    Good replacement, for most compressor with/without unloading valve.. easy to install, unloading valve make smooth restart. make sure you hook the line wire/motor wire correct. good value. 5I would say that the unloader hookup could be better if it was pointing down or horizontal My compressor is back in business! It causes my unloader tube to stick up above the handle, potentially getting knocked around during transport. 4Fast shipping Very nice work well 5it has pretty good reviews I have an old air compressor that has been out of service for years due to various problems, one being a switch with burned contacts. I decided to try and bring it back to life and not spend a fortune doing it. Came across this switch that costs about a third of other name brand switches, it has pretty good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I had no problem installing it. It has worked flawlessly so far. 5The inner workings and dimensions of this switch is exactly ... The inner workings and dimensions of this switch is exactly the same as the CAC-478 for my 30 year old Craftsman/DeVillbis compressor. All the parts are interchangeable, and the unloader is in the same spot. The difference is 1) the single port is female and the original is a male. A 1/4" NPT nipple will fix that. 2) The auto/off lever is different. The levers are interchangeable but be aware, the innards are spring loaded, and once the 4 torx screws are removed to access the lever, reassembly is quite difficult . 5This thing was so inexpensive, I should have given ... This thing was so inexpensive, I should have given it five stars just for that. However, it's not even close to high quality. The threaded terminals for the wire lugs stripped out before I could get them reasonably tight. I had to bend them up and back each one up with a nut. Other than that, it works OK. 3Form/Fit/Function Replacement for older pressure switch old pressure switch gave out. This one fit (had to add a nipple) my existing compressor. 5Faulty. Faulty. Doesn't cut off when it should. Doesn't start back up when it should. Unfortunately it's installed and I no longer have the old part.. so I literally have to keep and use this one till I buy a replacement since I'm currently on a job. :\ 2The correct switch also appears to be built well. Works great has adjustable pressure was better then my old switch. My old switch the diaphragm gave out so the compressor no longer shut off. Replaced with this switch and I noted one difference when it cycles the compressor on the motor snaps on where as before with my old switch it was a bit of a sluggish grown on start leading me to believe this switch has a lot better conductivity and a cleaner snap to on then my old one did. I also got lucky and the switch fit with out modification other then setting shut off pressure. 5Quality component. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and is completely reliable. It got my compressor back in working order so it gets 5 stars from me 5
