    Not recommended.For the money, the item feels very cheap. Balance is way off just like the others have described. I suppose you could find the better balance point and drill out new holes but customers shouldn't have to modify in order to make it work properly. Cup constantly stayed tilted no matter what size bottle you put in it. 2Bought this because I like to have a refreshing beverage while I work on ...Bought this because I like to have a refreshing beverage while I work on my motorcycle. This is perfect for doing that so I am not kicking it on the ground or looking for a table in my carport. Never tried to use it while actually riding. I love that the design allows the cup to stand upright while on the side stand and then stays upright when I take the bike off the side stand to start it up to make sure the repairs were correct. Very handy! 5Defective product design. Beware of buying one until they get it figured out.The "level cup" doesn't hang level at all. Not even close. See attached photos. I returned the item and the seller was super quick with responses and the refund and was very helpful. 5 stars to them!Unfortunately it is a design flaw. The holes mounting the cupholder to the swivel are in the wrong place, causing the center of gravity to be way off. It seems others have had this same issue.I originally thought that once I put a beverage in the holder, the weight would bring the drink back upright, but it did not. 2Soery RAM . But noI'm a huge fan of RAM products. This one, for the price, stinks. It will only adjust for height but not thickness of mug. So not worth the price. It also has pieces on the bottom that fall off way too easy .. The quality of their products have gone down hill but the price's are higher. Lets just start with the rubber feet which YOU have to attach with super glue, they lasted all of about 2 days before they fell off while riding pulling a 20 ounce bottle out. Then the actual bottle holder separated from the base I guess it cant handle a little bump in the road, its held together by two pins that compress against the bottle holder. Needless to say it went into the garbage in a gas station after the third time falling off... Absolute Garbage 1the smaller one works better and is more reasonably priceddrinks do not sit level in this. they tilt back at an angle and splash out the back. it appears the pivot point was placed at the wrong place for the center of mass. very disappointing for the price. the smaller one works better and is more reasonably priced. 1Doesn't sit level and cheaply made..This thing does not sit level as others have mentioned! I though since the earlier reviewer's in 2017 RAM , might have fixed this issue.... It was too my great displeasure that this has not been fixed! It has 2 tiny cheap plastic screws that hold the cupholder to the bracket that aren't placed properly for it to work as designed.. If RAM would fix this product, I'd definitely but it and highly recommend it. Unfortunately for now, it's a dud.. I'm writing this as if 09/05/2019 1I bought one and loved it so muchif you ride a touring bike, this is the cup holder for you. It is fully adjustable in height and holds up to the larger size thermal tumblers. I bought one and loved it so much, I bought a second. The quality I expect from RAM 5I'm glad to see that RAM came out with an expanded ...I'm glad to see that RAM came out with an expanded cup holder but there are still issues they need to address. The balance on the holder is way off, tipping slightly off center. The opening at the top comes in too narrow so Tervis and Yeti cups just won't fit. A couple things I've done to fix these issues, I've mounted a tungsten washer weight on the base with a hex bolt. Honestly, both this cup holder and the original smaller one need some sort of weight at the bottom to really keep the balance correct. 3Fits a 32oz gatorade bottle nicelyI haven't tried actual cups of soda, but a 32oz bottle of gatorade or powerade fits perfectly. Nice and snug.I did have a problem receiving the correct item. At first I was sent a cup base instead of a cup holder. I was sent the correct item pretty quickly. I still need to find the RMA label to return the other item. 5
