light and specifically the color of the light. Bought several others for another room. My electrician was so impressed that he said he would install the same lights in his own home.5What a great light.You always take a risk when you buy something online without touching it or being able to see the build quality and details of the product. These lights are so impressive in each of those departments that I immediately went back and bought two more. I could not be more pleased. Wow! Very thoughtfully designed to install easily. The spring loaded clips pull it up the ceiling so tightly that you have a hard time getting them out if needed. Very secure fit. IC rated so it can go right up against the insulation. My 4" hole saw drilled the perfect fit and the bezel covers the hole nicely. The wiring was also very thoughtful. Separate wiring box allows for Romex clamp to secure the entrance of the Romex to the inside of box. Then they provided wonderful wiring connectors so no wire nuts necessary. Loved that part too. You can wire this whole thing up, push it up thru your 4" hole and then attached the light with their quick disconnect cable. Cool! For a 4" light to produce 1000 lumins of 2700-3000k light is amaing but the light is fabulous. Dimmable, I put all three on separate dimmers and absolutely no flickering. Be sure to get an LED/CFL/Halogen dimmer. At full voltage they do get a little hotter than I thought they would since they are only 12watts. With that much light I keep them at about half and they do not get hot at all and has plenty of light.I would recommend and purchase again.4Excellent lighting productWe installed more than 30 of these lights about 6 months ago. So far, they are working great. They were easy to install and fit in tight spaces when attic space is limited. We used the 2700k LED light color which provides a warm "halogen" type of light but without the excessive heat of the old low voltage halogen light fixtures and with some nice energy savings. Recommended.5The Future of Recessed Ceiling LightingThese lights are simply excellent.Pros:1. Easy to install2. Great light (mine are the 3000 K warm light version)3. Excellent adjustment in any direction using a true "eyeball" gimbal4. Easy to remove if necessary for future wiring access.5. Perfect for wall wash6. Consume only 8 Watts but put out as much as a 65-Watt incandescentDetails:The driver/junction box is aluminum that has two standard knockouts to receive Romex connectors. Inside the hinged lid are Wago-type push-to-connect wire connectors that can each hold four wires -- one for the light and three for daisy chaining to other units. I used 14-ga Romex, which is easy to bend and strip, and approved for in-wall use. To be clear, each wire inside the junction box -- black, white and green -- has a pre-installed Wago-type wire connector.Wago Wire Connector 600 V Clear 4 Conductor 100 / Box. Strip the insulation about 1/2" and push. Done. No twisting of a wirenut. Much more compact and you can add a wire later if you need to without pulling the existing wires apart.The light emitting unit is installed into either a 3" or 2-3/4" hole. I bought a 2-3/4" hole saw for the job. Worked cleanly. (And I have a new size hole saw for my collection.) A 3" hole will work, but the unit will not fit as snugly.The spring clips allow very positive sealing to the drywall. The unit practically adheres to the ceiling. So much better than installing 6-inch cans with their problematic spring retaining clips. The unit attaches to the low-voltage wire coming out of the junction box via a two-conductor threaded splice. Very positive. Not a chance it will come apart after installation.The greatest feature is that the unit is so low-profile. If you are installing these near the outside walls of your house, it is likely the roof rafters angling down to the walls are leaving you very little room vertically. These units are only an inch or so thicker than the drywall itself. (They call them "can-killers" for good reason. Why ever install a recessed can again? They were designed to hold a giant, hot, incandescent lamp.) As long as you don't drill your 2-3/4" hole into a ceiling joist, you can very likely install these anywhere you want.And, should the unit fail for some reason in the future, the unit can be pulled from the ceiling and replaced.I'm dimming these using the excellent Lutron Decora-style dimmer. Lutron DVCL-153P-LA Diva Dimmable CFL/LED Dimmer, Light Almond This unit allows easy on/off like a regular switch with dimming controlled by a discrete little slider next to the larger switch, and comes in a full range of colors to match existing switchplates and styles. Yes, they don't dim to zero, but they dim enough for mood lighting. Remember, there is a trim screw in the dimmer for fine tuning to your lighting load. I now have four, 11-watt LEDs in the cans and these four, 8-watt wall washer eyeballs. That's a total of only 76 watts. The dimmer needs to know that by adjusting the trim pot under the cover plate. You do it once and you're done. You then have maximum dimming range for the Lutron.Wonderful design. I just wish I had stumbled upon these modern design, low-profile, easy-to-install, cost-effective LED units before having installed eight new 6-in cans around the house. Never again. And these units come in a variety of diameters, up to 6-inch in various Wattages.5great lightsThese lights are great - I didn't know how picky I was until this. Insulation compatible, dimmable, push connects, 2700 light color, can-less, gimbal adjustable.I tried other lights that didn't have some of these features - will be getting more of these.Don't know about longevity - assume they are still working unless I update my review.5High quality but color-temperature seems wrong [UPDATED]Original Review: Very nice concept and high quality construction. However, the 2700 K lights I ordered seem too blue-white. I am directly comparing to another brand purchased a few years ago (no longer available) and to some 2700 K LED bulbs. So I am not convinced that they are the correct lights, despite the label on the box.Revised Review: Promptly received return replacements which are closer to the right color-temperature. The original lamps were probably mislabeled. I was contacted by customer service as soon as the original review was posted, and then again a couple of times until I'd received and tested the new lights. They expressed regret and concern. Could not ask for more responsive support.5Not recommended.This was not 3000k as said. Very blue NOT warm like 3000k should be! Does not match any of my other 3000k lighting! The light flickered on and off directly after install. Also there is not a cutout guide with this light.1Great little light!Great little light, just wish the cable was a few inches longer. I've lit an entire kitchen and another living area with these (3000K), and they provide a medium focused yet soft edged light. Good value. FYI... operates at about 36vdc @ 1/4a,5Great lights and slim design make it easier to install in tight areas.This light is very bright and has a slim box, therefore for the recessed light area fits nicely even in tight spots. I used the lights in the opening of the kitchen and the gap area was 3.5 inch. The lights fit perfectly and they look great. I am buying 12 more for the living room. Also the dimmable option helps to reduce the light to your desired range. I recommend this product.5
