    At this price I would call that a great value, and I am no fan of plastic Consistent quality and consistent quick delivery. Lasts about a year and a half, then the tab at the top of the spring loaded rail, cracks. That is with daily use holding a Note 3 in a huge Otterbox Defender case. At nearly full extension, that plastic tab is getting almost the full pressure from the internal springs. At this price I would call that a great value, and I am no fan of plastic! 5Love the new spring tension I've been using this for years. After 2 years the spring inside broke. However this was because I had to remove one spring since the tension was too strong. So all the stress was now put on just one spring. I was pleased to discover that the new version of this (the one sold here) has a lower tension on the 2 springs. This time I didn't need to remove the 2nd spring which I'm sure will give it a longer life. I also like that this company offers each of the components separately so I don't have to buy a whole new set if just the arm or cradle needs replacing.Finally, if you are buying this as a replacement you can still use the same wires and mounts from the old one. Everything fits together fine. 5Disappointed it wasn't full kit. Received today. Was disappointed it wasn't the entire kit as i have purchased this item before. I clicked "buy it again" as it was in my previous orders. Not sure how that translated to just the holder during processing. But i will keep it to replace the worn out holder of my current full kit that I've used almost daily for 4 yrs and 4 different sized phones w/otterbox defender cases with no issues. 3:) :) 5I don't like universal car docks, but... I don't like universal car docks. That said, I had an iBolt dock for my Galaxy, but would not fit for my new Droid Turbo. Apparently no one makes custom docks anymore. This is one of the few universal docks that doesn't have constant pressure on the volume controls. Since I already had an iBolt mount, I took the suction cup and put this holder right on it. The spring clamp is strong, which holds the phone securely, but may be too hard for some people to put the phone in and out. I just wedge the phone under the back part of the clamp and push up. I use my own 2A power cord. There are guides on the back, to keep the cord in place and ready to plug in. I would prefer a custom built dock, with a built-in charging port, but this is the next best thing. 5The iBolt xProDock holder works well to securely hold my ... The iBolt xProDock holder works well to securely hold my Galaxy Note 4 with a Seidio Dilex slim case. The phone does not slip even on rough roads. The only negative is that you may need two hands to load and remove the phone from the holder if you leave the mounting bracket loose enough to allow rotation between portrait and landscape modes. 4Great Product I use this for my Galaxy S7 and my wife uses it for her iPhone 6+. Both fit with no problems. I've been using this system for about 3 years until it broke from repeated use. New replacement part was easy to swap out and made me fall in love with my dock all over again. 5You won't regret this purchase! Amazing! Wouldn't buy or use anything else. I mainly use Samsung Note devices, with bulky cases due to work demands. These hold up amazingly. Reason why I have 5 is because after I initially purchased mine, I found myself having to remove it and put it in my second car, and etc. So I purchased a second. Then, my family members kept going through their cheap $5 ones, so they decided to try these.Careful, you still need the Rok 3 Suction Mount since this is just the holder. They work in unison. 5Secure smartphone mount that works very well! Best I have used! I purchased this iBolt xProDock holder for my car a few months back. It was a replacement for the first one I bought (that came with the window suction cup mount). Although I was very disappointed that the top piece of plastic that holds the phone firmly cracked in half, I should be happy that it lasted for over 3 years! I used it every day and the past year and a half, with a Samsung Note 4 - which is a very large phone which put a lot of stress on it. This full iBolt xProDock holder and window mount work great! I have never had one problem with the hold until now. The suction cup has never fallen off of my windshield. This holder is made of strong plastic and some metal and is adjustable for just about any size phone (remember, I have a 5.7 screen on my Note 4). It also has 2 adjustable mounts on the bottom so it will secure your phone with simplicity. I effortlessly removed the old mount and placed this one on my current iBolt windshield mount. You can use this holder with a few different iBolt mounts such as the windshield mount, vent mount, and miniball mount. You can also use any standard 17mm mount with a small ball. As for the shipping, it was packed well and there were no dents or rips in the shipping material. It arrived within a few days of when I purchased it.So far, I am very pleased with this smartphone holder.
