Customer Reviews

For your health, get it.I have never had a problem with plaque. I came back to the U.S. from two years in West Africa, and my dentist looked at my teeth and said I have no plaque on my teeth, BUT they are cracked! I am a person who eats chicken bones down to shards...if I have KFC, there will be a tiny pile of bone shards left on the plate when I'm done. I eat all of the cartilage, then I split the bone and chew all of the marrow out of it...I'm a savage. I'm no longer doing that because I'm mostly plant-based these days (with occasional wine and cigarettes). On Dec. 27th, I had my 3rd molar removed. It had been capped, twice. It hurt for three years because it was cracked, so I had it removed, turns out it was the second healthy tooth I had removed for no reason. WV dentists remove healthy teeth, FYI. I bought this machine to clean around the three isolated teeth I still have. I have three islands that are not easy to floss "between". This is a good-looking appliance! It doesn't take up a lot of room on the sink, and it has three heads with different colors, so I load it up for my husband at bedtime (he grew up in CA with fluoride in his water and has no cracked teeth, but he has a pocket of gingivitis the dentist is watching). He flosses in the morning, but not on the weekends! He has major plaque in his lower teeth when he doesn't floss, I don't have that because my saliva is different, apparently.5Effective Product with Great Customer ServiceI purchased the Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser in January 2018 after my dentist recommended it. I waited until July to provide a review, because I wanted to wait until I had a follow-up visit with my dentist. When they made the recommendation, they informed me that I was beginning to get some plaque buildup, which might require a deep cleaning. They suggested that I try the Waterpik for six months and come back for a follow-up appointment. I just had the visit, and there was a marked improvement, and no need for deep cleaning. I have used the device daily for the last six months, and now feel confident that it really does help improve your oral health. It is also (for me, at least) very pleasant to use. While it is noisy, my teeth feel that kind of clean after visiting the dental hygienist after every use. I further recommend the product because of the great customer care from Waterpik. The reservoir on my device recently started leaking. I first went to the Amazon site to see if I could buy a replacement, and it isn't offered. I then went to the Waterpik site, and they don't offer replacement tanks for this model either, so I started an online chat with them. They asked a few simple questions, and then offered to send an entire new unit to me at no cost. Really great customer service was instant, and they clearly support their products aftermarket. Following is the link to the model I bought: Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser Designer Series, White, WP-6705like it better I have had the other waterpik for as long as I can remember. you know the blue and white one. I like this one better. easier to turn knob for pressure during spray. easier to light touch, and I mean light touch to turn on and off. it doesn't push the whole container across the sink area. I never leave water inside with Listerine mix. I do turn the glass around to dry better and I hang the sprayer upside down on the first loop for better drying out. I did have mold build up on other one and occasional pulled it apart to clean. I'm hoping this one doesn't do that. I have used water pik for decades and it is the only way I get chunks of food out between my teeth. And my dentist hygienist cleans twice a year never gets blood. 5If you hate flossing, this is for you!Edit:Took this down by one star. I found out from my dentist that old-school flossing is still better than using this. Floss creates a friction that this doesn't have. :( So I've been using both...Original Post:Waterpik! Where have you been all my life?? Seriously, if you hate flossing because it's either annoying, tedious, awkward or all of the above, invest in this. It's worth it!Admittedly, I wouldn't say this device necessarily saves you time, but it's simple to use, and I find it easier than going old school. You can adjust how powerful you want the spray to be, so for those really tight spots, you'll want to crank it up full blast. (Otherwise, you may have to bring out the ol' dental floss...and then what's the point of having this thing??)It'll take a few tries to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, you'll kick yourself for not getting one sooner.By the way, this model does not come with a tongue cleaner, so I'm gonna have to figure out where to buy that attachment, because other models do include it.4Purchased in April 2019, failed in September 2019, worked only 5 monthsThis was our second Waterpik, we loved it when it worked! Our first Waterpik, Water Flosser WP-662 was purchased on August 22, 2017 and it lasted until the beginning of April 2019, lasting just over 19 months until it just quit working, the motor would no longer turn on. We thought 19 months was a short lifespan but didn't feel like following up with any warranty action so simply purchased another one, Water Flosser WP-672, on April 11, 2019. Was just as happy with the flosser as the first one, but tonight, September 8, 2019, went to use it and the same problem as the first one, the motor no longer works, so not quite 5 months!. We do use GE surge protectors in addition to the standard GFI protection on the bathroom plug and the other devices plugged in are still working. I will be calling about the warranty on this one, so will update on the results of that. Just overall disappointed as we like it and hate having to now experiment with other brands to find one we like as much.1Love it!Excellent quality and SO much easier than flossing! Tips can go in the dishwasher. The unit is easy to operate.- Other reviews have mentioned the lines getting dirty from standing water. When you're done using it, if you'll hold the unit up in the air (about shoulder height) and the wand down in the sink all the water will run out of the coiled line. Thank you gravity! You won't have any water in the lines if you drain the line this way after each use.- Others have also mentioned the lines blowing out, well.... these things are like mini pressure washers. If you leave the pump turned on and the valve turned off the pressure has no way to escape and you're going to blow the line just like you would on a water hose or pressure washer.5Simple AMAZING Oh my goodness! I had forgotten how well a waterpik works and am delighted with this purchase. I use it twice daily with warm water and my teeth and gums feel fabulous. The size has greatly improved over the older models. I use only the one pik but it came with several. I also use the hardest setting and don't get wet at all using this product. The instructions are simple and helpful. I do floss my teeth before using this and am amazed by how much better the waterpik gets out every single bit of food particle that flossing missed. Can't wait to go back to the hygenist (who recommended this product) to see how perfectly clean my teeth are. Prepare to be amazed with this product! 5Started failing after a yearI bought one of these units in Feb 2016. It was working great. My teeth felt clean all the time and I did not have gum pain anymore from bactrera and food stuck between my teeth. After about a year, I noticed that when I had the machine on 6, the motor would slow down a few seconds into the cleaning, and it would loose pressure. I wouls have to crank up the machine to 8 or 9.Now I was using it at 8 since 6 wasnt working.. And now at 8 the machine is loosing pressure. I wonder if the motor/pump are crapping out, a year and a half after I bought it.I will contact the manufacturer to see how i can get it serviced under warranty3poor product quality I don't think there is an option for zero star.... too badvery bad qualitybroke less than a year after purchasewill not recommend this item for that money, poor product, poor reflection on WaterpikBuy it only if you want to give your money away to Waterpik 1Received this New Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser.. ...Received this New Waterpik Aquarius Professional Water Flosser...on September 7, 2017 and today, January 10, 2018 the motor just gave out. My previous Water Pick Water Flosser lasted 5 years and did not pay as much as my new more expensive recent broken device.1Product is great. Waterpic customer servThe unit stopped working after 1 use. I called waterpic directly.they will replace the unit in a time frame of 5 to 10 business days. Amazon delivered the product when I purchased it the next day. Don't go to the manufacturer for issues as directed in their packaging. Amazon resolves issues immediately.1Its great but upset on the price.Awesome and works great. Kind of upset that Walgreeens and Walmart have it finish much cheaper.4Buyer Beware, No Warranty! My Waterpik 670 stopped working in 4 months and Waterpik refused to replace or repair it. Waterpik claims it comes with a 3 year warranty but does not honor the warranty. The customer service is poor and they give you every excuse they can find. This is an expensive product but made very poorly. Very disappointing, I will not buy a Watepik again!1
