    Don't put it off; just do it! The awesome thing about these earmolds is they allow the radio's sound to be directed to my ear privately while also allowing other conversations around me to continue as well. I liked the idea of using an earpiece for the radio, but didn't want to have the sound from the radio earpiece plugged directly into my ear because I wanted to also be able to hear the conversations or movements around me using both ears while also being able to monitor privately what is going on on the radio. Wearing an earmold takes a bit of getting used to, not because it is uncomfortable, but because it is a different feeling at first. Once you're certain you have the correct earmold in the correct ear and the correct way, you'll find that over time, the feeling of having something against your ear becomes natural. 4Good, great, then stiffed! Not only did my department but whole property has the mushroom tips that fall from your ear everytime you move your head. I got a couple spares for myself. But as soon as my fellow officers saw these they bought them from me. So I'm getting 5 more because these make 8-12 hr shifts much easier. This is one of the best products available and at a 3rd the price of uniform shops. They are stiff at first but your earpiece will never fall out again! 10 thumbs up!! UPDATE: Got a few more sets who came from a different seller somehow. They are softer and seem more comfortable but alot less stiff, they seem to move around easier, which is a bad thing, we'll see how they hold up. Disappointing their not the same ones I ordered before. UPDATE: The last ones I got worked great! Sorry I doubted this product, just ordered another half dozen. The title is deceiving and after reordering. 5Wish I didn't put off buying one for so long... It's great! I have avoided using the Earmold buds for about 5 years now. I mentally thought the insert that comes with surveillance was enough. I finally added these to an additional order and have been using it for over a week now.It's great! Comfortable I ordered medium and it feels like a great fit. I love how it still allows you to hear fine out of your listening ear.One piece of advice. the bud kept falling out my ear and I noticed the tube that goes over the top of my ear was sitting 3/8" high. I took out the plastic insert that holds the ear bud from the air tube and trimmed the air tube with a set of diagonal cutters. It's been great since. 5M-U-S-T BUY NOW! Lifesavers on set! I work in television production and when we get assigned walkies, they come with the horrible white earpieces that you have to shove in your ears. They're so bad. I don't use the headsets as often as I should because the standard earpieces are horrible and make my ears hurt. Well THESE puppies are really great! they fit comfortably in my ear and can keep them in all day if I needed to. Not only can I hear production clear in my ear but, since this design allows for an open ear canal, I can also hear the people around me perfectly. As cheap as these are, I buy several pairs and keep them on had in case of anything. I've given a couple of pairs away to help spread the love. 5My original ear piece setup came with a "bud type" ear insert which was comfortable, but I wasn't able to hear ambient sounds .. For any law enforcement or security professionals who use an ear piece, these things are a must have! With these earmolds I can now hear as if I don't have anything in my ear, yet still receive transmissions with clarity. These are very comfortable to wear and I hardly notice them in my ear. However, I wear mine for 12 hours at a time and for the first month of having them my ears were pretty sore until my ears got used to them. Really, it's not different then when your hands develop callouses after a week or so of using a shovel or going to the gym. I recommend these to all of my guys who are interested in getting an earpiece setup. You won't regret it. 5Excellent, especially for the price. I bought this because I wanted a fitted ear mold instead of an ear plug. I didn't really expect much due to the price but figure I wouldn't be losing much if the product was horrible because of the low price. When it came, I got (2) ear molds in my package. Initially I intended on using it primarily for extracurricular activities but after inspecting it and using it once I realized it was a quality product.I started using this for work and it was excellent. The radio traffic comes in perfectly clear, even at low value. After extended use it's still pretty comfortable in the ear. Sometimes I have to check my ear when there is no radio traffic because I'm not sure if it fell out. It never has, it's just that comfortable. Most stores that sell these kind of "tactical" products usually go for at a minimum 5 times the price if not more.The other benefit to having the ear mold is you can hear your surrounding perfectly while still being able to get your radio traffic clearly. With an ear plug, you lose a bit of sound out of that ear which isn't acceptable as far as I'm concerned. Anyways, I'm happy with purchase and WILL buy more of these if I need to in the future. I don't think I will have to buy any replacements anytime soon because the one I've been using for the past few months is holding up well and haven't even had to pull out the second one. 5Perfect These accomplish exactly what I was looking for. I am able to hear my radio clearly, and at the same time I am able to hear outside conversation as well without having to remove the ear mold unlike the old mushroom tip plugs. This is perfect for a security environment where radio traffic is key, but also being able to hear patrons as well. I went ahead with the medium since it's the most common ear size and it fits well. It's a little stiff at first, but eventually softens up. It's a rubbery material and it comes with 2, one left and one right. Never using the mushroom tips again. 5must have I purchased the Valley Enterprises Replacement Medium ear bud for work. Before using this molded earplug I used the style that acts almost as a foam earplug to block sound. I had a difficult problem hearing people speaking to me in the ear I was wearing the ear bud which created a safety issue for me. I purchased these in hope to alleviate the problem of only being able to hear from one ear. The Valley enterprises ear bud has worked better than imagined it could of been, wearing this for 8 hours is not uncomfortable at all, its almost as it isn't there. When wearing the Valley Enterprises ear bud you can hear your radio perfectly as well as everyone and everything around you. This is definetally a must have for anyone that wears an earpiece. The Valley enterprises ear bud has worked great and has not broke or degraded in any way. must buy. 5Wears itself "bigger" for the "L" connection. USELESS I bought these because my puppy chewed my $80 custom-molded one I had made at the local hearing aid store. THAT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY!I've had similar ones and this one was by far the most comfortable. The silicone was very soft. The only issue - it was too soft. The hole where the "L" part that connects it to the ear tube, etc. expanded with wear. It rendered it USELESS because it was then too big to hold the "L" attachment. That occurred after approximately 3-4 weeks. I then had the joy of learning to "hear" with my other ear because I had to switch sides (oh the agonizing thought of having to do that after using only my left ear for 7 years!). The right one dos the EXACT same thing. It lasted about 4 weeks then became too big for the "L".Would NOT buy again. 1Easy to use, no pressure or pain We just changed over to head set walkie talkie systems at my work. It has the small mushroom ear pieces, which put so much pressure on my ears it felt like they were going to explode. Off a whim, i decided to try these at work to see if I could still hear and engage as I needed to.OMG...these are a life saver. No pressure on my ears, easy to hear and communicate on the walkie talkies. These were such a big hit that my business bought two pairs for each of is 40 workers.Only con - they get discolored pretty easy. I have washed them several times, however the color never went back to the manufactured color. However still a good ear piece 4
