    Good systems! Worth buying! Ok. Packaging was nice. The bullet cameras have a metal housing which looks and feels durable. The white blended in nicely with my house (which is also white). The setup was relatively easy. Took a little long to figure out the remote viewing but wasn't too hard. The day quality is really good, Super clearI did have a little issue with some of the dome cameras but Zosi customer service contacted me and was very accommodating . I was able to keep the camera system and they fixed the issue.Definitely worth buying and if you have any issues, Customer service is great (Responsive and accommodating). 5Updated 3/2019 Its better, but not good yet Terrible app, doesn't work at all away from home. Can't fast forward through recordings. You can't use a keyboard with the interface. The DVR reboots itself constantly. I should have gone with a different brand, this is awful. Find another one people. End original review.Update 3/2019I'm updating to 3 stars as they have fixed some issues with the app. I can now see the DVR away from home. It's still pretty buggy though because if you view your cams, then go to another app and go back into Zosi View, you have to close the app first and re log in, then select all the cameras. It's kind of a pain but I'm glad its working. Also the fast forwarding through the recordings is extremely clunky. Technically, you can go back and review the recordings but it will take you awhile to try and pinpoint as it seems to skip to the times you select. It needs a super fast playback frame by frame so you can better pinpoint what you want to see. And forget about trying to review the recordings through your phone...better use the DVR connected TV for that.Also, I was having some issues with the DVR and Zosi sent me another one under their warranty, so they did stand behind their product which is great! If they could just fix that app bug, this could be a 4 star product due to the value of what you get for the money. Also the PC client is pretty buggy as well, but works. 3Over All great system, And Zozi stands behind every product they sell with outstanding customer service! This is my 12th security camera install. I have always liked the Zosi brand so when my home needed a upgrade I went with Zosi. To be honest I ordered 2 of the 8 channel 720P DVR + 8 camera setups, just for the 16 cameras. It was just as cheap to order the complete set as opposed to ordering just the cameras separate. I will keep the 2 DVRs for a future jobs.I was disappointed when I opened the box for the dome cameras and saw they where "PLASTIC" housings. I almost sent back both systems right there. Zosi in the past has always used aluminum housings on their dome cameras. Plastic will eventually fade and become brittle with UV exposure. I was also disappointed that two of the bullet cameras had stripped screws as I will be contacting the seller directly to get remedied (Seller has been known to have great customer service) I am sure they will work with me to fix the problem.I was pleased with the quality of the 720P vs my old 800 and 1000 TVL cameras. The setup was easy as expected, plug and play and you are done. I was originally worried as I run my cameras through OdiySurveil baluns (See pic) as it makes it easier to run 2 network cables then 8 separate Siamese's (I would highly recommend for any security install, you still need power but easier then "home running" each camera feed) Overall I would order the products again. Thanks Zozi!!!!!******************UPDATE***********************Zosi customer service is outstanding, I had 2 bullet cameras that must have been a bad batch and Zosi was quick to remedy the problem and sent me 4 new 1080P cameras to replace the 720P. I have been a life long Zosi fan and this outstanding customer service seals the deal for all my future security camera install needs. Thanks Zosi for being so understanding and just plain awesome! 5How is it so cheap For $130 I got 8 cameras and a Dvr without a hard drive. The cameras are actually way better than I expected although they aren t very wide angle. Hookup is easy (hit enter when you make a password and not ok ). The downside is the UI on the Dvr and on the iPhone app. It s a nightmare to use. My buddy spent 1k on his security system and it s almost identical. For some reason they are all horrible. A security system with a quality UI like ring you will spend over $200/camera plus a monthly fee so that wasn t an option. Finding recorded footage is like pulling teeth on this thing but hopefully it will be possible if anyone ever tries to break in. So for the price I give it an easy 4 stars but if I had spent a grand like my buddy, I would be mad. 4You definitely get what you pay for With these cameras, you get what you pay for. I was surprised with all of the features of the system, but you can tell that the system is cheaply made. It does however get the job done, but their customer service is almost non-existent, and it's very hard to find out any information on the system.The night vision sensor is a cool feature, but it's also a pain because the sensor flips on and off multiple times within a ten-minute period or longer. The