    Fast. Bought the 17th and recieved the 20th from florida to minnesota. We'll see how long it lasts. I have both a large and small lava lamp and this bulb fits both. 5Does not seem like a 25 watt bulb Does not seem to be a 25 watt bulb, when I compare it to another 25 watt . Not even the heat that is dispersed from it feels hot enough for 25 watts. going back. 1Works Perfect I have a 14.3" The Original Lava Brand lava lamp also by Lava Lite mine is old had it for maybe 10+ yrs or so needed a new bulb it requires for only a 120V/25W bulb only! works perfectly had if for 3 days now and its still working it does heat up my lava lamp hot to make the wax like lava like it should so no complaints i do use my lava lamp a lot ill have it on for full day then turn it off just so it has a chance to cool off. Note that if you were lazy like me and haven't used your lava lamp for a long while.... talking years here and, just bought a bulb for it, it does take a full day to get the lava going its not the bulb once you got your lava going it will be fine at starting up again. and one other thing DO NOT BUY IF your lava lamp requires a different voltage/wattage it also should state that inside of or on your lava lamp it is to prevent fires! 5Only 25 watts- didn't heat well, lasted only a short time, poorly packaged, get a 40watt Appliance light bulb- lava flows better This bulb took a lot longer to heat up and melt the wax/oil or whatever is in our lava lamp than the bulb it came with and burned out within probably 6 weeks. It was poorly and cheaply packaged when it arrived, but did work fine other than taking FOREVER with our kids bugging us when would it finally start working! Also though the "lava" did move up and down it was either in large balls or one long tube, it did not flow nearly as nicely as the original lightbulb when we bought it.. From the research I've done it seems most people like a 40watt Appliance lightbulb (same one that's in your oven and fridge etc). GE has a 40watt appliance bulb 2 pak on Amazon for $7.46 and Sylvania has a 12 pak of 40 watt appliance bulbs for $13.99. But check your lava lamp if it has a watt restriction so it's not a fire hazard before ordering. Since even as appliance bulbs seem to only last a few months I'm going to try the Sylvania 12 pak for $1.16 each 2One Star Lasted 10 days with occasional use, not acceptable. 1The packaging was not the best (a padded envelope) BULB BURNT out AFTER 2.5 months!!!! The packaging was not the best (a padded envelope for a light bulb?) however it did arrive just fine and my lava lamp is working once again. That was a dismal time in my life, lava lamp sitting lifeless on my desk, as I waited for that new bulb to arrive.UPDATE: Burnt out after 2 1/2 months. I had it on a surge protector, too. I'm not going to blow 6.95 (current price here) to get another...see ya lava lamp, nice knowin' ya. 1New generations learns about lava lamp. Original bulb lasted about 10 seconds. The new ones are still going strong after several months. 5Don't last Don't last long in a lava lamp. 3it just left a dull glow but didn't get any lava gurgling around The principle purpose of a lava lamp is to melt to lava (wax) in the lamp. This product does not do what it says on the tin. After using it in a lava lamp for many days, it just left a dull glow but didn't get any lava gurgling around. I removed this bulb, threw it in the trash and bought another. That other bulb gurgled and bubbled that lava like the lamps maker intended. 1Lava lamp bulb i wanted this for a lava lamp for my daughter but ended up for my granddaughter.the bulb that came with the lamp was broke and it seems not everyone carries this bulb in the wattage needed.this bulb works and was inexpensive to boot. 5
