    You get what you pay for... As has been said by so many others, these are excellent tools. They are made with a proper tool alloy (as are all Wiha/Wera/Felo/etc. German hand tools), instead of the cheap stuff used by the "precision" screwdrivers that come in the plastic box. Yes, these are $30 instead of $7-8, but if you don't abuse them or use them for inappropriate tasks, they should outlast you. Ask yourself what your time is worth the next time you break a cheap screwdriver mid-task and have to drop what you're doing and drive to the store.Not sure why anyone would care, but just FYI, the canvas pouch is now black instead of green. Other than that, it's the same. 5The Best Value in a Screwdriver I assembled a set of these Wilha screwdrivers and am immensely pleased. They are well made, comfortable to use, and high quality German steel. How many cheap $10 sets of mini drivers have I used up? The Wilha are precision instruments, and will last a lifetime. One ding, is that the canvas pouch can't be rolled up tightly, but rather folded over. It's a small detail, and I willing to live with it so as not to have made my own. I use these every day. 5Wiha is to Cheap Chinese Tools as Solid Wood is to Ikea Furniture I vividly remember the day I decided to bite the bullet and pay more for a quality set of screw drivers. I had just turned a new set of cheap Chinese made screwdrivers from a big box hardware store into a bunch of ice picks and candy canes. While the purchase price of Wiha tools were significantly higher, you will never have to replace your tools in the middle of a project simply to complete it. 10 years later, I am still happy with these Wiha screwdrivers. 5The best of the best, magnitudes ahead of any other set in this category and class I've ever used Wahoo! What a difference these make. I replaced an iPhone 6+ screen and initially used what I thought was a pretty good screwdriver set. Then these arrived. The difference is night and day. Although I can't tell even using a 10X loupe, but somehow these fit the tiny apple phillips screws EXACTLY. It's amazing what a difference these make in being able to repair delicate electronic components and devices. I'm very impressed, and that doesn't happen very often. 5Overall I like the ones that are here and I will be ... I purchased these small screwdrivers a month ago and have used them several times since receiving them. They are finely made and seem to be much stronger a more durable than the cheap sets you buy in local hardware stores for under $15. I was always frustrated with the cheap ones where the metal used seemed not to be up to heavy torsion. There are four slothead screwdrivers and four phillips head screwdrivers with this set and them come in a lightweight canvas folder. My two reasons for not giving the fifth star are that for small work on electronics I would much rather have a 1.5 slothead screwdriver than the 4.0 screwdriver which is close to the size of a small regular screwdriver. The second reason is the price of $33.83 is about $10 higher than what I think they are actually worth - it is expensive. Overall I like the ones that are here and I will be using them often, but I just think that there is a a little room for improvement on the deal. 4The finest screwdrivers out there for the model engineer I use these in my machine shop on the small steam engines I build, and they are the very best screwdriver for the job.The blades are precision ground, the swivels are excellent, and every time I use one I feel it is securely gripping the fastener. What great tools.These introduced me to the Wiha name. When I needed a tiny nut driver a few months ago I checked first to see if Wiha made them, and they did. If you like these, you will love their nut drivers. 5Quality tools to do the job right I have used Wiha products several years from scewdrivers to nut drivers and have always found their tools to be made to the highest standards and machined to and very precise fit. If you are looking for quality tools you cant go wrong with Wiha. They are a bit pricey if you are comparing them to Stanley and other companies of the sort, however you really should compare them to the more high end tool makers such as mac and snap on in which case they are at a very fair price point and will give you years and years of excellent service and are also backed by a lifetime guarantee. 4Inspect Carefully These are really quality precision screwdrivers. I'm really happy to have a complete set in proper condition.That being said, I had to order this set 3 times in a row before I finally got a 260 / 1,0 x 40 screwdriver that had a correct blade. The first set contained a screwdriver without a blade at all (the right-most screwdriver in attached pictures.) The second set contained a screwdriver with a properly sized blade, but the blade was curved/bent (middle screwdriver in attached pictures.) The third set finally contained a screwdriver with a straight, properly sized blade.I'm not sure if there's a general QA problem at Wiha... Or maybe Wiha's QA is usually really good and this was like getting struck by lightning twice (in a bad way.) I've only bought their long-shank precision screwdriver set before this, and that was really good quality. In fact, in my 3 orders of this specific set, every other screwdriver looks and performs phenomenally except for the 2 defective 260 / 1,0 x 40 screwdrivers.I liked the Wiha screwdrivers enough to keep ordering until I got the screwdriver I paid for. But 1 out of 3 isn't great odds when you're buying tools over the Internet.Long story short, I still think this set is worth purchasing *so long as you don't end up with any defects.*Be vigilant and check your screwdrivers as soon as your package arrives.Note: I noticed in some reviews that people may have mentioned that some sets may not have been manufactured in Germany? All 3 of the sets I ordered say "Made in Germany" on every single screwdriver. Just FYI in case anyone needed to know. 4CMV tool steel is the best there is Chromium-molybdenum-vanadium, CMV, alloy steel is the reason to get this set of Wiha precision drivers, or any competitor drivers such as Xcelite Xcelite XP600 6-Piece Precision Slotted and Phillips Screwdriver Set. Wiha however, offers more driver sizes and a case compared to the equivalent Xcelite.CMV alloy is used from aircraft landing gear to gun barrels with the actual percentage of the key ingredients determining its ultimate strength compared to other CMV mixtures; regardless, any CMV is far stronger than plain steel, and often of steel made of CM or CV only.Precision drivers have tiny thin tips, and hand torque can easily deform or snap tips made of softer metals; I've destroyed many cheaper drivers this way. You can buy almost 4-10 sets of Chinese made Home Depot or no-name brand precision drivers against one Wiha set that could last you a few projects, or none. Alas, cheap drivers can break or deform when you least expect it, or its machined poorly and outright deforms the screw head, adding more to your repair work, or bring it to a halt until a new driver is found.There was a time steel tools in the US were made of good alloys, but today you can get drivers that look good, but of poor quality steel. Consumers cannot confirm the type of steel in a product because testing is destructive and highly specialized. You'll have to take the makers word for it that its really CMV steel and trust them; unknown brands could simply label it fraudulently and charge more, so maker reputation is key to good steel. Xcelite stamps the makeup of some tools on the handles.Drivers can be out of alignment with the handle or worse, as some negative reviews mention. Its not obvious at first glance, but closer inspection shows I have one in my set and is posted on the photos. Based on the finishing on the shaft, the Wiha driver is a slight bit more economically made compared to typical Xcelite, but Wiha models are so widely available.Given Wiha's reputation, I'd simply exchange it as the chances are the replacement will be fine. Perusing Xcelite, I noticed even their promotion photo, the 2nd driver from the right is slightly out of alignment with the handle, see photo Xcelite XP600 6-Piece Precision Slotted and Phillips Screwdriver Set; the shaft is slightly to the right and you can see it on the shadow.A less than mathematically perfect driver can be still be practically perfect, so absolute straightness may not be necessary, so I rate Wiha drivers an excellent value. There is no reason to settle for less than perfection, but the CMV tool makers are few today, so one may have to compromise with minor imperfections, and its easy to exchange Amazon purchases. 5The best screwdriver set I've purchased and owned These are very high quality screwdrivers. The material used for constructing these screwdrivers are incredible. These will not break nor bend. The grab is second to none. If I'm working on delicate screws I trust in using these Wiha screwdrivers to get me through a tough job. When I'm working on a difficult project the last thing I need is poor quality tools. These set cost more than your typical set but well worth the investment. I highly recommend the Wiha brand. 5
