I received my replacement binoculars as promised by the seller and am pleased by their customer service. They work very well! For an inexpensive pair of binoculars they work very well - easy to focus and very clear. I bought these for my husband for his birthday. After 4 weeks of very little use, I took off the left cap off the left side eyepiece and it broke off right at the main joint. They have been handled with care, not dropped or misused. I went back to my order and the last day of return was July 29. So now I have a pair of broken binoculars and no way to replace them since they are past the cut off date to return. Very disappointing.Update - the seller contacted me and will replace the binoculars even though it is past the cut off date for returns. I'm impressed that this problem will be resolved and would not hesitate to order again. 5Company stands behind their productUsed them a few times and the left lens came apart where it hooks to the focus extension pole. So the left lens does not move in and out now. They worked fine for a few months and had a good picture. They have not been dropped or abused and were in their case but I got them out to use and noticed i couldn't focus then inspection revealed the plastic connection had come apart. Tool late to return so i am out. Update.....after posting my review the company contacted me and offered a free replacement or a refund!! Replacement is supposed to be a redesign and more durable and better quality. I'm impressed that they wanted to stand behind their product and have fixed the issue with them and reached out to me even past the refund period to make it right. That never happens. Waiting to receive the replacement pair and hopefully they will be of better durability. I will update the review if not but I think it's great they want to make it right. I need these and the picture was good so I have changed my review to a 5 star because they stand behind the product and want satisfied customers.5Good Quality Binoculars I really liked these binoculars. It s my first real pair and I wasn t really sure what to expect. It is a bit bulky, but it feels very sturdy and it s very clear when you look through them, even at night. It was easy to focus onto object at far distances. I had my gf use it and she was said It is a bit heavy so I wouldn t recommend wearing it around your neck for too long of a period. It does come with a nice small carrying bag so you can keep it safe when you re traveling. 5Top notch!Ok this is the second pair of Skygenius binoculars I have ordered. Without a doubt the best binoculars for the money I have ever owned. I wanted a second pair just a little more powerful for hunting so I went with these and I'm very pleased. Crystal clear, lightweight and I have yet to fog them up. I hunted in the rain with them yesterday. If your looking for something inexpensive and better than the Bushnell and Tasco's you should check these out.5Bought based on Amazon RecommendationI was looking for a general pair of binoculars for our trips to the beach. We often see ships leaving the ports and always enjoy being able to catch a closer glimpses of these big ships. The pair we were using from the 80's needed to be replaced. Seeing as we don't use binoculars a bunch, I am most certainly no expert. Wanting to get something nice, but fairly cheap I didn't want to spend a lot of time researching what makes for a good pair of binoculars. I searched Amazon and these came up as a best seller. After reading a number of the reviews these sounded like they would work well for our intended use. Upon receiving the binoculars I was very happy with the quality and feel of them. On our first trip to the beach I was even happier. The color and clarity of view through these binoculars is far superior to the old ones that we had been using. After spending a week at the beach and using these multiple times every day I am very happy with the purchase. These binoculars do everything I want and expected from them. Now I just have to decide if I should buy a second pair, or buy a pair with a little more magnification to have options.5Alaskan Cruise: Great for the priceI purchased these for an Alaskan cruise. We used them every day. Be sure to read the directions regarding how to focus. If you just turn the big center wheel, they will not focus in correctly. You have to do one eye with the big one and the other eye with the eye piece. We were able to see details from the ship to the shore, when we were a good distance away. We used them to view glaciers, animals, and nature. The included neck strap is nothing fancy, but very sturdy and reliable. I really like how you can attach the top lens cover to the neck strap. The carrying bag traveled well in checked luggage, backpacks when out and about, and kept it dust free while not being used. I highly recommend these binoculars if you are going on a cruise, safari, or other nature related outing!5Cool and Fun to use BinocularsThese Binoculars are fun to use and to experiment with, now I keep mine