The problem is that the quality is poor. The left ear stopped working after 6 months At first the product works well. The audio quality is what you'd expect for the price. It doesn't stay in place without some coaxing. The problem is that the quality is poor. The left ear stopped working after 6 months. I contacted the manufacturer and they were willing to do some sort of warranty replacement, but wanted me to ship it back. The time it takes to ship a package, it's easier just to order something else.UPDATE***I kept using the product even with the broken left ear peace. Now the remove doesn't work. Slow clap. Now it's going in the trash. 1Fantastic headphones! These earbuds are great! I needed something to fit underneath my helmet that weren't too bulky as I get a headache on long rides from them being pressed in by the helmet pads. These fit the bill beautifully. The wires hold them in place while I put the helmet on and I can barely feel them under it. The hand control on the wire is an added bonus. I can stop my music, turn it up, turn it down....all with the handy switch. Much better than digging in a pocket to do all those things. I bought a second pair for when these stop working. I didn't want to miss out in case they are ever discontinued! 5Slippery I really liked these earphones when I saw them on here. They had great reviews, so I decided to give them a try. The packaging was great, they came on time. I love how they came with extra sets of ear gummies to switch for preference, the cord is awesomely long, it was all plus for me. The sound is very clear and powerful even with deep bass songs. My only issue is when I use them to work out, the earphone on the left ALWAYS slipa out, no matter how much I adjust it, no matter what gummie I put, it always falls out and it's really not the best situation specially when you're deep into a run or workout. Anyone else have this same issue? Maybe I sweat too much? Maybe I'm not adjusting them rightM I've come to the point where I rather just use another pair of earphones, which sucks. 3I was extremely disappointed with this product I was extremely disappointed with this product. From the first time that I put them in my ears, there was no sound coming out of the right ear bud. I didn't give up on them immediately though because I assumed this was user error. I have read through all the instructions and cannot seem to get the sound to equalize in both ears. Regardless, I have used these for running a few times. One thing I noticed was that the pause/stop/switch song button for music does not work if service is low. And when it does work, it usually doesn't function the way I want it to. I really wanted to like this product, but at this point I am sick of fighting with them to work properly. I understand the concept that you get what you pay for, and this is not the most expensive pair of headphones. I just didn't expect that I would get a product that didn't work at all! I will not be purchasing another pair.~LM 1Great value and features I bought these after my Bose ear buds broke. The sound quality obviously isn't comparable (Bose ear buds are $100+) but for the price these ear buds are amazing. They stay on great while I'm working out and the sound quality is fine. The volume function works great. My favorite part is the case it comes with. I've ruined a lot of ear buds in the past but so far using the case with these ear buds they're still in perfect shape. My only complaint is that the microphone is a little but low and sometimes I have to hold it up to my mouth when using it. Other than that, these are perfect. 4When in doubt, but these! This is my 5th-ish pair of these earbuds...(lost a couple pairs, & keep one at home & one in my purse) I LOVE them! As such, I'm giving this pair to my mom for Mother's Day, in hopes she'll love them as much as I do.They sound great, fit great, and one of my favorite aspects of these earbuds is that they lie flush in your ear, so I can use them in bed and still be able to lie on my side without the pillow jamming the earbud painfully into my ear. These are the first and only earbuds I've found that are constructed this way.You can also move around without having to constantly adjust them due to the memory-wire that curves around your ears. I'm not a runner anymore, but when I was I loved these for running as well.And the price? C'mon! Talk about an incredible value! When in doubt, buy these! 5I do NOT recommend these headphones I bought two of these headphones, a pink one and a clear one. I really wanted headphones with volume control as I jog and hike a lot and it is convenient to have the controls right in front.I used the pink one first during my hike and it worked well. I tried using them again for my jog later that same week and no sound would come out of the headphones and I made sure the volume was all the way up on the headphones and on my phone and iPod. I plugged in old headphones I had and sound came through so I knew it was these headphones.So I tried the clear headphones and it worked. I was able to use it TWICE before it also stopped working, no sound again.It is very irritating especially when I'm already out on the jogging/hiking trails and that's when I find out these no longer work. I had expected these to work or at least last longer than 2 uses. I do NOT recommend these headphones. 