sensor will keep flipping from night vision to daytime Vision on and off repeatedly making loud click sounds.It does however do what it's supposed to do, however I wish the quality was a little bit better for the night vision, which is when most instances occur that you would need to replay video from.The outdoor cameras held up well througg hurricane Irma oh, and never had one interrupt in video feed during the storm until we lost power. I would recommend to anyone with a system like this to get a emergency battery backup, that you can also find on Amazon for a relatively cheap price. This gives you potentially a couple hours of electricity to your cameras after your home's power has shut off.The the app for this camera is my most disliked. Connection issues on the biggest issue, with no ability to access the cameras without your phone being connected to WiFi. Setting up your registration for the app to your cameras is also very hard. It took me several days before it finally allowed me to create an account and log in.Overall, if you are going to be getting a security system for your home or business, I would probably just spend the extra money to buy a better quality system made some place other than China. The system definitely does what it's supposed to do, but for a few extra bucks you can buy a much better system that's more compatible with adding new cameras, a much better quality app, and loads of other features that were missed in the system. 3Good system I got the 4 cameras without the HDD. For what I paid for it's excellent. The picture is vary clear in both day and night. I was fearful of low quality because of the price. The draw backs and the reason i didnt give it 5 stars are that the camera top plate falls off very easily, so be careful when installing. Another draw back is that the cameras can not turn right nor left so some of your videos might be side ways. What i did about the memory part was I thought the 500 gb internal hard drive because it was the one that made the most sense and most reasonably priced. It was really easy to do, just open the dvr box and just plug it in. Really simple and they have videos on how to do it. 4Software for android makes it all unusable basically The software for the phone is absolutely atrocious. Half the time, you login and every camera has no picture, even though you check on the actual dvr system, and it'll be showing picture. The notifications for phone also turns off regularly, you have to turn it on every time you reopen the app, which is ridiculous, I want to be notified for movement in certain cameras, but that's totally impossible with this system. I might be returning it, it's a total waste of time if you wanted it to easily be able to check your cameras from your phone on the road. I can't get it to email me for movement notifications, there's no instructions for that in the bookI emailed support this morning, and haven't received a reply 9 hours later. 1Amazing deal. Very pleased. After purchasing many brands, I can say that I am very happy that Zosi delivered a quality product. The price is unbelievable, because the camera housing is rock solid and the mounting positions are infinite using their brackets. I purchased a brand Elec and the limited views and cheap materials caused a few cameras to break. These were sturdy, easy to screw into the house siding/walls, and deliver a crisp picture thru the dvr into my tv where I hooked it up. I prefer the bullet style because they are easier to mount and seem to have a wider viewing angle. This dvr is simple to use and work instantly with a hard drive that I bought separately and stuck inside with the 2 easy connections (which are pre installed in this unit). Even the wires connecting the cameras to the dvr are of a higher quality than my previous tries with brands. I am so happy to have finally discovered an affordable brand that did not let me down, and I feel very secure with 8 cameras continuously recording my house inside and out. The photos speak for themselves. 5I understand some stuff is just bad and not the companies fault I bought this about 7 months ago. I had an issue with 2 cameras and reached out to Dealer through amazon. Kelly Chan contacted me and shipped out 2 replacements right away. I understand some stuff is just bad and not the companies fault. I had an issues with my DVR locking up and e-mailed Kelly Chan directly and she had a new DVR shipped to me in about 1 week. I have not had any more Issues and this company's customer service is top notch. The system does what I need it to. setting it up for motion detection is a little tricky but their website has videos to help you through it. Kelly Chan is on my A list for customer service. Job well done. 5Do Not Buy if you need remote viewing. Cameras work good. Installation is easy. Playback from the DVR recorder is usable, but not very good. It's laggy and difficult to use.DO NOT BUY IF you need REMOTE VIEWING. The IOS App Zosi View does NOT work 90% of the time. Remote viewing and playback only works 10% of the time. The rest of the time there's a 'connect failed' message. If you need to monitor your cameras remotely, do not buy this. 2
