    BEST EARBUDS EVER these are amazing they sound great and are very durable I watch vids on it how the sound chamber is plastic and they woried about it breaking I found no problem iv stepped on them and they are fine I mean for god sake my mom accidentally put them in the washer and dryer and they still sound just as good and still work so if that's not enough for you to buy these I don't know what is 5Build Quality and Sound Quality to match. great earbuds, have been using them for a couple months now and there are things I like and dislike about them (mostly like).Like:- sound quality- the quality in these is awesome, although not ground-breaking, these little things pack a punch and are amazing for all types of music. I usually switch between edm/deep house bass heavy music, and indie music that relies on crisp highs and clean mids. These work great for both, there's no sense of flatness- things sound clean, not muddy also.- Durability: not sure how others treat their earbuds but I use these A LOT, walking around and constantly tucking them away when not needed- there is an included carry case that I admittedly sometimes forget to put these back into, but they still hold up fine. The earbuds pop off the wire too, so If the jack were ever to go bad, well, i can get a new one for like $20.- Shape: the material used on the earbud end of the wire is stiff but malleable so it can be perfectly formed to your ear, this keeps it in place and hasn't fallen off for me. It's a bit awkward at first but not difficult to figure out.Dislike:- Comfort. This is kind of an in-between thing and almost entirely subjective, but I have smaller ears and the ear tips (about 4 pairs included) are either too big or too stiff, I haven't found the perfect size to use and keep in-ear for more than 2 hours. Everyone has different ears though...Overall, these are great earbuds for the price. 4Love the shorter length on thiese cables Love the shorter length on thiese cables. I use these earphones with an ipod 6th gen, I think, that clips onto my running shorts, and the longer cord on all the other earphones gets in teh way. I have to rubber band it together to keep it from tangling and flopping everywhere. This cord is perfect, and the sound is very good. I use for running outside to listen to audiobooks, and sound is clear and distinct. 5You still hear enough engine to enjoy and could hear if something was not working right I bought these for motorcycle riding and they worked so well I use them for yard-work as well. The foam really cuts down the sound of the engines, I would say around 75%. You still hear enough engine to enjoy and could hear if something was not working right. The sound quality is on par with the price, and more than good enough for what I use them for. The design keeps them from protruding so I can slide a helmet on without knocking them out. 44 years later, still solid, BUY TRIPLE FLANGE SLEEVES Great Product for a fair price. Shure themselves now offer this product in two variations that are more competitive in my opinion, one has this setup with a gray cord, and one had a cord that include cvolume control and a mic for calls.Also for about the same price Shure now sells a bluetooth version. I JUST bought a bluetooth adapter, unaware that Shure sell these with a bluetooth cord. Otherwise I would have looked at buying the cord without the headphones.These were not used for me daily like my ATH-M50x's, but they were used a lot, even to sleep with inserted, and they traveled in my sling bag every day getting tossed around.The biggest thing I can stress is that the triple flange sleeves are the easiest to adopt as the noise cancellation and ease of insertion are superior, BUT BEWARE, the sleeves can distort, split and fail. Be more than willing to swap out the flanges sooner than later, or you could end up with a sleeve in your ear detached form the headphone (been there myself, remain calm and seek assistance from a friend with tweezers and a steady hand)2/21/2019 My wires have finally worn out and will be buying replacements. 5Fantastic Value & Sound These are probably my favorite IEMs. I've got Sennheiser IE80s, JVC FX-700's, AKG Q701's, Ultrasone Pro 750's, and Beyerdynamic DTX-501p's. I've also tried AKG K3003i's and Shure SE535's.These offer a "fun" sound signature - it is by no means balanced or neutral. I was shocked at the amount of bass they had, especially considering that these are a Shure product. They have a definite (slightly exaggerated) sub bass that rumbles pleasantly when needed. Bass in general is powerful, punchy, but controlled and not muddy at all. As you'd expect from a Shure IEM, the mids are detailed and quite forward. Highs are slightly clipped but this also helps reduce listening fatigue from sibilance.Noise isolation is fantastic to the point of severely occluding situational awareness - these cut nearly all outside sound. This allows for a more focused listening experience and also keeps volume levels down.Build quality is typical Shure - high quality, dense plastic housing with lots of accessories. Unfortunately the cable that is packaged with these IEMs has a really thick jack which probably won't fit your phone case. I found this unusual as Shure oriented the SE215's as a portable-focused headset. 5Look at the seller before you buy! At first these seemed like great IEMs, I used them for a few monthes and all was good. After some time I ended up using different headphones and these went into storage for a couple of years. I pulled these out about 2 weeks ago and I started to notice so many red flags with the pair of SE215s I received from Amazon. The more I examined them, the more clear it became that I had received a counterfeit pair of IEMs. If you do buy these from a seller other than Amazon, make sure you take some extra time to inspect them to verify legitimacy. 1Good, but not great considering the extra cost of SE/LE. Strong bass compared to other earphones, but for the price you're better off getting the regular version or paying that extra $40 for something like Final Audio Design Heaven IV which sounds twice as better. Unless you like bass, then these are hands down better and cheaper.Absolutely love the replaceable cord aspect. Those are always the first to go, so I really like that. It's the only reason I chose SHURE. 4Better than the original if you wanted more bass and treble My first pair of Shure's were the standard black se215. Those didn't have as much treble and bass as these, but still with this different tuning nothing seems drowned out its just like the perfect balance. i prefer more bass and these find the perfect balance to be there when needed but not overpower everything else spitting out of these. Lastly the imaging is pretty close, not spatial but the music is dead center slim to no crosstalk. great upgrade over my powerboats 2 wired and wireless 5EXCELLENT ISOLATION, SNUG FIT, SUPERB SOUND Excellent external sound isolation with correct size conical (christmas tree/muti-flange ) ear buds...as good as or better than -22dB rated ear pro. Fits nicely in the ear - a must for me as I wear with a motorcycle helmet. Superb sound quality. Over-ear cord path gets a bit of getting used to. Several options for cables available: style, length, mic, volume controller. For me, a winner! Hi Hi, JS. 5
