Very modern and Super Bright!! The 2 Pack Camping Lantern is very modern and since they are LEDs, they are very bright as well. I like the modern look to it and the small compact style. It's very portable and you can take it almost anywhere. Also the fact that it's an LED lantern, it's so much brighter and doesn't consume so much battery power so the 3 AA batteries will last longer. I also like the magnetic bottom, makes it easy to mount it anywhere and the way that the handle just folds is very nice. What I don't like however is the fact that it needs 3 AA batteries, I would much prefer having there be a built in rechargeable battery but I understand that this is mainly used for camping and emergency use when there no power so it is understandable. Hopefully, they do come out with one that has a rechargeable battery built in but overall I really like these lanterns 5Lantern is better than Candles. Purchased this product preparing for Hurricane Irma. We lost power for 3.5 days and they worked great. The Kitchen and Living Room were well lit. Easy to pick up and walk to another room or upstairs. We also used one to walk the dog around the dark neighbor. The slide up/down made it very simple to turn on/off. We purchased four more. I prefer the lantern to candles. Didn't have to look for candles. 5Not long lasting After I used one of them for a few times (may be 10 times), it burned down and fell apart. The top came off. They are bright but their rate of power consumption is high. For a new fully recharged batteries(I used rechargeable batteries that are new), the light grows dimmer after 5-10 minutes of use. If you use them continuously for an hour or so, the batter runs out. Overall I don't recommend these lights at all 2Versatile Lights for Home or Travel Safety These lights are small but mighty in the amount of light they produce. Easy to use for travel or just for walking a dog at night or going out to the barn, etc. Like that they require just three AAA batteries each, since these batteries are affordable and easy to find. 5These are awesome! Wow! These babies are bright! I purchased these for our safety survival kit. With all the natural disasters lately, I felt it necessary to upgrade our candles and flashlight, to these lanterns. They run on 3 AA batteries, so we'll keep the candles handy, but these are going to prove useful over the long New England winter. We always loose power at least a few times! I'm attaching photos, which I took in a dark room with no flash, to show how bright these are! 5Nice and Bright...Perfect For Around The House I bought this 2 pack because it was a good deal, and because these lights seemed to be durable for around the house in emergencies, etc. Definitely happy with them. They even have the 3 little magnets on the bottom, and they run on only 3 AA batteries. They're very light but feel like they are made out of a tough plastic and could take a drop or two if needed. Nice and bright, perfect for around the house. 5Great for backpacking and lighting the way for dog walks These lights are very bright with the ability to control the brightness. They are also light weight and small which makes them very portable. Will use them on my next camping trip. Plan to hang one from the roof top of my screen room. Great for backpacking and lighting the way for dog walks. 5Compact lighting These are cool little lanterns. These work great outside on a blanket, table, or hanging from the top of a tent. Each one puts out a reasonable amount of light, so you can see what's going on. It's not nearly as bright as a typical LED work light, or your traditional propane camping light.The compact size and little handle makes these perfect for kid hands. They work OK with the bail flipped down, and don't occupy much space. You can easily adjust the amount of light you need by opening or closing the lamp. 5OK with one caveat These are good and when you lose power or you need to see something in a dark place they are super good. During Hurricane Irma when we lost power here for 6 days, we used these extensively. However, they seem to lose power over time and get dimmer and dimmer even though the batteries are ok. If one shuts them and opens them again they work. There might be a timer switch in there in case you leave them unintentionally on, I do not know, but it was annoying during the storm. Otherwise they are good! 4Great Battery Powered Lanterns I love these little lanterns. I bought these for my condo patio during the dark night when my family wants to eat outdoors. These put out a great deal of light and as of yet i still haven't had a need to use both lanterns at the same time. My only wish now is that they were solar powered and not battery power - or maybe even a hybrid. Nonetheless, that's just another product i need to buy :) 5
