    Satisfactory for most purposes Certainly gets the job done. Some reviewers have complained that the tubing is too flexible and thin but if the wire run is not straight, flexibility is pretty much necessary. For those interested, the O.D. of the 1/4" I.D. loom is about .410" (or about 13/32"). This could be useful information if planning to clamp the loom down to some surface - perhaps using wire clamps. All in all, a good solution to tidy up loose wire runs. 4Young bored cats. Kittens who like to chew cords In November, my wife and I adopted two sibling kittens.They were (and still are) cute. Loveable.But, they're cats. Young bored cats. Kittens who like to chew cords.After losing two phone chargers, our DSL internet cable, and the power cord to our record player; we felt it was time to cover our cords.We bought this product. Put it over all visible cords and cables and we have not had a problem since.I'm not sure that this product is really designed for our use, but it does the job well and was much cheaper than the niche alternatives. 5Got cats? Get this. This loom tubing has saved my electrical cords from being eaten by my insane cat. They re bigger than I need, as far as diameter, but since it s larger than I need, my cat also can t fit it s mouth over it. Perfect!!! 5Paper thin and poor quality Absolute garbage. This loom is so thin, it collapses if you look at it wrong. Such a disappointment. How does someone sell this with a conscience? Waste of money 1Used for Kitten Detterent I am using the tubing as a protective layer on cords so my kitten doesn't chew through them. They are a little time consuming to wrap around cords, but they work for their intended purpose. All and all, goo purchase. 4Too thin for crush protection After receiving this I realized it's too thin for my needs. For wiring my RV, I need to clamp wire bundles in a cable clamp, and this loom will just collapse under moderate pressure. Loom bought locally is much stronger, having difficulty finding thick walled loom on Amazon. 1Saved money and it works just as it should Much like anything of a make like this it gets the job done. It was significantly less expensive than the local auto parts stores to purchase. Easy to feed the wires into, and it closes up nicely. I have two wires that run through it, and it holds them easily. It protects the wire, and that is what I ordered it for. The price, convenience, and overall product make this a good purchase. If I need to run any more external wires on any of my vehicles, I would definitely purchase this as it is the same as those in the local auto parts store but it was significantly less expensive. 5Very light duty This is very light duty tubing. Needed some 1/2" so ordered this rather than run to HF, fair price and quick delivery. But surprised how light duty it is. I have purchased the same type of product numerous times from HF and found this to be much lighter duty (thinner wall) than theirs. Offers very little protection, IMO. Never expected to find something lower quality than HF :-) 3like tidying up your audio Wall thickness not as thick as what I have used before. I would not use this in a heavy duty harsh abrasive application. Not robust. Due to the way it was packed for shipment, there were two or three sharp "kinks" that are permanent making it unusable in those sections. It is ok for "light" duty, like tidying up your audio, stereo, or computer cables. But I would not use it for "off road", under the chassis, or engine compartment duty. 3Works but can get crushed underfoot This works great to hide your cabling and make things neat.It can easily get crushed though, if put in high-traffic areas under foot. I still use it for this, but just do my best not to step on it.This isn't really a flaw per-se, but it is something to consider if you are placing this on the floor.Also, make sure you get the right size. Measure what you're putting inside and go one size up. I was barely able to fit my cables in it. There was a slight gap I pointed at the floor... And then used small, tho. velcro cable ties to keep the tubing together..Also, don't go too big, or this will be more "crush-able."Again, these aren't necessarily flaws, but a few things to consider. 4
