Customer Reviews

Affordable, great deal, just like the descriptionJust received all 5 rolls today! Fresh and new with expire date of 5/2020. I was worried from another review of mistakenly getting 24 exposures, but all of the ones I received were 36 exposures just like the description. I'm new to film photography so not sure how these will turn out but will update once I take photos. So far these were the most affordable, what a great deal!5Fresh film delivered quickly as promised. This order was handled expeditiously, dated almost two years to expire, perfectly packaged, five stars. Of course I have to actually use this for a more complete review, but with Kodak's reputation and the many solid reviews on this product, it is certain to please. Would use this vendor again, and certainly will do so as needed to replenish my stock. Thanks!5Great colorI like to keep it simple, not experiment with too many other stocks. I love this film. I love the way it takes in rich and vibrant hues. Highly recommend.5Favorite day to day color filmI mostly shot Kodak portra 400 or 160 , but color plus has became my favorite day to day color film especially for the fact that I find it more contrasty (I love contrast) and color balanced (neither warm neither cold) giving rich colors esp day lights...5Falsely advertised: 24 exp, not 36 exp.I purchased these expecting to receive rolls with 36 exposures, as advertised. I received rolls that had 24 exposures. Very disappointing.1Still a good price for 5 rolls of film but falsely advertisedReceived rolls with only 24 exposures, not 36. Still a good price for 5 rolls of film but falsely advertised.3Good film for general useGood film for general use. Has a slight vintage look to it which works 90% of the time. Don't be afraid to use this, you won't be disappointed.5HAPPY THIS FILM MY CAMERAKODAK FILM fits the CANON cameras very well...right size and no problem. Buying 5 is great for convenience and the price is fantastic. It is worth downgrading from 400 to 200....since I know how to do photo projects it does not matter that much for enhancing at a later stage.5A guide to using this filmThe way to use this film is to use a handheld lightmeter or a phone app to focus on the subject. If the readings are in between you must side with overexposure every time. Do not use your cameras light meter since there is risk of underexposure. The underexposed photos are some of the worst I ve ever seen. This film does not handle it whatsoever and you should know that before getting in. Taking photos of landscape and even at the beach are pretty bad since highlights easily blown out and a polarizer can cause underexposure in other places. For a cheaper film, it s not that great. Color balance sometimes pops, other times of cityscapes can look like a traditional old school emulsion. Resolution is low, the grain can be bad even in well exposed shots of landscapes. Opt for ultramax which is true-to-life and similarly priced and provides that pleasant film look which softer grain and much higher resolution. If you re really new at shooting film, unless you know what you re doing or using a flash, chances are you will be disappointed.3Cheapest film per exposureNot the best film, but it's still fine for amateur film stuff. Also it's the cheapest per exposure I could find on Amazon.4
