Customer Reviews

This sink had rust spots within 2 days of install This sink looks nice when you open the package but don't be fooled. Mine showed rust spots within two days. It also scratches easily. I sat a small plastic container on the bottom and it scratched the sink. I contacted Zuhne customer service about the rust but they did not respond. I am stuck with it as it is undermounted on the granite. I don't know if I was one of the unlucky buyers because this sink had good reviews. 1Very poor, terrible quality The Zuhne sink has been installed for less than 3 weeks and has been barely used because the kitchen space is still unfinished. However, it has already started to show small dots of rust and hard to remove water stains. How can this happen in a barely water exposed stainless-steel finished kitchen sink? I bought this Zuhne kitchen sink based in the product's description as stainless-steel finished, noise reducing undercoat and modern design. I demand the manufacturer acknowledges its responsibility. Also, Amazon shouldn't advertise low-quality products without having tested what manufacturers claim. A couple of pictures attached. I'm available for questions and fuether i formation and feedback as needed. 1You Won't be disappointed! I can't say enough good things about this sink, every aspect of it is designed with uncompromising attention to detail and built to last. The stainless steel is flawless, with pleats bent into the bottom to direct the water to the drain. I read in another customers review that It's so quiet and wanted to see for myself I took out the grate grabbed a table spoon held it level with the top of the sink/counter and dropped it... The spoon made a thud type of sound, there was no pinging, dinging sound at all! The sprayed on rubber insulation and pads installed on about 80% of the underside of the sink do their job great! My granite counter top guys said that this is the first Zuhne sink that he's installed and went on to say he'll be recommending Zuhne to any/all of his customers for sure. Zuhne's website makes references about how good their customer service is, well I'm here to tell you that's 100% true and second to none. I had a couple of simple questions that I wanted to run by Zuhne's customer service folks and their representative that I spoke to (David) was AWESOME! He get' his job; by this I mean that he recognizes that the people calling are "his customers", and he takes responsibility for their needs, he was courteous, knowledgeable! We're 100% satisfied with this sink and couldn't be happier, buy this sink and you won't be disappointed! 5the sink is deep and wide so I am very happy with the dimensions I would have given it a 5 start had I written this when the sink was first installed. However, I recently noticed some rust stains around the sink hole and spread around the basin. Not sure what happened. This is not a kitchen that is used very often, so I don't know how this happened. The positive, the sink is deep and wide so I am very happy with the dimensions. In addition, I like the fact that it came with additional accessories. 3Full disclosure. We received the sink and it looked great. Wrapped in a nice bag and packaging flawless. BUT, in the box was a note that says we can t clean with normal cleaners (like bleach) and it must be thoroughly dried after every use or rust spots will occur. Where was that in the product description? Very disappointing. What sink do you dry every time you use it?!?!?! 1I spent hours on the design of my kitchen and ... I spent hours on the design of my kitchen and the one thing everyone compliments me on is this sink. It's gorgeous. Also, my contractor, who is quite critical, actually praised me on the quality of the sink. Plus, Zuhne company has old fashion customer service where they respond quickly and appropriately to any questions or concerns. It's one of the very very few things I actually don't regret from the renovations. 5Highest quality, lowest price, best decision! I recently remodeled our entire kitchen and I endlessly researched single basin sinks. I wasn't impressed with the price or quality of the sinks at Home Depot or Lowes. I ultimately decided to go with this sink and it was the best decision.I know it can be nerve-racking to purchase something "blindly" online but this is the best quality, design, and functional sink I've ever seen.My cabinet guy and countertop guy have each been in the business for over 20 years and they both indendently complemented the sink's quality and style. They were floored when I told them how much I got it for, too!I want to debunk a couple of the other negative reviews about this sink. This sink:-scratches easily: all stainless steel sinks scratch just as "easily," but the grate that comes with the sink is perfect for preventing scratches. If you're overly rough on your sink and don't use the provided grate, yes, your sink will scratch. But so would any other sink. That's not unique to this particular sink and therefore not a valid concern.-hard to clean: all single basin sinks can accumulate small particles of food/gunk in the corners. All you have to do is rinse out the sink with your sprayer after you wash dishes. Easy. My husband and I are both very clean people and have never found this to be an issue. Also, double basin sinks are more sloped/angled at the corners so you don't run into this problem as much, but with very small effort you completely rid yourself of this problem. Again, this is a (minor) issue of all single basin sinks so it's not a valid concern against this particular sink. This was one of the best purchases I made during our whole kitchen remodel. 5Very happy This thing is amazing. My wife wanted a single drain deep undermount sink and this was it.I removed the old one which was a tad smaller. This zhune was installed with a negative reveal and looks great. It is heavy duty steel.Didn't use their provided drain strainer as I opted for a garbage disposer instead. Also didn't use provided mounting clips as I was not gonna drill into my granite.I used gorilla adhesive and used permanently attached 2x4s to hold up sink. Install was a tad difficult by I attribute that to my cabinet space limitations. All in all a great buy. Very good value. 5Beautiful, heavy duty and expensive looking Super nice heavy duty sink. Good size and really deep. Attractive drain, removable basket with handle and grid that comes with it to protect the base of the sink from scratches .I wanted almost square corners but slightly rounded for easy cleaning for a modern lookIt has thick sound deadening pads glued to the sides/bottom. I am a plumber and wanted something a bit fancy and wear resistant for my upscale rental property. If this was Kohler or another big brand name it would cost $600-1200 without the grid and drain.Only problem I had and it has nothing to do with the sink is my foolish granite guy cut the opening a little big so I can see 1/8" of the flat rim all the way around. I feel somewhat responsible because i assumed it was automatic and just common sense. When you have yours cut ask they overlap the inside of the sink by 1/4". It looks really cool and modern. 5we like it a lot! fits 33 inch cabinet perfectly I have a 33 inch cabinet and this fit perfectly into it and we didn't have to use any supports since the edge is right on the cabinet edge. I saw from other reviews that 16 gauge was the way to go. We were using a cheap double one from the store, it cost us way more than it should have. after we ordered our granite I decided to look on amazon for a single sink, my husband even ask why are they usually double? I guess he never had to do dishes before dishwashers :) we were surprised how heavy this sucker is, it's like what you would see in restaurants, very deep. It came with a template to give the granite guys and everything went smoothly on install day. I recommend that you check and clean it after they leave. He had left a lot of silicone smears that I wish I had removed promptly instead of hours later trying to scrub it off. the sink came with the drain with a nice filter and plug but since we installed a garbage disposal, we didn't use it. I don't think i'll use the rack either. the towel is very nice. 5