1Defective Units, Sound might improve after "Burn" period, Good Noise Cancelling Feature I'm currently on my third pair in a month and not sure if this third pair will work. The first pair had an on/off switch that intermittently didn't work. All three have a coarse volume control with limited volume range. You basically have to set the volume on your device at the desired sound level then use the volume control on the remote for coarse sound adjustments. The second pair had no sound coming out of the left ear bud. This third pair has the hooked part of the memory wire on one ear bud incorrectly attached so that the part that is supposed to hook over my ear is positioned perpendicular to my ear when the ear piece is in place. I've tried to bend the memory wire in the correct direction around my ear but the wire tends to partially turn back to it's original position so the ear piece keeps popping off my ear. Amazon's return policy has been great, but I'm reluctant to ask for a 4th replacement as they usually only allow 1 replacement. If this doesn't work, I'll probably have to just return the defective unit for reimbursement. It helps when using both ear pieces to use the adjustable slide on the cords to tighten the cord under my chin and thus secure the wires around my ears. (The tech support says temporarily using the chin slide can help force the memory wire to retain the correct shape so that you can eventually stop using the chin slide -- but I haven't reached that point) Unfortunately when driving I can only use one ear bud and the misdirected wire is on the ear bud I need to use while driving. The sound is tinny though not as bad as on the Panasonic RPHJE120A In-Ear Headphone. The manufacture claims there is a "burn" period of 50 to 100 hours where the sound improves. I haven't reached that point. The Sony MDREX38iP/BLK EX Earbud with iPod Remote has better sound quality and is less expensive at $15.44 after Christmas ($17.49 before Christmas). I paid $36.49 for the MEElectronics Sport-Fi M6P Noise Isolating In-Ear Headphone with remote before Christmas. After Christmas it was selling for $28.98. The ear phones qualified for "Free Shipping" both before and after the holidays. The Christmas tree shaped ear pieces are very good at noise cancellation. All the other ear pieces (round ball shapes) supplied with the ME Electric model won't stay in my ears. I have small ear canals but find over time the ear pieces hurt if I push the smaller Christmas tree shaped ear pieces fully into my ear canals. For me, the trick to maintain comfort with prolonged usage is to partially push the ear pieces into my ear canals just enough for the rubber to grip. I actually get better noise cancellation with the larger Christmas tree ear pieces using this method. I think the added rubber cushions better to block out ambient noise. The noise cancellation feature is about the only positive feature. With the noise cancellation feature I find I don't have to keep adjusting the volume level when doing errands and driving where the ambient noise is frequently fluctuating in intensity. The noise cancelling feature is better with the ME Electronics than on the Panasonic & Sony models described above. Be careful if you need to be aware of your surroundings e.g. crossing streets, negotiating crowds etc. because the noise cancelling feature is so good you can block out almost all extraneous sounds. 3Good headphones for runners After a lot of research I decided to order these headphones. I had to play with them a bit to get them to stick in my ears but I love them. They have the volume slide control that is compatible with my phone (The buttom volumes found on most headphones don't work with my HTC one m8). I use these to run regurlary and they have done well in two half marathons and one full marathon. I can still hear around me but the sound is loud and nice. When I sweat I can still hear the headphones and the buds don't cap put of my ears. One thing I don't like is sometimes the wire portion that goes around the ears tends to hurt. Its not all the time and its not a big deal but sometimes its just annoying. 5My favorite headphones for active use These are great for using when I'm active. They stay in my ears and never fall out or slip. The cord clips to a tank top strap to keep it out of the way. I love the volume adjust in the cord- saves me from wrestling with my phone through my arm band. Sound quality seems great to me- it may not compete with some expensive, super high quality earphones, but it's full with no extra noise. 5
