10G for a new SANarrived in secure packaging. registered in my cisco switches and the dell san as well. plugged in and registered correctly very quickly. attached the fiber and up the links went. in use for several months and no issues.5LOOKS LIKE A GOOD SFPWhile we did test this SFP, it did not work with our application. I do not think it is a fault of the item, more of our application. We were trying to communicate from a Cisco switch to a Phoenix Contact copper to fiber adapter. The wavelengths are the same, but trying to COM from laser to high powered LED might not work. There is no data to say either way. I can not fault 10Gtek in any way without proper testing. They did at least have an item that was hard to find. Good Job there.4These work great !!!I purchased several of these SFP+ 10 Gbs fiber modules. I plugged it in my Netgear XS508M and XS716T using Single mode fiber (OS2) and LC-LC connector. It immediately got the 10 gbs signal and the fiber is working seemlessly between the 2 switches.5Worked fine in my TRENDnet TEG-30102WS switch and my HP NC523SFP NIC.It's a nice, normal, competent SFP+ device that has (theoretically; I'm still testing the last few bits of the performance!) connected me to my switch via an OM3 LC fiber connection. My switch and NIC agree that they are operating in 10GB mode, but I don't have any 10Gb devices for me to talk to for a 'full-speed test', but I am DEFINITELY getting 1Gb in my connections on my network, so it's surely doing that much!Also, I'll give a quick plug to my 1Gb AT&T connection which also helped me be sure I was at least 1Gb "or higher"! :) Pic included for lulz/reference. Anyway, works great so far!5Compatible and consistent, haven't had a problem with any so far.No compatibility problems so far, and I'm using on a fairly wide variety of hardware. They seem to have consistent performance (i.e. multiple units produce consistent input/output levels).My only gripe is with the type of latch used on this and many similar SFP's, which can be difficult to release in a crowded rack, or occasionally test the adhesion properties of your fingernails.5Excellent transceiver for Mellanox switchPurchase several fiber components from 10Gtek, this copper 10GBase-T transceiver arrived promptly and was truly plug and play. There were no issues with the connectivity to the Mellanox switch it went into. Temperature is running as expected. Will continue to purchase components from 10Gtek.5Excellent 10Gb transcievers at a great price. Cisco and Cisco/Meraki compatible.Work exactly as expected. Purchased the 10GBASE-SR, MMF, 850nm, 300-meter model. Used in Meraki MS320 and MS380 switches SFP+ ports. Instantly recognized and available, link at 10Gb, bandwidth and transfer speeds test exactly as expected. Have used other 10GTek transceivers in the past and they've always worked great. These are no exception. Price is fantastic.5This is a GREAT company -Don't let the TW brand confuse you. They have a great product, excellent packaging, and outstanding customer support. They deserve all the small IT and computer repair independents, like myself of our business. We look for customer support such as theirs.5Doesn't actually work in any Cisco switchesI got this to try out with some Catalyst switches and every single one of them reports from a show inventory that there is an unsupported transceiver in the port. I tried to override the nanny but 4 different model catalyst switches all refused to function. The same is true for the fiber GBIC modules. None of the 10gtek or other 3rd party fiber connectors work, ONLY genuine Cisco transceivers.It's not that big of a deal with the fiber though because those are less than 10 bucks used but the ethernet 10gig connectors are several hundred dollars.That said, this device works perfectly fine in the mikrotik 10g switches, an aruba 10g switch port and a ubiquiti 10g switch so it DOES have it's uses, just don't expect it to work with a Catalyst.2Works great with QNAP TS-932X, WD 1TB SSD, 300M/S Wr, 900 MB /S Rd!! (that's bytes / sec, not bits)I'm using a NAS as an external hard drive (using self-signed IP) using 10G thanks to this transceiver, as well as general NAS for the rest of the home on regular 1G1.
