Customer Reviews

Got this to demolish a small deck in the back ... Got this to demolish a small deck in the back of the house. It is still in one piece, but the deck is history. Will likely find other uses for this tool. You can use the pry end for boards and there is a separate hole to assist with larger nails that require 'persuasion' to be removed. It was heavy enough that it can be stepped on to leverage prying without bending or breaking. I have never come across this brand before, so I was not familiar with it. All I know is it worked. 5Did the trick I had ten damaged roof shingles following Hurricane Irma, this tool made my first-time effort at replacing shingles real easy. 5Rip everything apart I basically ripped apart an entire house with this thing. Small size gets it into tight places. I combine it with a rubber mallet and totally tear s**** up. Worth every penny. 5Vaughn B215 15" Long Superbar Vaughn is known for making a fine line of hand tools and hammers. This 15" long pry bar gives theuser a bit more leverage when opening crates, taking down shelves or removing an old fence. The longerthe leverage, the easier the prying, and this 15" bar is just long enough without adding a lot of weight andbulk to your hand. Only thing I note about this bar vs. the shorter Stanley bar I currently have is that thereis a stick on note that says do not hammer on the back of the curved claw, which anyone would normally doto get the bar under a board or nail. Not sure why there is this sticker. Perhaps other users can tell us.The metal should be strong enough for general hammering, but probably not a sledge hammer. 4Nice and easy to use As a window installer I use this when I need to get some stuff too seriously move. Works well does not bend the bar and is strong enough to lift a 300lb window! I can also use it to pull Nails as well. Best flat bar I have owned in 20 years of construction work. 5Superior and indestructible tool Made in USA. This is a superior product. I have owned one (now two) for 20 years. I have used it hundreds of times and have not been nice to it. Still can't seem to damage it---indestructible. This is one of my most used and useful tools. Top quality steel and Made in USA! 5Really well thought out quality pry bar at a fair price. So glad I bought this tool. It has made removal of base boards so much easier than my other pry bars. What a well designed bar it is. It was everything that the other reviewers said it would be. Grabs nails and won't let go till they are removed. The width prevents wall damage. My other bars were too narrow and the wall had to be protected from damage. The radius on each end, the rocker action and the leverage made it a fast fun job. The sharp ends went between wall and baseboard quickly and boom the board was on its way off the wall. Yes, I'm really happy with it. 5800 Nails pulled with ease Had a Shipping Crate with over 800 nails that were shot into boards from both sides. This tool was the best investment and made my life and this project so much easier. I can only compare to a Hammer's nail puller side but i can say is much smoother than using the Hammer. Reasonable price. I had 2 buddies come over and they both work Construction (1- Iron Workers Union & 1- Basic Hammer and Nail Grip) and they both said, "Everyone on Construction Site has The SuperBar now and is very popular". Made me feel even better about the purchase, knowing Pros use it on the regular. The Blade part of the Teeth are kind of sharp but not Razor sharp, so i would recommend caution when using or if not familiar with this type of tool (like me). I recommend this purchase. 5Not the best money can buy It's a functional prybar. It's strong and has sharp teeth so you can wiggle it in a crevice pretty easily. Functionally it's great. However, from a semi-aesthetic manner, it's poorly made, which is heart breaking to see, given the proud exclamation "Made in the USA" right there on the tool. The stamping is horrendous. If you run your finger along the side of the prybar, it's likely you'll get a cut. There are sharp stamping defects. And while you should ALWAYS be wearing safety gloves when you use this tool, I feel that not having sharp sides is not too much to ask for from a supposedly high-quality tool.Similarly, the paint job is poor, in part because the stamping is poorly done. Again, it's a freaking prybar, so who cares about the paint job, right? That's why I say it's functional. Three stars. It gets the job done, but don't expect the best money can buy. I'll bet that Snap-On prybars don't have sharp edges. On the other hand, they probably cost twice as much, so... 3Just what I needed! Everyone needs one of these, right? I accidentally on purpose packed one when I moved out of my last house. It has been invaluable now that I own a home. Unfortunately, someone else accidentally on purpose took mine when she left, so I had to replace it. This one is solid, heavy, and works wonders on everything from pulling nails to prying up rotten floorboards. 5
