    I love these things I love these things! They really add a "pop" to our christmas trees. (We have two, I use the multicolor in our personal tree, and I use the white and gold on our formal tree.) Note that occasionally they will lose their fluid, suggest you get a set of extra bulbs. Also, if you have then for several years some of the glitter will start to degrade, again easily fixed with replacement bulbs. Highly recommend this product for anyone that wants to add some special sparkle to their tree! 5When he came over for the family party he ran to the tree to see if they were there and clapped in delight that they were I bought these for a "grandchildren's tree" that we set up at our home and was the personal request of one of our little grandsons. The hooks are plastic, so be careful putting them on, but they held well and remained upright. 5They bubble, but you can't see it past the glitter.... I grew up on the colored bubble lights, and thought that I would try something different. I always mix colored and white lights on my tree, and this year I thought I would add something different as I throw out my bad ones. These were not what I had expected. First, the lights are extremely bright, like obnoxiously bright. They are more like light house beacons. There is no way I could put this on my tree and not pass out sunglasses. Also, because the silver glitter is taking up space and swirling around, you cannot see the lights actually bubble. Why then did I buy the bubble light if I can't see it bubbling? These lights are also very large and would probably over power the tree if ordered in abundance. I bought 4 sets of these, and although I am returning them and interested in trying the colored lights, I will probably just purchase two, no more than three strands for my 10ft tree. 2I name my seller in product reviews to help you guys. What I bought was advertised as "Vickerman 7 Light Gold Glitter Bubble Set" Sold by: SeasonWide for $14.58Nice price. Gold glitter. Would match ornaments I already own.What seasonwide sent me was the colored variety.tbh I like them more than the gold glitter ones, just wish they were honest about the color. I still would have bought them for that price, but I'm docking them a star for the mixup. The product page could be a little clearer about the difference in options too. "small" and "7 light" seem to be the same product, while "C7" is just a three pack of bulbs.Unlike the other colored bubble lights for sale these don't have blue in their color scheme. Which I think is awesome. It's easier to work into warm colored decor. I plugged them in, all lights work. some started bubbling immediately.Would order again, but probably from a different seller. 4I use them in a candalabra at Christmas and love how they work I remember these growing up. Our old lights lasted over 20 years then years went by without them where we only used the standard white and multi-color lights. As a surprise, this year I added bubble lights. I bought 3 boxes. 2 for the tree and the other for replacement as needed. A bit pricy, I kept checking the web to find the best prices and quality for months and finally choice these. I have put on the tree for 4 days now and they work great. My husband said our Christmas tree looks great. He has not said that in years. ( Only change really is these lights). Hope you enjoy them too! 5Vickerman 37524- 7 Light Gold Glitter Bubble Light Set Absolutely beautiful! I have bubble lights on my Christmas tree every year. I usually have the yellow and red standard bubble lights and thought that I would mix it up a little. I read some of the reviews that had some problems with the gold bubble lights not bubbling. I find that a characteristic of the bubble light is that you have to let them warm up, after the initial lighting, and sometimes give them a little nudge, dip, or flick to get them in motion. I find that this is part of their charm but some may find this discouraging enough to not order this product. The reviews almost stopped me! I am so happy that I purchased the gold bubble lights they are beautiful! I purchased 6 sets of lights and I hope to purchase more this next season. This seller deserved a five star rating also! The product was as described, packaged properly and delivered in a timely manner. 5White lights are VERY bright! One socket is loose and the light goes on and off. These lights work OK in that they bubble nicely, but are so bright that they overwhelm the rest of the lights on the trees. They almost look like spotlights. The bulb in the bottom of each light is very large and must have a lot of wattage. I had also purchased the colored bubble lights, and they are not as bright because of the colored plastic covers. They appear to be of the same "brightness" as the other colored lights I have on my tree. Also, one of the sockets is defective and the bulb goes on and off. If I tighten the bulb, it goes out. It has to be left somewhat loose to work properly, which is probably not safe. Overall, I would not recommend this product. 3These were horrible sadly! These were horrible sadly!! They are beautiful when lit **IF THEY WORKED** I ordered 2-- and more than half came to me either broken (smashed & empty) or non working. The company refunded my money, but I was upset that the quality is just not there for this product. I have some other clear bubble lights (a different brand) that are beautiful, but the bubbling action doesn't work in most of them any longer. For some reason the colored bubble lights seem to last longer. Not sure what the issue is with the clear brands, but they're just not as good. 1A lot of glitter, all bulbs still contained liquid I was worried that I'd end up with at least one bulb from which the liquid had leaked out, but all of mine arrived intact. All three contained a lot of glitter and are very pretty when lit and bubbling.Incidentally, for those people who wonder how you get an empty bulb but there's no water marks: it's because the bulbs aren't filled with water, they're filled with an organic liquid that has a much lower boiling point that water, which is how they're able to boil with only a small bulb as a heat source. When it leaks, this liquid evaporates quickly and doesn't leave a similar mark behind. 5
