    Need a big round head to look good in these glasses! I just received these glasses today. Quality is what I expected. Cheap plastic frames but designed good enough for everyday use. What I did not expect is the size of the lens. They are very big and bulky. Almost 2in from top of frame to bottom of lens at the center of glasses. Also, the glasses frame is very curved. Not like a pair of Oakley glass which are just slightly curved. Hope this helps. 3Nice but wish they fit better Long-time eyeglass wearer who had cataract surgery so I needed something like this for work in surgery and outdoor/indoor home stuff. Very well made 3M product with three adjustments: the lens angle, temple length and what appears to be soft silicone nose pieces. Both lens are very clear and the main lens sweep around to the side. The bifocals are placed quite low and medially. Although these are made in Taiwan, they are not made for my Asian face since despite my making all the possible adjustments, the nose piece does not hold the frame off my cheeks (and I don't think I look particularly chipmunk-ish). The best fit I could make made the bifocal portion too low to be fully functional. I like the 3M Nuvo Readers' fit better, however the side shields make me look industrial but very dorky. 4Poor Quality Assurance Purchased as a spare, over one year ago, needed them and recently opened. The temples are totally out of line -- maybe about 10 degrees when viewed from the side so they sit on your eyes at that angle. Can you imagine using them long term? Called 3M company and they confirmed that this feature is not adjustable, and returns have to go back through the seller. That is not possible. What a shame, what a waste.Update -- Made one last effort to make these useful. Used a heat source to heat plastic where the alignment problem was located. After this, it was possible to move the temple and it seemed to snap in place in the proper, aligned position. The temple is a little looser now, but still functional. Hmm, this possibility was unknown even to the 3M manufacturer.Also noted that the temple was scratching my skin. It was due to where the 'made in Taiwan' label was molded. After using a file to smooth this area, this problem was also fixed.As received, this was a one star product. Because the product was capable of being revised to useful, the rating has been changed from one to two stars. 2they looked pretty non-specific. Nothing special When I first got these glasses, they looked pretty non-specific. Nothing special. I realized however when I'm out shooting that I actually feel functional now. I don't need to swap glasses to make gun modifications or read information on my ammo. I can transition quickly from working on things to shooting and they work great for shooting (they don't fog up like other glasses I've had). I liked them so much, I bought three more pair :-) 5Poor Build Quality / Diopters not suited for Typical Safety Glasses use. The angle of the left/right "temples" do not match and are off by perhaps 10 causing the glasses to sit crooked on your face.Additionally the diopters are too small in my opinion and too low in the field of view; these are safety glasses and not "readers" after all. These will work for you if you are holding work close to you and you want to look down with your eyeballs without tilting your head (like reading a book held close). For work held at arms reach like a pistol or a cordless drill for example; the position and size of the diopters require you to tilt your head far back. 1I wish I would have known these existed a long time ago You ever come across one of those products you wish you knew existing a long, long time ago? This may just be one of these. My daughter is in robotics clubs, and as part of the competitions she enters, anyone in the "pit" area or competition area has to wear safety glasses or goggles of some sort. Well, that's not a problem unless you are getting a little older, like me, and need reading glasses. I don't need glasses for other things, just to read and see up close. So.... I had to keep taking my safety glasses off when I needed to read something or see something close, and change back when I was done so I could see far away again. It's a bit of a pain. I never realized these even existed until another father told me he uses them in his work. I decided to buy a pair for myself and it was amazing. I could now wear the safety glasses all day, AND still be able to read things and see up close, without having to swap anything out. These really made a massive difference in me just being able to enjoy the experience so much more. If you need reading glasses, and have a need to wear safety glasses, even if doing something like mowing the lawn or working on a carpentry project, then these are something you truly need to get. It will make a massive difference in being able to enjoy what you're doing without interruption. Can't say enough good things about how enjoyable that is. 5Arrived so twisted i wasnt able to use them.. or the replacements! I ordered these to use in my garage and around the house. When I opened the package they looked good.. when I put them on, no bueno! They're twisted.. so bad that they're unusable! I let the buyer know about the issue immediately after receiving them.. they were very apologetic and sent a new pair right away! I received the replacement pair and they're twisted worse than the 1st pair! I went online to see if I could find some locally.. I found some made by 3M at Lowe's for $12.97 with reader/bi-focals built in.. they had +1.5, +2.0, and (I think) +3.0. I got the +1.5 and they're great! 1Fantastic safety glasses These are great safety glasses for people who usually need readers for close work, but also want better protection while working. The small bifocal magnifying lens are positioned mostly out of the wearer's line-of-site, but easily can be used when you need to read an instruction or a tape measure, for example. The temples can be adjusted for length and tilt to fit nearly every shape of head or for personal preference. Because they are not glass, they can be more easily scratched, so take care of them and they will take care of your eyes. My only regret is in not being able to find something like these with an amber or yellow lens, but I won't ding the manufacturer for this minor gripe. I will, however, remove one star for made outside the USA. 4Love these glasses Being a guy of a "certain age", I find myself unable to see the fine details in my projects. Ok, I can hardly see the project itself if it is closer than 4 feet. But these fix that problem and allow me to do the close work while still allowing me to look up and see farther away without the correction. I have bought two pair of these - one very strong for really fine work and one my normal strength for reading and such. The fit well, are adjustable, and I like wearing real safety glasses when I use power tools. I like being able to see what I'm doing even better! 5Losing close vision as we age sucks. I thought these would help but ... no. I was a bit put off because these arrived in a "soft" packaging that allowed the frame to be twisted. I was able to twist back mostly into shape but it is not squared well.My only complaint about the actual glasses is that the magnified area is TINY! It takes a lot of neck twisting to adjust to reading with it. I thought that might be better, considering most readers are too big for using in a work area. Ultimately I wore them for a bit over an hour before setting them aside and going back to regular readers. My eyes aren't as safe but now I can simply look over the top of my readers for distances. 3
