    Exactly what any handyman needs I don't wear glasses but working on projects which require me to stick my head in tight quarters and trying to see something 8"-10" away, forget about it. I have to work by feel instead of sight. I was looking at store rack reading glasses but since I really only need something when I'm doing projects I started researching safety glasses with the diopter lens. And of course there are a million to choose from. These were highly rated because of the size and placement of the diopter lens. Most negative reviews were because either they aren't used to a bifocal lens or they thought these were like reading glasses with one lens strength. The fit is very comfortable, similar to higher priced safety glasses and the ear piece extends or retracts for a tuned fit. I'm ordering another as a spare. 5Decent, could be better They are not bad. I find the bifocal magnifier a bit too high up, even with the angle adjusted. Being safety glasses, it is not convenient dropping them down the nose for better positioning. Aside from that, the temple and angle adjustments provide a good fit. The nose adjustment is not great, as it just slides up and down on some posts. If it's an issue, some material could be inserted into the hollows of the nose piece to prevent it from sliding up the adjustment posts. 4Good value with some cautions. Nice, low cost safety glasses with a couple caveats:1. Both pairs I ordered (2.0 and 2.5) were slightly warped so they did not fit evenly. I heated water to almost boiling in a measuring cup and poured it slowly over the bridge (while avoiding the lenses) and then twisted them gently in the other direction of the warp, held them for a few seconds, and then ran them under cold water. That seemed to work.2. No case, just a plastic bag.3. One pair did not let the tips of the earpieces fold in enough to (eventually) scratch the lenses. The other pair did so over time the lenses will get scratched if you're not careful. 4HELP.....I can't find nose-piece replacement!!!!! I am on my 4th pair of 3-M s bifocal safety glasses. They do what they are supposed to do and they are comfortable to wear. I wear mine 5-7 hours per day Monday Friday. My only complaint is that the nose-piece, over time starts to slide off and eventually the nose-piece cracks and splits. I have searched for nose-piece replacements on line with no success. If I am unable to find the replacement nose-piece I will move on to another brand. 3I didn't like them These ride on your face I kind of high, at least on my face. Made using them difficult I wore them for about 1/2 hr before I took them off because t b email magnification lenses were in mid distance viewing area. 3in my opinion best on market Few year I use this safety glasses exclusively. I tried more another brands but all the time I was not happy with magnifier part - very narrow - or quality of glasses - very soon has developed micro scratches - this models 3M I use more than 6 year in maintenance on heavy industry and mill plant. Last pair I had been using over 2 years and very unhappy while I could not find replacement. Finely on Amazon I find it so I took 3 pairs - now I should be good till my retirement. 5They come in handy I work in a machine shop. We are required to wear safety glasses. These glasses fit great and are comfortable. The extra magnification makes reading blueprints much easier considering how small they are. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone. 5Rubber Nosepiece tears Updated 8.18.14: I do like these glasses but the rubber nose piece started falling off every time I cleaned them and eventually split open. I still wear them but they get uncomfortable after a couple of hours. I wish I could buy the rubber bits, I really like the coverage these glasses give me. Original review 12.22.13: Even though I don't need them all the time they are so comfortable I keep them on all the time. This comes in handy because the protect my eyes in situations that I wouldn't think to have put them on. 2Very Comfortable and Scratch Resistant Eye Protection... Very Comfortable Eye Protection and good optical quality. They are also far more scratch resistant than the other Safety Glasses with Diopters that I have tried. I tend to put these on and forget that I have them on. FWIW, I have a 7 3/4 hat size, and these fit just fine. Perhaps a small design upgrade would be to change the mold for the nose pad posts to add a small barb to hold the nose pad in place but still allow it to swivel the way this one does, making them so very comfortable. It's a minor issue, the nose piece doesn't fall of while wearing them and simply washing it in dishsoap periodically (like one would wash regular eyeglasses) minimizes the problem of the nose pad slipping off. I'll be ordering more of these! 5Nice to have shop accesory Being of a "certain age", I need some help seeing the fine details of what I'm working on. Well, maybe the larger details too. These fit the bill. I'm having a little trouble getting used to where the bifocal line is and keeping it the same height for both eyes. I usually don't wear bifocals, just readers, so that may be more my problem than these glasses. Overall, they aren't completely comfortable, but about what I expect for budget priced safety glasses. I would recommend for a part-time hobbyist. If you need something to wear all day everyday, maybe spring more $$ for more comfort. 4
