Thanks again amazon. 4Incredibly better value than the plastic modelAbsolutely fantastic; retail price over $230, they sell for $150 elsewhere and the PLASTIC VERSION was actually 50 more last time i looked.I couldn't find any review that would confirm that this tool worked with the scotch-weld dual-syringe 50ml tubes and this one says 2-oz but the so-called 2-ounce tube i bought with this gun actually said 1.6oz on it!So with amazon's policy of return, i 'took a bullet' for the team and bought some of each of 1.7oz (50ml) and so-called '2 oz' 'automix' epoxy and this gun to compare them and see which worked..The results: 1.6oz, 1.7oz, 50ml, 47ml, are synonymous and all work in in this metal version and presumably the plastic EPX applicator gun as well. The 'pro' with the metal one is it's WAY stronger, but the only 'con' is that it only works with 1:1 mix epoxy tubes, where the plastic one has interchangeable plungers allowing for 1:1, 2:1 and 10:1 mixes.It looks possible to modify this heavy duty gun to work with 2:1 mixes and i may buy one tube to verify if that is indeed possible. I will certainly post an update if that's the case.Also, the picture is very confusing so i posted a set of pics showing exactly how the gun works.-awr 5Ease of useIf you purchase the mixing nozzles this gun is a must have in your tool box. And talking about a one hand ease of use this is a caulking gun without the long tube barrel all you do is lock back add your glue tube and squeeze the trigger.
