Works for a 32 Vizio We re using this on a small 32 Vizio. The screw holes on the tv lined up to the ones on the main plate correctly so no adjustments there. I ended up cutting almost 12 from both pipes so I could mount it so close to the ceiling, 2 away. Then I tie-wrapped a power strip to the pipes so I could plug in the tv and fire stick without a bunch of wires going everywhere. The mirror was convenient to hide the power strip cord. It only took me an hour or so but that was lucky. I had 3 critical things work out just perfectly. The ceiling stud was in a perfect spot, after cutting the pipes the holes aligned perfectly, and so on.It came with extension arms for the plate if your tv is larger, they have a lot of adjustment capacity. Frankly there are a so many holes and adjustments on this thing I can t imagine any modern tv within sive range not fitting. The hardware is heavy enough I would guess for anything in their range. Just make sure you tighten everything. 5Well-made, easy to install This easy-to-install mount has a great design. It's totally adjustable for any ceiling angle. A female over 60, I was able to attach it myself above the edge of a cabin loft. Included are nearly every type of bolt or screw that each unique install may require. It's well-made, and I highly recommend it. 5Great tv ceiling mount for garage! Installed this in my garage. Really impressed by the material quality and ability to install so quickly. The only challenge I had was that it didn't have the right screws to mount my Panasonic Viera, so I had to find screws from another tv mount package. Regardless, it adjusts really well. It's relatively easy to install on your own. Also, really grateful to all the peeps who bought this and showed their pics, too! 5Can install flat against a wall. FYI for anyone that wants to hang this on a flat wall surface, the package does not provide instructions on this. Simply, un hook the top pieces of the devices, the 2 small bolts and the 1 long bolt. Then connect the 45 degree swing arm to the bracket by way of the holes at the top of the half round openings. This moves the arm up and away from the bracket so that the arm hangs down flat against the wall - be sure to put back the small bolts.Hope this helps. 4Nice bracket but needs longer post. Nice bracket that comes with tons of hardware to fit pretty much different TV. The only issue I had was that our ceiling is 9 feet high and the post is not long enough to bring down the TV. I was going to buy the extra post but it cost $9.99 plus $10.50 shipping! I found a 1 inch diameter conduit pipe and cut 36 inches in long. Drilled holes on both ends, painted black and used bolts, nuts and washers I bought from the hardware store that cost me $1.49 for all. See pictures and maybe this will help other people. Overall Iike the bracket and you can tilt the TV in different ways as well. 5Very well-designed, strong, with flexible rotations and tilts, with optional parts for different installation situations This ceiling-hung TV mount was selected after comparing a number of competing models. It turned out to be an excellent choice.First, I was impressed by its excellent design, even if I was going to use it with but a lightweight 32"-diagonal TV. It allows rotation and adjustment in 3 dimensions and 2 directions: 1. A full 360 rotation around its vertical shaft. 2. 180 to permit adjusting the TV's orientation from "landscape" mode to "portrait" mode, and infinite in-between positions. 3. Tilting the screen upwards towards the ceiling around 10 and downwards towards the floor around 20 . 4. Adjusting the main vertical shaft closer or further below the ceiling. 5. Tilting the main vertical shaft up to 45 from perpendicular to its ceiling-mount screw plate to permit installation on a vaulted ceiling (with a triangular shim, one could install on an even steeper ceiling).In my case, I needed to center the TV at a shorter distance from the ceiling soffit than the stock mount could accommodate. But after careful measuring using a cardboard template matching my TV's size, it was straightforward enough to hacksaw off a few inches from the bottom of the upper (outer) vertical mounting shaft, and a few inches from the top of the bottom (inner) mounting shaft, in order to achieve the desired height of the TV below the ceiling soffit and above the refrigerator.Second, I was impressed with the variety of screws, nuts, and washers to accommodate common sizes of female VESA-mount threads in the backs of different TV models: 5 mm, 6 mm, and 8 mm, in various lengths. For some reason, my new 2017 Samsung UN32M5300 TV used metric 4 mm ["M4" with 0.7 mm pitch] threads, data bizarrely not provided in Samsung's electronic user guide or webpage specifications for this model, requiring some trial and error and a long internet chat with Samsung to confirm the depth of the hole and its thread and pitch size.So I needed to make a trip to the big box hardware store to get the right screws to mount the TV.The mounting kit also provide the extra mounting arms needed to accommodate VESA spacings of holes larger than from 200x200 mm and up to 400x400 mm. My 100 x 100 TV needed none of these extenders.Third, the mount is as strong as an ox, with four of its heavy-duty lag screws installed deep into my ceiling's joists, I am sure even the heaviest TV could be safely supported, perhaps even an installer doing chinups on the vertical shaft.Fourth, the instructions and parts list were clear and easy-to-follow, and the parts arrived in comparmentalized bags to make easier finding the needed ones to install.My only complaint is that the instructions indicate that one can adjust the tension for the 360 rotation (item 1. above) by loosening or tightening a large hex nut in the bottom of the vertical shaft. In the model I received, there is no nut -- only a round bottom with a huge, female hex hole, estimated to require an 8 mm, 10 mm, or 12 mm Allen (hex) wrench, a rare size even my well-equipped toolbox lacks. Before the TV was mounted, the tension was so tight that one could not rotate the lower section by hand alone. But once the TV was installed, its side edges provided sufficient distance from the vertical axis of the mount for enough leverage to rotate the TV to face in the desired north/south/east/west direction.Others have complained about the kit not providing lock washers. These can be easily purchased and installed by the buyerr. I will not be often rotating the mount, so I dispensed with them, tightening the bolts sufficiently to ensure they will not come loose. 5Stable and secure Works great, had to mount my 55in Samsung 4K Smart TV on the ceiling due to a toddler. Angles are great and works perfect.Pro Tip: Install the base into the ceiling. Install top portion of the extendable pole. Remove lower TV mount by removing the pin. Install TV mount onto TV, then insert mounted extendable pole into the already mounted base. This will save you trouble trying to mount the 4 screws while holding the TV. Tools and a second set of hands are needed. This is a simple and useful tv mount. The parts are all metal and the instructions for mounting the tv were simple and easy to follow.I have a 60 inch Vizio 4k smart TV and I feel confident that it's not going to fall. Also I didn't need the extra extension they threw in as my house is somewhat small. It's easy to change the tilt angle, although you do need tools. It apparently can swing it one direction fairly far if your studs aren't perfectly lines up with where you want the tv. The swivel us solid and smooth.If you plan on using the swivel function at all, I'd recommend running all of your cords to it and then to their plugs using twist ties or something, so your not jerking your cords around all the time. My tv had the power cord coming out the opposite side as all of the AV cables, so it was necessary for me. Make sure all of your lag bolts hit the stud, and pre drill pilot holes, as the instructions suggest, so you don't split out your stud and drop your tv on the ground. Lastly, I was able to hang it and the tv on my own, but I certainly wouldn't suggest it. When it come to sliding the tv into the ceiling mount and print the pin in, you should have a second set of hands. 5Mounted upside-down works well for sloped walls Mounted this in a second story bedroom on a sloped knee-wall. The upper portion of the wall slopes at about a 45-angle to accommodate the roof line/attic and because this wall was retrofitted with rigid foam insulation, it was not a good surface to mount a flat screen to direction. So instead I have just mounted this bracket upside-down on the vertical section of the wall, and it allows the TV to be mounted at an appropriate angle to be viewed from the bed or a chair - not quite the same slope as the wall. It works perfectly as we can watch TV from the bed with no neck strain. 5
