What you see! = What you get! .and I grant this product (5) stars. I was drawn this product because of its unique feature. Never have I seen a sleeve that comes with a flip pad that not only acts as a secure closure but, also work as a portable mouse pad when the laptop is out. This has become an important feature to me because, I love to use my wireless mouse and as a college student that often travels and studies in many different places I can't even begin to count the number times I have been in area in which the available surface was not of good quality to use my mouse. Moreover, it also has a front pocket but, I feel that adding books, your cellphone, chargers, etc. make the product appear bulky, which was not what I was going for. Additionally, you also must be mindful that this is not a closed pocket. Besides these features the sleeve is very stylish and its artificial leather exterior ensures its durability while it s soft interior will not scratch my Surface Laptop as it stated. With that said I wouldn t rely on this material alone to protect my Surface during a mild-severe rainstorm because, as others have stated it does have some openings and the product is stitched together. Overall, this is a good product and I am another satisfied Amazon customer.Until Next Time,-Computer Science Student5Good fit for Surface BookMy order arrived today and it is just as I expected except that it's just slightly more tan than in the product picture, but I still like it. It's a good snug fit for my Surface Book. I've clipped my Surface Pen on the outer pouch and that works great. In the photo it looks like there is a dark spot in the center, but it's just a shadow from the pen inside the case. Sorry, I don't think it is cute, but it does a decent job for what I desire: Protecting the Surface Book from scratches and a few minor dings, yet is easy to retrieve.The hinge on the Surface Book has a "gap" that allows all kinds of crude and corruption to enter, messing up the key board over time. This sleeve can help reduce deleterious material intrustion. My sleeve is blue; easier to find in a black seat pocket of a dark, dingy plane; easier to spot during hectic deplaining.*** One star off for the very, very snug fit. Almost have to force my SB into the sleeve (but it will eventually stretch over 7 - 10 days). This compresses the beautiful screen into the keyboard. My previous tablet combo had marks on the screen from something similar. TIP: Use a thin foam liner (comes in the original packaging) between the screen and keyboard. ***4Modern and pretty case for a surface book Very modern and chic looking laptop case. I love the nude color and the softness of the inside of the case. I have a Surface book 213.5 . The surface book fits fine and I am able to put my surface pen in the case as well. At first, I was a little skeptical to buy this product because I wasn t sure how a case without a zipper would protect my surface. It does just fine, and the upper leather is very easy to put in the cover so that it s closed. Bad quality. I didn't want to use it.It isn't snug at all. Doesn't feel like it was made for the SB 2.I wouldn't recommend it.4Too tight for Surface X Pro - felt to felt friction will make this impossible to usegood quality case. However, it does not fit the Surface X Pro - it's very tight if you even get it in. Let alone adding additional stuff in the side pocket. No way. I've stretched this to the point of close to breaking. Still no go. The fact that the type cover is felt doesn't help either. Once you get it into the case you cannot get it out without spending some time to carefully remove it. Friction is your enemy. Doesn't matter how you put it into the case, the only way it reasonable fits is without the type cover. That's a No-Go and I will return.2Basic, OK cover.