in the car all the time to use it when I'm go fishing from the beach to a hike on the woods. last week I tried using them to look at Sandy Hook NJ from Staten Island which is about more than 6 miles distance and I managed to take a picture of it on my cell phone .. and now I'm going crazy to know what was that big building I saw in NJ ?? you really can have fun with it trying watching birds and sea activity or landmarks like I did. it's comes with a nice bag that hold it nicely. on the down side if you are not careful when you store it it will collect dust and sand believe me I learned that the hard way when I put in my backpack and found some sand got onto it from the backbag and spent about 30 min cleaning it.5CAUTION: NOT WATERPROOF!!!I've had these binoculars for about a year and they worked fine...until yesterday. I was having a cup of tea and by accident spilled just a tiny splash of it on binoculars - less than an ounce - and the moisture got into the chamber and now they are all foggy and completly unusable. What a "made in china" piece of junk!1Best binoculars I have ever used. My kids can also use these. Bright, crisp viewing.These binoculars are great! Nice rubberized coating for a good feel in the hand and non-slip grip. The controls are so intuitive, my kids who have never been able to successfully use a pair before can now use and appreciate them. I took a picture through the lens (shown here) but the picture is washed out compared to how bright and clear the real look is. Its a picture of the cabin 1000 feet away. My son and I were fascinated to use it to watch a lizard in the driveway from the porch. You could see every detail, including his toenails! I also really appreciate the rubber lens covers that came with it and the carrying case. I do wish they had included a neck strap with the binoculars though.5Better than I thought!So I bought a Bushnell along with a Skygenius for my yellowstone trip and i have to say that I like the Skygenius better than the Bushnell. While both had very very clear images the Skygenius was easier to use and store. For example, when you open the front covers on the lens for Skygenius, they dangle in front of the binocular and they are flexible. So once i've adjusted the binocular for my eyes i can put the covers back on and store it for next time and its ready to go. This is not the case with the Bushnell. Bushnell has a fixed length cover in the front so after you are done viewing, you have to put the binocular back to its original flat shape and put it back. So next time you get it out, you have to readjust again for your eye. This maybe a small thing for some but when you are viewing wildlife, seconds count.5As much as I like the quality As much as I like the quality, I am pretty disappointed to see I didn t get any accessories with mine as claimed in the description. It came with no bag, no strap nothing. I didn t get the time to open them right away since it was a present for my son. But by the time I realized it was too late to return them. Disappointed! 1Nice enough...but... outer lens ring is loose---++ UPDATED---+++The large lens has a loose retention ring, super fine threads, can hear they are off center. I will say the optics are darn good for the $. Great for the home/bird watching etc. Focus knob etc are impressive, I like a bigger bino because it has a better field of View (FOV). If I can get this front lens secured before moisture gets in. Not sure if was a shipping issue, as these came promptly and well packaged. I will attempt to re-seat the front lens ring when I can sit down and repair it inside. All i all, I found these to be much better than the wally world shorty types at a better price. I don't mind a little weight if my hike is reasonable, these binos are worth it. I will update if I have a successful repair. Overall, I would recommend for the $ from what ive seen so farNov/21/2018 UPDATE...The seller reached out to me, asked for a quick picture and promptly offered to send out a new Pair ! I told them the binos worked fine, but I was concerned about dust/moisture intrusion, they still offered to send a new pair. Great Service and quick response !Great Seller ! Thank You !5Good optics even though lightweight ....Nice Value.Don't think you will find 10x 50's this nice anywhere close to the $40 I paid 10-10-17.... Not heavy, so maybe they do not have as thick glass and not as many elements as the expensive brands, but certainly these are fine to carry for times you don't want to use the $250 ones (which I would never own anyway ). One reviewer mentioned the two sides were "not equal", so I was worried that they might not have an adjustable diopter on one side. But yes, they do have an adjustable right eye diopter, although I don't think it goes past maybe 2.50.....Several reviews mention parts falling off ( !!) Mine are well assembled and they were also well packaged.Mfr did not claim weather resistant or fog proof, so you might keep that in mind....But for fair weather, I say they rate Highly Recommended.4
