best there is my GF gave me the original $33 2 pack of these for xmas a while ago. i liked them so much I wanted more.i think the extra $30 on this is worth spending based upon getting the nice shelf and other accessories. if you bought them separately it would be WAY more than $30 bux more.this stuff is well made, hangs great, and looks awesome in my shop. I have 4 of these guys all lined up giving me a massive pegboard surface. I even velcro'd an android tablet to one of them which acts as my music controller for my NAS and wifi stream to my garage.everything u see in pic is included and is of very high quality. these guys make pegboards and accessories right and this stuff is U.S.A.i have already recommended this product to many friends and they all love it. Trust me - this is a no brainer.I hung mine into 5/8" sheet and pre drilled with 1/4" bit for the anchors. Bolted up nice and strong, bullet proof, will last forever. buy it. 5but found that curtain pins work great, I manage to hook pliers and anything with ... bought two sets of these for extra too storage in boiler room. Never enough hooks, but found that curtain pins work great, I manage to hook pliers and anything with a loop on those, saved a lot by improvising.Just use them upside-down of the intended direction. 5Strong, versatile and good looking I have never like "pegboard" because of it's fragility and general look. These panels are awesome! Strong, durable, and good looking! Super easy to mount and if mounting directly to wall, no "standoff" is needed. The included hooks are a great design and can be adjusted so they won't pull out when removing a tool. The shelves are very strong and the entire system is very functional. I am thinking about putting some elsewhere inside the house. The option of using regular pegboard hooks as well just increases the versatility of these panels. 5Assorted Hooks And Brackets NOT Worth The Higher Price Tag. Buy Simple Kit Instead. I want to first make it absolutely clear that I really like the Wall Control line of peg boards, I have 6 of them in my garage. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is the assorted hooks and brackets; they're simply NOT worth the extra cash. You'd be better off buying the 2 board kit for $34, then buy a cheaper assortment of hooks, etc., or make your own shelves and other useful items with wood (check YouTube). Again, I really like the peg boards, but the hooks and brackets included in this kit are few and limited. I'm planning to buy 2 more boards, but will skip this combo and go with the simple one instead. 3Genius product! This metal peg board is genius! I'm using the galvanized in my kitchen to hang my cookware and a few other items. It looks great with my stainless steel appliances. I built a spice rack in the wall between studs and screwed a piano/continuous hinge down one side of a 30" X 18" panel, installed magnetic catches, and now it makes a great door as well. See the pictures but bear in mind it's a work in progress. 5Fantastic Organization This organization system is exactly what we needed! It installs super easy and is very sturdy after installation. We were constantly looking through 5 tool boxes every time we needed something and now all of our most used items are right at hand. I am really glad that I read the reviews because another user mentioned that you need to make sure the spacing between the panels is accurate if you plan to place any of the accessories across the middle line (second photo). After you install the first panel, just place one of the long accessories across the middle line and mark your 6 screw spots after :). 5Solid and easy to set up and lots of ways to hang ... Solid and easy to set up and lots of ways to hang the pegs, hooks, etc. However, the installation instructions say 'Due to sheet metal edges...' that gloves are strongly recommended when installing. Should have said 'Due to edges sharper than an Exacto blade...' So, caution, these edges are literally razor sharp and will lay open a finger if you so much as rub against them when opening the plastic. I didn't need stitches but managed to filet the inside of a finger. Should have read the instructions first I guess. 4Overall good quality and worth the money. Overall, I'm impressed with the final result. They look great, were super easy to install, and function as advertised if you use their pieces. The only complaint, which I was aware of before purchasing, is other brand hooks not fitting properly. That is true but I like their products ( fits into the long slots) better anyway and they look better. I would recommend this product to anyone trying to bring some life to their garage. Now I just need to work on what's going where. 4Much better than standard pegboard Much better than standard pegboard for two reasons:A) Wood/paper pegboard degrades over time from use, moisture, age. I doubt that applies to metal.B) Items that attach by the slots are secure, very secure once the small tabs on each accessory.Installation was a snap. I attached them in the basement on concrete block with Tapcon screws. The panels are flexible enough to handle the not-so-perfect surface of concrete block.A WARNING about INSTALLATION. The panels should not be butted up against each other. There should be a 1/4" to 3/8" gap between them. Why is the gap necessary? If you want to install a shelf, for example, that SPANS two panels the panels have to be precisely spaced. Note that in the marketing photograph nothing spans the two panels. What I did was install one panel, hold the second panel roughly in the right place, then I installed the "bars" that are used for the shelf and bins such that they spanned the two panels (ok, I had my son help!). Thus I was able to determine the appropriate gap between the panels.Only suggestion for the manufacturer is to offer wider panels, but not for my benefit because I doubt that I will ever have to replace them :) 5REALLY NICE SYSTEM, wish panels were exactly 16" wide for easier installation This pegboard is a fantastic addition to our garage organization system we've been working on getting things tidied up with various craftsman drawer systems and now needed something to house our "often used" items.PROS:- sturdy, high-quality- secure hook system (easy multi-step process to attach hooks and hardware makes them fit very securely into board)- easy and secure to mount (though we found out our studs in the garage weren't exactly 16" apart, still these panels are solidly attached)- great look (we chose the steel and red combination)- included accessories give many options for mounting items + can purchase additional hardware (we ordered this set: Wall Control KT-200-DLX R Slotted Storage Panel Deluxe Hook Kit, Red)- can use strong magnet hooks on these panels alsoCONS:- need to be mounted with slight gap in between panels to be able to install shelf or similar across panels (the panels aren't exactly 16" wide, they are a tad smaller, so this adds a bit more measuring and time to installation)Overall, we're happy with the sturdy quality and sleek look. We like that it's easy to rearrange the hooks (still figuring out what to put where, an in-progress photo is attached) and take items off the wall (so far we haven't had issues with the hooks coming off). We have a bit more space to the right of the boards, so we're thinking of adding another panel to increase our storage. 4
